Empoleon @Lefties?
Adamant/Jolly if you're gonna invest EVs in speed
EVS; Honestly I have no idea. Sorry.
Swords Dance
Waterfall/Aqua Jet
Earthquake
Rock Slide/Drill Peck/Steel Wing/Shadow Claw/Brick Break/Avalanche<-- Avalanche is better, IMO
Whoa, talk about novelty. Empoleon's attack stat is rather mediocre, but I suppose it could pull this off. It certainly has the element of surprise though, lol. Pretty creative, though. =P

It's about the same as (lol) charizard's, which you might find shocking. People use physical Zard, I see no problem...though the agilityspecial sweeper set has been around for awhile.

To tell the truth... I don't know much about the D/P starter's Standards. I'll remove the special set.

It's agilipoleon. But of course, it's still a great set...there's a few others...maybe a choice specs one? I'm not so sure to be honest...

Whoops, I thought you meant the CS set >.<;

I'm pretty sure Brick break could work on it for specifically countering Blissey. But it's stupid to have a move on something just to counter one Pokemon. At least, not for one that has such pitiful P{hysical Defense (Even if it has ALOT of HP)

Actually, it the move is to counter blissey, it might be worth it. If it is a skarmbliss counter, then using BB just for bliss is fine. IMO

And OMG OMG OMG! 4000 POSTS!!!!!

Okay.

Hmmm... EQ could hit Skarm if you predict a Roost... that is, if people evn use Roost on it often. I admit, I don;t know all the standards... just the ones I use frequently.

It's actually quite effective.

Emploeon @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
EV: 252 Atk / 252 Spd/HP
- Waterfall
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Avalanche

It's not that it can't work, but it's rather uncommon.

Special Sweeper Emploeon

Emploeon @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Nature: Modest
EVs: 72 HP / 184 Spd / 252 SAtk
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Agility

This can do moderately well in the OU ernironment. Just make sure, no pokemon gets a stat boost. :3

O.o; ...Really?

It's just that one day I thought "Hmmm... It can't boost it's Sp.Att without help... but wait! It can get Swords Dance! And base 84 Attack isn't too bad. I think this can work out! I'll make a Swords-Dancing Empoleon set!"

And that's how most of my ideas come up. I review a Pokemon's movepool, base stats, and type effectivness before I start working my magic on it.

But the standards are still better >.>;

Like Spice Curry said, I've already posted a set like that.

Could Swords Dance Empoleon work better with a Ninjask on the team? You know, to pass Speed?

I always found it a bit odd Empoleon got Swords Dance when the attack should have gone to more viable candidates. Oh well; we're talking about the same people who think that making another useless electric type (Pachirisu) is progress ._.

The Ninjask + Empoleon thing could actually work...!

Good. I have an EVed Jolly one that would work well in conjunction with Emploeon.

Ninjask is really fail, but if you can ACTUALLY pull off a pass (lol not likely) you can do some damage.

I'm not thinking about SD pass... But rather Speed thanks to 'Jask's Ability.

This may sound N00bish... But when I can't use Sub anymore, mabye I could use Protect for just one more boost to pass.

Unless... Is there a more reliable Speed Passer that can get in and out of the battle quickly?

Doesn't matter. roar >>>>> Ninjask. the easiest OU pokemon to counter, EVER. but if you can pass speed, good. there's always agility and passing attack...

The only person I can fight right now... my brother, doesn't use Roar/Whirlwind. And I already got weather support to counter his Tyranitar's Sandstream, his biggest threat to my team.

But 90% of teams have PHazers, meaning ninjask works 10% of the time...so no...I mean, it's by far the most overrrated pokemon in history, but I won't even go there...lol
