Nonononononononononononononononononononononononono. 10 being the worst? 11.

Never use iron tail...never ise azumarill as a mixed sweeper. It is terrible. No walls, terrible movesets, doesn't get much worse. We told you how to use sceptile in the other thread, use our set. yours is lol horrible.

NEVER use dig either. It sucks.

O.......M........G.........

My blissey is a joke dude...in my sig, it's a joke...a

JOKE!

"wtf is wrong with you?" Um, I happen to know about battling, unlike you. Way to lose my respect for you. Azumarill has 40 base special attack, and 40 base attack, 80 with huge power, which is still low. You don't even know waht EVs are, don't give me attitude.

Why do I bother trying to help n00bs who only say tyhey are right? If you're SOOOOO good, why does your sandslash have dig? Dig sucks. End.

because i was going 2 teach it earthquake but some idiots told me 2 teach that 2 sceptile, and dig is pretty strategic if you think about it and ive probly been battling longer than you anyways so i dont need your help and btw all my pokemon are boys like me so egg moves are out of the question and im not going 2 restart just for egg moves
so **** off will you if you were born in 1999 ive been battling longer than youve been born and my original plan was 2 get 1 of each type of pokemon anyway

Okay, yeah. I WOULD'VE apologized for calling you a n00b, but forget it.

Way to break the rules swearing BTW.

Dig isn't strategic. Here's why: You use dig against...let's say a jolteon. Supereffective! Yay! Uh, no. any good player will switch out their jolteon and use a pokemon that resists earthquake, like claydol. That is why dig fails.

One of each type of pokemon? No. A GOOD team uses a physical wall, a special wall, at least two sweepers, and a tank. that's the basic build. I take it you've never fought a blissey...you know:

Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SDef
-Softboiled
-thunder wave
-seismic toss
-aromatherapy.

That walls everything on your team. You have no blisset counter, no skarm counter, no phyiscal wall or special wall. you screwed up torkoal.

You know, our job is to help, but when people who think they're great troll the forums like you and act likt they're the best, I wonder why I saty at PC. Look at my poast count. Look at yours. I have experience, which you clearly lack.

Only n00bs take my CB blissey seriously...way to go. I've played pokemon since it came out, don't lecture me about experience. I was a n00b, but I'm actually good now.

Maybe if you'd listen you'd be better, but forget it. ANY other decent player here can back me up. Instead of having an attitude try LISTENING! Forget it. You aren't gonna listen, so I'll wait til Smarties-chan or another mod comes and closes this useless thread.

If you're so good, your delcatty would have heal bell. End.

Jeremy, you fail at battling. If you had any kind of experience you would know that dig is fail. Try posting EVs and natures next time.

Thank you. Any good battler uses EVs, another thing I forgot to mention. We are trying to help, but your attitude makes you seem like a n00b...actually, it MAKES you a n00b, that and those horrid movesets. We even gave you the subseeder moveset in the sceptile thread...why not use that? It's MUCH better than your set.

LMFAO. Huge power doubles attack. Thick fat gives you fire/ice resistances. We are being harsh for a good reason ^_^

Listen...at least you've gained some of my respect back...though your 1st impression was not a good one.

Fire isn't a common type...so that resistance isn't too valuable. there are far better pokemon that resist ice, most any water type. Huge power only increases attack, nothing more. It still doesn't help, since azumarill has horrid attack to begin with. You need to get rid of ity unless you want a NU team, but a few of your pokemon are not...

You have no physical wall, torkoal, but its moveset is horrid. And no special wall. This team fails, I'd give it the lowest rating. Not terying to be harsh, I never TRY to be, I'm just honest. you have no PHazer, no spinner, no cleric...yeah, nothing good teams should have, sorry.

If you HAVE to use azumarill, don't put attack moves on it.

And BTW, the elite 4, AKA the weak 4, are no good. Don't feel good if you beat them, they suck. Azumarill is in no way a great attacker...your logic is flawed. If you want something that resists ice types, the best pokemon would be:

BLISSEY.

It has such huge special defense and HP that it can absorb special hits like candy. the moveset is posted above.

EDIT: and yeah, azumarill can only have thick fat OR huge power, you choose. Can't have both.

