I've tried vegetarianism, but I couldn't stick with it, particularly because I did it stupidly and didn't take in enough protein. Now that I'm older and wiser, I could probably pull it off, but the thing is, I really don't want to.
Professional ninja. May or may not actually be back. Here for the snark and banter at most.

Main sources of life sustaining protein are best distributed in meat, so meat is healthy too.

I come from a family of hunters and I love to cook. Yes, I do eat meat. It's so tasty and such a staple food in so many ways.

I love my fruits and veggies, but I'd get a little bored if that's all I ate. I'm friends with plenty of vegetarians and vegans, so I'm used to all sorts of eating habits. (It's actually great -- our party meals are so balanced! =O)

Actually, I've heard evidence that we're supposed to be herbivores, not omnivores. It mostly had to do with the digestive tract, oddly enough. Besides, most of our teeth are flat; we only have, what, four teeth that are actually halfway sharp?
Not like being built for eating plants will stop us from eating meat, but I found it interesting, at the very least.

No, I'm not. I don't see a reason to be vegetarian at all. I know I couldn't survive. I love my beef and my chicken. Pork, I'm "meh" with, same with fish. But beef and chicken? I can't give them up. XD;;

Actually, I, personally have 14 very sharp teeth specifically for meat tearing.

Vegetarian, planning on becoming vegan someday. Because humans are not supposed to eat meat. x3 At all. I won't rant here, I'm not in the mood, unfortunately Musashi-Kun, Shirosaki and Sorano had to live through my angry rants. I am a strong believer, though, that humans are supposed to be herbivores :3

EDIT: Yes, we have canine teeth but they could never, ever possibly be able to rip apart raw meat. D: and we should have claws, and sharper longer t--- okay, I really need to keep myself from ranting. -not really in the mood to get flamed today-

If I can accidentally hit my hand in my friends teeth with minimal force and still get a deep cut, then I'm pretty sure we can tear raw flesh apart if we put are minds and jaws to it :P
Oh, I'm sure we could if we put our minds (and jaws) to it. ^^ But I doubt any sane human being would really, truthfully want to eat bloody, raw meat ripped off the bare bones of a caribou or a deer.

Most of the time, whenever I find out that someone stops eating meat, they suddenly become dignified and it excuses them for the many times of frustration they inevitably inflict upon their family and friends, who all they want is just to go to some restaurant and order a steak without all the constant remindings of how eating an animal is so wrong. There are people who don't have a hyperactive sense of guilt. People try and argue with me about how humans may suffer obvious and life-shortening effects from eating meat, or because they do not have the claws and the appropriate teeth as other animals do. This is proof enough that humans are not evolved to eat meat, right? Let's see how these same reasonings apply to other animals. We know that vultures eat meat that lions will avoid, because chances are they will get food poisoning. We also know that they are ill equipped to slay their prey and must scavenge. It certainly sounds ridiculous to argue that it is unnatural for vultures to consume meat because they lack the 'weapons', and for lions because they lack the appropriate digestive system to eat most types of meat. Some of you may think this reasoning is just to attack vegetarians, but it's not, it's an attack on irrelevant arguments.

And, um, I'm not a vegetarian. :x

I wish to be one. However, I am not allowed to, because I'd then only live on fruit [not that I like meat XD;] and bread. I'd be a... fruitarian. <_<;

Yes, I am a "normal" vegitarian, so I eat cheese, milk etc.
I´ve been vegi for about 4 years. At the beginning I only didn´t eat meat and eat fish but from time to time I didn´t want to eat this any more, too.
Actually I acted so, because of the animals... I hated it, how people kill them just to have something to eat><
But now I wouldn´t eat meat/fish, because I don´t like these things anymore... I couldn´t eat things that lived times ago o_O
Well, maybe you´d think, I´m crazy, but yea, I think so xD
