Leaving in the original outline color is a big no-no. It just looks terrible. You should really try using the palette of a blue Pokemon. Using you own custom palette can end up ruining your recolor, especially when you use such deep colors like this.

Octillery still has its old shading of red. Er... the outlines also. The pokeball needs shades. and tons of your work is saved on JPG. It's better if you used PNG that makes it clear.
