You know what's funny? I kept seeing that HT posted and what not, and then i went to the thread and couldn't see her post no matter what i did. So anyway like a good member I go to reply. Well I scroll down to read what some of the post were and there HT was.

Anyway...aside from my computer going all psycho on me. It's not just this site it's doing it with other sites, but it'll get better soon. :P

Enough about my precious lappy.

So I'm watching Grave of the Fireflies...anyway it's not the most happy film on the face of the planet. The last time I watched it i cried, but I'm hoping to stay strong through it.

Princess Tutu...*jots down*...i have a running list of anime that i want to see. I'm such a dork...leave me alone! *gets struck by lightning*

Yeah I'm not even close to beginning the animes i want to watch. Time is winding down and I'm losing it quickly. college is starting in a few weeks so it's going to get hectic here. *le sigh* I'll build up my list so I have a whole bunch of animes to watch.

what is one anime you could have done without seeing? I know there are movies that i feel like was a waste of 2 hours of life to watch and just killed more brain cells than i wanted. Are there any anime that you've seen like that?

That award goes to Lucky Star (no offense to its fans) for me. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen and fell asleep in the middle of an episode.

But anyway...

Episode 4 for Strike Witches was interesting--the character I thought I'd see the backstory to wasn't who I expected at all.

Episode 5 looks like the mandatory beach episode.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be at least one trip to the beach in every anime?

Every slice-of-life or harem or romance anime i've ever watched has a beach episode in it. From what I've seen so far it really serves no purpose to the plot, and the only reason is to see the girls in bikini's i would suppose...*mutters* fanservice...grr...

I don't know. I don't like fanservice. I tolerate it because the anime is good. If the anime is good and the fanservice is too much for me (which isn't hard to accomplish for me, i'm afraid...) then i just kind of stop watching the anime. But sometimes I overlook a lot for the sake of the anime. But I'm odd...what can I say! :P

Lucky Star episode 1 gave me a bad impression...since it bored me. xD Though I gave it another shot and now I think it's an ok anime. :3

Fanservice doesn't bother me either. xD

Just watched Naisho no Tsubomi episode 2. X3

I was kind of opposite with Lucky Star, I liked it a lot at first... but then it just got so repetitive... XD

Strike Witches episode 5 was about what I expected from a beach episode--until the gang got attacked at the beach...

I saw episode 1 of Lucky Star a very long time ago, and it really didn't caught my attention. Maybe because I was distracted with something else while I watched it. Maybe I should give another chance as well.

And fanservice is okay with me as long they don't go overboard with it.

I kept waiting for something interesting to happen during episode 1 of Lucky Star and eventually fell asleep. I know that a series isn't worth watching if you fall asleep while watching.

I will join. I am a huge anime fan.

I might as well answer a few of the questions on the first page.

Fave anime & fave character:
Anime: Yu Yu Hakusho
Character: Younger Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho

What anime do you recommend the most to others? Yu Yu Hakusho

Name some animes you think not many have heard of that you have seen: Steel Angel Kurumi and Sorcerer Hunters.

Do you think any anime characters are sexy/hot/cute? Yes
If so, who is your #1? Damn. That is hard. In the end, I would say either James from Pokemon, Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, or Marik Ishtar from Yu-Gi-Oh!

How much anime stuff do you own? A fair amount. Mainly DVDs, tee-shirts, and action figures.

Name an anime you dropped and tell why you did not like it: Slayers. The plot is too random and disjointed for my tastes. It is also boring whenever it is serious. Furthermore, I dislike all of its characters except Gourry, Zelgadis, and Xellos. In particular, Lina annoys me. I cannot help but roll my eyes whenever I encounter people who claim she is the best anime heroine in existence.

What is your fave animal from an anime? Meowth from Pokemon

Do you tend to like good guys or bad guys? It depends on the anime. Usually, I will prefer the "good guys," though there are times in which I will like the "bad guys" more. There are also times in which I will like the "good guys" and "bad guys" equally.

Do you refer to japanese animation as "anime"? Yes
Do you get upset when people call japanese animation 'cartoons'? Yes

Do you prefer subs, dubs or both? Both

Is there anything that you wished existed for anime merchandise but you cannot find it anywhere? For example a t-shirt or plush etc A tee-shirt of James from Pokemon carrying a single red rose.

When you watch anime do you watch the Openings and Endings of the anime? Or you skip to the show? I watch the Openings and Endings.

What are your fave opening and ending songs? Openings are Melissa from Fullmetal Alchemist, Warriors from Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Little Date from Ranma 1/2. Endings are Doing Unbalanced Kissing from Yu Yu Hakusho, The Eternal Steel Angels from Steel Angel Kurumi, and .hack//Roots' ending song.

Fave voice actors/actresses: Eric Stuart, Ted Lewis, Darren Dunstan, Wayne Grayson, Maddie Blaustein, Justin Cook, John Burgmeier, Christopher Sabat, Vic Mignogna, Yuri Lowenthal, Liam O' Brian, Andrew Rannells, Hilary Haag, Kira Vincent-Davis, and Rachael Lillis.

Fave characters: List your top 3 guys & top 3 girls
Males:
1. Younger Toguro (Yu Yu Hakusho)
2. James (Pokemon)
3. Buggy the Clown (One Piece)

Females:
1. Jessie (Pokemon)
2. Genkai (Yu Yu Hakusho)
3. Izumi (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Do you like to pair up charactes? If so what are some of your faves? Yes. My favorites are Jessie x James from Pokemon, Younger Toguro x Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho, Winry x Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist, Kurumi x Nakahito from Steel Angel Kurumi, Pegasus x Cecilia from Yu-Gi-Oh!, Naru x Keitaro from Love Hina, and Usopp x Kaya from One Piece.

Favorite Villain? Buggy the Clown from One Piece.

Do you guys like anime or manga better? I prefer anime, though I do like manga.

Is there a manga that you want to be made into an anime? Your and My Secret

What anime character do you think would be best to go on a vacation with you, and where? James from Pokemon. We would go to
Manhattan, NY. How romantic would that be, especially if we went in the winter (yeah, I am a fangirl. Deal)?

Hey there! Welcome to the club!!
You are everywhere XD Anyway, thanks for the welcome.

Now that I own the second and third seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, I am currently re-watching them. Despite being a franchise for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters actually has a deep and interesting plot. Nearly all of its characters are three-dimensional and likable, including the villains *hugs Marik and Dartz*. The only characters who I dislike are Yami Yugi/Pharaoh Atem, Tristan, Tea, Seto (only in the dub. He is okay in the Japanese version), Rebecca, Mokuba, Solomon (Yugi's grandfather), Serenity, and Vivian. Plus, the duels are actually fun to watch.
