Ack, depressing subject i know.... ._.

Well, have any of you Guys ever been picked on/been hated for no fair reason? I have many..many... times...

I moved Schools recently, and i only go part time. I have already been called names, been treated as if i am really nasty myself, called rude names, hit round the head with a locker door..the list goes on forever.

I don't understand why so many of the teens in my class are nasty to me, i never treated them wrong, i mean i'm new. There's a nickname going round for me which is 'Biggest HP Fan ever', all the Boys in my class think HP is lame, and they think i love it so much. They think i'm a wierdo just because i like HP. They call me that name in a sarcasticly nasty way, like they're trying to upset me. I'm alowed to be a fan of whatever i like
Ofcourse, i have not let loose my secret that i am a Pokemon fan, because i'd be dead in ten seconds if anybody found that out. They also call me names that i can't mention here. I'm sick and tired of so many big headed teenagers who think they are so cool. I really am loathing my new school.

Anyhoo, if you have ever been picked on for no proper reason, please come say here.

--- Why i left PC ---

<< left PC and PROUD OF IT >>

I've come to my senses--PC makes me absolutely sick, I hate it. No, this isn't an attention-grab like some morons say it is, it's my stand against the degredation of this once-great place. It's clear to me that PC has been absolutely ruined, and I'll never be back. I'd like to thank the few of you who stand with me, especially people like Silent Tattsu and Frostweaver, as they have given me the strength to rise above this place. I need to get on with my life, especially after some of you have perverted and absolutely obliterated the old PC spirit. I'm not welcome here, and if I may say so, I don't care to be here. Just you wait, and PC will be dead. Not the forums themselves, as, at length, was stated in another topic, but the spirit of PC, more important than any individual member or group of members. It's fading fast, and I won't be around when it disappears, leaving an empty shell of a forum filled with members who delight in this new, ruinous order. So I have chosen to be brave and leave, even if it is unpopular or considered un-PC-ish. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'm about as anti-PC as anyone can get right about now.
Nuff said. I don't need to explain, Kaga says it all. Please don't PM me, since i won't be here to check them. And while your at it stop giving Kaga bad rep points for his sig. One word i-m-m-a-t-u-r-e.

OMG, yes, and that's a LOT of people XD

Most of them are from school, they just hate me cus I never talk. Heck, a bunch of kids even picked on me for drawing nude girls. They called me a dirty lesbian. For their information, I draw that not to be dirty, to be artistic, darn it.. ><;; And they even pick on me cus I'm the 'quiet one' at school. =/

*hugs Tattsu* There, there.. peeps just pick on people for their beliefs and likes. Just think of it as this 'F*** them, I can do whatever the crap I want, and I won't let no crap-for-brains push me around' >=D Just ignore them, and sooner or later, they'll ignore ya back.

Yes, but so full of self-righteousness, they weren't aware that it was hate...
They justified their stupid delusions of hate with a holier-than-thou attitude.
Hypocrisy at its blind finest... yes.

I've been there...back in the sixth grade.

It may have been that I was what you call a "late bloomer". Where all the other boys were roling over the 5ft. mark and starting to crack their voice, I was just 4'10" and still had the high voice of a kindergartener. It might've been that I just didn't care about how I presented or carried myself in a school where the snobby preppish people ruled all. It might've just been that I was smarter than them and they were jealous (although since I was constantly failing two of my classes at the time, I doubt this theory XD).

Anyways, I was harassed all the time after school, be it on the bus or the library I always went to to study. They would call me all kinds of bad names such as haggot or gay. It got so bad that I remember that I had to sit in the library's bathroom and hide (crying I might add...) until the librarian pulled me out. My parents were well aware of the situation, and my counselor told them that there was no way that they could handle this situation. So my parents, fed up with the school, moved me to a different school district. Although the new school had it's shortcomings, I was never harassed seriously ever since.

