Gengar does already carry Focus Blast (fighting-typed), so what do I gain by switching to a Subpuncher (especially given Gengar's mediocre Attack)?

And then 2.) you can drop Dusknoir for something like Spiritomb, to sort of help out the Ghost weakness. Any team with a Timid Alakazam would quite possibly OHKO every one of these with a Choice Specs Shadow Ball. And Pursuit Spiritomb makes the ultimate Alakazam counter, especially if he's got Choice Specs.

To be honest, if I'm worried about Timid Alakazam I'd rather switch Fire Punch for Shadow Sneak on the Noir. Noir's simply a much better tank.
edit: With type coverage being so key, I'm not keen on running Dark attacks simply because they have the same coverage as Ghost which is already well-represented.
