Taunt if you're afraid of Status. Place it over Stone Edge, if over anywhere.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
EVs: 54 HP / 252 Atk / 202 Spd
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Focus Punch
- Earthquake

CBTar is monstrously powerful. Both Crunch and Stone Edge recieve that beneficial STAB, Earthquake cover Steel types, although Crunch already does enough heavy damage. Focus Punch kills off many counters harder than everything else in that set. Be careful with this move though, as you will need to predict well enough to use it effectively.

Tyranitar @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Stone Edge / Ice Beam / Taunt

This set isn't as scary as CBTar, but is capable of sweeping many teams, provided you use it correctly. Crunch + Earthquake give T-Tar great coverage. You could try both Crunch and Stone Edge instead, but that ensures you get walled by Bronzong. Taunt helps you if you don't want to be induced with status problems or being PHazed, as it can get rather annoying when using DD and results you in being drawn back. Ice Beam can be useful, as it helps you kill physical walls, such as Gliscor.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Quiet Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 78 Spd / 178 Sp.Atk
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Dark Pulse
- Thunderbolt / Ice Beam

The Advance set. This helped Tyranitar counter some of the popular stalling pokémon in that gen. T-Bolt takes care of Skarmory, while Dark Pulse hits those defensive Ground types. Focus Punch stops the over-popular Blissey from walling you. Ice Beam ensures you effectively hurt many of the defensive pokemon, although you'll coverage against Bulky waters, Skarmory, Gliscor, Garchomp, etc.

In your 3rd gen set you had dark pulse...I think you meant crunch. BTW, DDtar and Boah are my favorite TTar sets, since they work. But nice sets.