Although this was a terrifying time in my life, I think the desire for my own fantasy world to go to and Pokmon red/blue's American release coincided at just the right time...I don't think I would be a pokfan at all if I wasn't harassed back then.

That is so mean... All of the stories of people acting like that are sad. Sorry that all of you have to go through that; people who would waste their time being mean to others have no life, and they seriously need to get one. They are really the ones with the problem. Trust me, what goes around comes around, and one day they'll get what they deserve. (Which, unless they change, will be something very bad.)

Anyways, I've really never been picked on. It may be because I don't go to a public school, and I'm not constantly surrounded by kids my age that are so wrapped up in being 'cool', that they don't care about other peoples' feelings. It also may be the fact that I'm quiet, and I keep to myself, so I don't go around meeting a lot of people on my own. I have very good social skills, I just don't talk to strangers that often.
Another reason may be the fact that I'm kind of tall, and they don't really feel like picking on me. Though, I don't look very intimidating, so that's most likely not the cause, ehe. I'm almost always with my family, though, including my brother, so if anyone did happen to pick on me or one of them, they would have to deal with a lot of people supporting and backing us up, lol.

Anyways, just be thankful that all of you are not like that, and that you know better. Things like this do happen for a reason; I think that they make us stronger people. Once you've learned from experience, then you'll be more able to help others' handle the situation, too, and you won't have the desire to act in such a stupid way as those mean people.

I have had someone hate me for no reason... but it wasn't a bullying situation. It started in 7th grade. I don't even know how it started cuz we were friends for a little while (we had met earlier that year). Then all of a sudden this girl started hating me. She would always give me the evil eye and stuff. I had no idea what it was all about either. Eventually I started hating her too just cuz she hated me. Then it turned into more of a fun hate between us. In band she would give me dirty looks... but I would usually just end up giggling about them. But she really did hate me. Then someone told me a possible reason... apparently she had said hi to me and I didn't respond! I don't recall that situation occuring though... but even if it did it's a pretty stupid reason to hate someone... and this hate between us lasted for 2 years! Then in 9th grade it was like it just disappeared.

I've never really had people pick on me or anything. Okay well in 2nd grade when I was new at my school this one girl would kinda pick on me cuz I was quiet. She would always try to get me to talk. But all she would do was tell me to talk over and over. It wasn't a big deal though. Most people just leave me alone and don't bother to pick on me cuz I mostly keep to myself anyway. Since I don't bother them, they don't bother me. Which is perfectly okay with me.

Ohh, that reminds me of an old friendship that was totally ruined because of one stupid thing - a necklace! My old best friend was jealous of me because I bought a new necklace that was really pretty, and for a while she would not speak to me at all. So, I didn't worry about it, and I went off to play with my other friends. After a while she told me that I was ignoring her, when she was the one that started the whole thing! She had been a pain in the past to deal with, anyway, and she was not a very good friend, so I just decided to end that friendship right there. I'm glad that I did, too. It was just so silly at how she got so mad over something like that.

And even though it's been a couple of years, I still see her in town sometimes, and she's really not doing very well. (How she acts, and everything.) She's so rude to my brother and I. I just ignore her, and I don't worry about it.

I have a friend that's kinda like that too Kayleigh. She gets mad over stupid things like that and she always thinks everyone is always mad at her. She'll come up to me and say, "Ashley, Sarah's mad at me." Then I'll go talk to Sarah and she'll say she's not mad at anyone! And the whole thing will be because Sarah didn't say ,"Hi" to my other friend or because of something else stupid and pointless like that. But luckily these arguments never last long and we're all friends again in the end. She may be annoying but she is one of my closest friends... I just wish she didn't always think we're mad at her when we aren't!

Oh! And my sister's friend hates me for no reason... I think. Whenever she sees me she'll give me this really evil eye. And if I say, "Hi" to her or something she'll ignore me and walk away or something. Sure she's my sister's friend but none (or at least most) of her other friends don't act like that around me. I guess she is someone that does hate me for no reason... at least no reason that I'm aware of...