I used 6 pokes D: I changed pokes depending on which facility I'm challenging :x I can't imagine using Blissey in there though >_> I just had sweepers and tanks. EDIT: That is some really odd levels for an in-game team :/

The brains are also pushovers...if you can overcome the extreme hax against you, you'll be fine. the brains are at least okay...and they EV their pokemon...too bad they have lol EV spreads. Anyways, you will need EVed pokemon to survive...

Yeah, but there spreads aren't so hot. All pokemon in the frontier are EV trained actually...the brains are EZ, it's the people right before them that can be difficult.

AP and CTJ:

You're spamming the hell out of this place, and AP don't get all high and mighty with your assumed "knowledge of battling" I've been into competitive battling ever since Sapphire and Ruby hit the shelves, (Before, since they were released in Japan... That's aside from the point) and yet I'm still learning about competitive battling. Just because you may have better opinions competitive-wise about his team doesn't exactly make you the cream of the crop, so deflate your head just a tweak and let's restart, hm?

Now, CTJ, for your team:

You do need EVs, items, etc., etc. for me to give you a full-rating, and unfortunately I haven't worked with many of the Pokemon on your team, but I can give you these opinions:

Sceptile:
Didn't we settle on a better moveset for Sceptile in your other thread? Considering this is still Emerald I'm sticking to Leaf Blade/Giga Drain, Aerial Ace, Thunderpunch, and Dragon Claw.

Azumarill:
If I remember correctly, Azumarill's HP is pretty good, of course meaning Substitute is only suiting, although I can't get in depth, I do know that 80 Attack with Huge Power isn't the worst, nonetheless, Thick Fat is always better in this case.

Delcatty:
Delcatty is horrid with its stats, I suggest going for something better, in this case. If you'd like a decent Normal-type see what you can do to get a Snorlax.

Raichu:
You're on track with using Thunderbolt over Thunder, however this Raichu needs improvement. Toxic isn't the best, although if you can pull of a Toxic+Protect combo that isn't the worst, either. Brick Break is meh, so see what you can do. I suggest going to Serebii and checking out which set would be best on this guy.

Sandslash:
Sandslash's Sandstorm isn't the best on this particular team. Focus Punch sucks in this case without Substitute, Earthquake over Dig, and Slash? Try something else to replace that, only use Normal-type moves if a last resort.

Torkoal:
Unfortunately, I can honestly say I've never as much as caught a Torkoal; sorry kid, can't help you here.

Hope I've at least skimmed the surface of what you can do to help improve your team.

Happy training~

Oh come on. They were honest, and CJ only refused AND insulted all their advice. He flammed, and broke the swearing rule. They have done nothing wrong, and being part of the game longer does not mean a person is great.

EDIT: Plus, in the end, he apologiezed. So whats the problem?

Exactly. And isn't CTJ ALLOWED to spam up the thread? As he is the Thread Stater, and is therfore, allowed to ask questions.

True enough. Well, he isn't allowed to swear, though, but he said sorry.

Anti, hell many people on this site, have more battling experience than CTJ, and demeaning that won't help him out one bit. If they have more experience, he should listen, and either accept or politley refuse.

And Anti is not flaming, he's giving advice. And the Thread starter, chooses wheather to accept it or not. Though he should, take the advice, or the Thread get's closed. I've just learned to accept it even more, (My recent Thread). And Smarties has closed one of my novelty Thread's before. (I chose to use a novelty set, refused every advice given, Thread got closed).

Deleted my remarks since me and Hikari are talking over PM.

As for the team...your advice was off in one way...focus punch doesn't need substitute to be good on sandslash. You just need prediction. If you want a BF team, try:

Suicune @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Surf
- Ice Beam

CMcune is amazing at the frontier...roar isn't really needed since the frontier trainers don't know how to play. watch for critical hits.

Salamence @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Hidden Power [flying] / Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Brick Break / Fire Blast

CBmence=win. not many pokemon in the frontier can stop this monster. this is the sole destroyer of the battle arena and battle dome.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

The people at the battle frontier will try to outsweep you. If you use something like blissey, expect few things to bother you. Watch out for the CB sweepers...in the BF, there are more than you think.