Oh, I know how you feel. I've had some friends like that. I think that all that people like that are looking for is attention. I don't mean that in an offensive way, I just think that it is true. They seem to make a bigger deal out of smaller things than what they should.

And I have a neighbor like that! She is just so rude to everyone. I'll look over at her, and every time that I see her she has an angry look on her face. I mean, it's like she's possessed or something! I don't recall ever seeing her smile, unless she was cackling evily or something. O_o She is very wierd. I think that she has some mental problems or something.

Yeah I have a strong feeling all my friend craves is attention. She tends to take stupid little things and turn them into a huge issue. Luckily I've never gotten into a fight with her in the 4 years we've been friends. But I'm afraid to tell her no and stuff in fear that she will blow it out of proportion and a fight will start. She invited me to go to New Hampshire with her family at the end of July and I really don't want to go. Another one of my friends went with her a couple years ago and she had no fun at all. All my friend did was yell at her parents and brother and she complained about everything. I can only imagine how uncomfortable my other friend felt. Plus at one point when she got into an argument with her parents she told my other friend... who was there to keep her company on this trip as a guest... that she would feel much better if she had her online friends with her! Okay, I love all my online friends and everything, but I would never say I prefer them over my real life friends in times of need like that! Usually only someone in real life that you know and care about can comfort you whenever you need them to, ya know? But saying that she wanted her online friends instead of the one friend that went on that trip with her was pretty rude and uncalled for. That must've made her feel so out of place on that trip. So I don't want to go and be in a similar situation... so I had to come up with an excuse not to go so I wouldn't have to say I didn't want to go... or the reason why I didn't want to go... my other friend told me that story confidentially and didn't want me to tell her that she told me...

And a couple of my sister's friends hate me for no reason really. And like you said... I don't think I've ever seen them smile near me unless it was an evil smile or and evil giggle. One girl just stares at me, another stalks me and giggles, another pokes me, another just giggles, and then there are two others who just like to annoy me for no reason... and their teasing me caused me to get sick once too. I don't know what my sister told them all that made them hate me... but it most likely wasn't good!

Ohh, that must have been such an awkward situation for her, then. I understand that some people may prefer online friends over real-life ones, but they don't need to go and tell their real-life ones that. None of my friends really go on the computer, and so they've never told me anything like that, but I could imagine the feeling. I've had to deal with other people picking others over me, and it does hurt your feelings!

Anyways, I guess that all that I could recommend would be to talk to her about it calmly, if it ever got out-of-hand. It's obvious that she's a sensitive person, so you wouldn't want to go overboard and tell her something without thinking about it first, because otherwise you may lose a friend. I would try to explain everything in a friendly way, and show her that you understand, and hopefully she will think about it. ^_^; I don't know though... I can't say that I've been in this kind of situation, lol.

And yeah, it is freaky. But my neighbor doesn't even have a reason to be like that. I mean, she was like that the first time that I met her. I've always been nice to her, but she's still a rude person. Oh well; it's not worth worrying about people like that, anyway!

(Wow... One of my posts was at 12:30, then your next one was at 12:40, then mine was 12:50! How freaky; exactly ten minutes apart!)

Yeah, my friend has never said to me that she prefers her online friends to her real life ones... but she did say it to my other friend while she was on vacation with her! And I highly doubt that her online friends mean as much to her as mine do. I mean, I spend a lot of my free time online talking to my online friends and I don't think she does. And I have talked to some of her online friends in a chat before... and they just don't seem to be the kind of people you can attach yourself to like she seems to have done... but again, I think it's just an attention thing. And the girl that she said the online friend thing to has a lot of online friends too... but she doesn't go around saying that she likes them better than her real life ones. I would never say that to my real life friends... my online life and my offline life don't need to cross...

Well if I ever did get into a situation with her then I guess the only thing to do would be to calmly talk it out. Or have another friend be a messenger like I always end up doing. But having a 3rd person could cause more issues. I'm just gonna hope we don't get into a fight like that. She does seem to be the sensitive type... and I can see why. Her brother dropped out of school, both her parents smoked but they had to quit cuz her mom has been having heart problems for awhile now, and there are probably more issues too. So I can see why she is sensitive and stuff... but she goes a little overboard!

I hate when people hate me for no reason! There must be a reason though. But when someone like my sister's friends just randomly give me the evil eye it really bugs me. I just want to know why! That's all. Once I know why maybe we can patch things up...

And that time thing really is freaky! 10 muinute intervals... and OMG! I did it again! At 2:00... that's freaky.

Oh and Dizzy... yeah about that, I think she's apologized but I'm still gonna be cautious of her. She said she's sorry but if she says one more thing then she gets blocked again... but for now I'll let it go...

(Oh my gosh! You posted exactly ten minutes from my post, again. O_o This is so freaky, lol.)

And yeah, I know what you mean about the online thing. A lot of people that I have met, who do have online friends, seem to have kind of strange ones. I mean, the kind that talk like they're in a chatroom. ('wut do u 2 want 2 talk about', and stuff like that.) It's annoying. It's not like here, where you can have a decent conversation with someone.

Anyways, yeah, usually people that have family lives like that tend to be more depressed than others. Though, you can't blame them. I'm sorry to hear that about her, but I know how you feel. I have a friend that is like that; her grandfather died a couple of years ago, and since then, she hasn't been doing too well. I guess that the best thing that we can do for people like that is to be good friends to them, and hopefully they'll get better.

Oh, and good luck doing that, lol. People like that are so hard to become friends with...

I've never been picked on or anything. I'm in 9th grade and I'm still 4'11, voice still hasn't cracked, I almost never talk, and when I do, nice things almost never come out of my mouth, and no one minds.

There was this one time when some kid kept messing around with my hair and calling me a girl (do I resemble a girl???) for a week. Then he went off away somewhere after I made a somewhat cruel remark about him in PE. And everyone laughed. That was a high point that year. I think I;m one of those people who poke fun of people actually.

Well so much for the 10 minute thing... but it was freaky while it lasted!

Well her online friends that I have talked to were these two guys. And they were being really perverted so I just stayed out of the chat. She's not usually like that though so I don't know why she'd prefer them to her real friends. And my question is where did she find her online friends... like, I met all of you here so we already have a common interest but her friends seem to be just random people that she IMed one day or something. She doesn't know I have all you for my online friends and I prefer it that way too. It's kind of awkward to talk to your friend's online friends... especially when they aren't the kind of people I'd normally be friends with...

I can definitely understand why she is senstive and stuff since her home life isn't the greatest... but then again, it isn't the worst either. Both her parents are still together, her mom had recovered from her heart surgery, and her brother does have a job. So it's not all that bad. And I think I am a pretty good friend to her... but I can't be there for her 24/7. I've had 3 days off from work so far this summer and she's asked me to come over her house all 3 times! I mean, I went over there on Monday but I do want to spend some time at home to be by myself and with my sister. I don't want to spend all my free time with her... but I just don't know how to say no. And the weird thing is that she was having a similar issue with another friend last year where she didn't always want to go to the other girl's house... so she should know how I feel but again, she craves attention.

I don't necessarily want to be friends with my sister's friends... I just don't want them to treat me the way they do! I want them to be like the rest of her friends and be loose around me and stop with the evil eye already! But they like to annoy me cuz they know it works. Maybe I'll just ignore them next time... but that's so hard to do! Oh well... I think I should go to sleep now that it's almost 2:30. I'll worry about my sister's friends hating me some other time!

I've had plenty of people hate me for no reason. I've dealt with it through elementary school, middle school, and high school; and, I'm sure I'll deal with it more in my life. ^_^; There was this one girl that always started trouble with me throughout elementary school...one minute she'd be my friend, and the next she'd be a total brat to me. I didn't know what her problem was. Now, I just see her walking to school--she goes to a different school than me and she'd walk to the bus stop near my house--in the morning (well, not anymore because it's summer) and she'd always look at me with this cold stare when I'd drive by her. Eh, weird.

Then, I got this rude girl that I knew since middle school in my science class last year. She was in a pretty bad mood that day because she started picking fights with everyone in my class and she'd yell and all this stuff. So, I was glad she didn't pick on me because I kept my distance. But, what I found odd was that when I walked into class that morning--before she started all the chaos--the boy that sat next to her said, "Hi, Chrystina!"...and I barely talk to him. The girl just stared at me as I walked by. But, I didn't really think anything of it. Finally, after class a friend of mine told me she was talking about me before I came in. She was saying how "She's the biggest snob...I don't know what it is about her..." People often mistake that for my being shy and quiet. I just thought that was very rude and a stupid remark to make--because, I was always pretty nice to her whenever she talked to me. I don't know where I get all these psycho people...heh. O_o

Things normally get better when you reach high school. If not, things WILL get better when you become an adult. Trust me, most adults would rather not get involved in childish stuff like picking on people.

Nobody got on ym case until 4th grade. I had just moved to New York so I was already at a disadvantage right there. I had never been picked on by anyone outside the family before so having kids be mean to me was a new experience. There was the girl gang, the usual group of girls who picked and picked and picked CONSTANTLY. I dreaded going to school. Boys picked on me too for stupid reasons like flinching from a ball in gym (hey, I dislike having balls fly towards my head). And the teacher writes on my report card that I prefer to be alone, away from the other kids. Well, can you blame me?

So near the end of 4th grade, I had enough. One of the girls confronted me, and I spit in her eye. That was probably the bravest thing I'd ever done o.o. So the little b*tch starts crying and runs to the teacher. So of course I'm horribly scared because I didn't want to get in trouble. It was a minor incident and the teacher said that I should have told her that I was having problems with these girls. Bah.

Ok, 5th grade. Now my main enemy was a kid named Jason Cahill. He picked and picked and picked. This one time he stole my homework from me backpack. I already had a record of not turning stuff in, so the teacher sort of blew up at me when I told her I couldn't find it. So I cried and later I was picked on for crying. Fortunately, Jason's friend told the teacher what really happened, but she apologized to me in private even though she yelled at me in front of the whole class. What's weird was that Jason was actually my friend on and off. On my 11th birthday we actually rode our bikes around the neighborhood. And a few other people would come over to my house and use our swimming pool. But at school they went back to being mean. I even said to this one girl, Erica, who was picking on me, "But in summer you came over to my house to swim." and she goes "No I didn't!" Because, ya know, all ehr friends were there.

6th grade. Nothing springs to mind though I did have my first physical fight. And I began saying cuss words and becoming more sour in general. What's funny is that we had a camping trip in the beginning of 6th grade and Jason starts picking on me again. So (in my second bravest act in history) I say "Look, I'm taller than you, so you better not pick on me." He left me alone for the rest of the year! This year I was heavily picked on for the clothes I wore. Sigh.

Enter 7th grade. Jason starts up AGAIN. So i come home upset and my mom decided that enough is enough. I begged her not to, but sure enough, she drives to Jason's house. I was scared to death fearing that the picking would escalate since an adult got involved. You bet that Jason was pretty frightened to see me and my mom at his house. So our moms discussed, he promised to leave me alone, and that was that. I didn't have problems with him but still got picked on by other people. Oh, and coming home from the bus one day, some girls poured pixie stick sugar in my hair.

Now that I think about it, my experiences between the ages of 9 and 13 are probably why I distrust people and am quick to anger. Hrm. Atleast High School was better.
