This is my first Fan-Fiction story, and seeing all these other great stories I hope mine will also be successful. This story may seem a bit controversial to some Pokemon fans, but mabye it will give you a new, unexplored perspective on Pokemon.
Chapter One
"The world we've never known"
Our story begins in a world which at first seems like the world we live in now, but something is very, very different. The skies are still blue, the grass is still green, animals live everywhere, and people still inhabit the Earth, but one thing is different, our world is also inhabited by Pokemon.
So the big question comes up, "How do Pokemon, animals, and people all get along on the same planet without major chaos and destruction, and what has changed otherwise?"
In our world we still have laws and regulations, and it's because of these that everyone is able to co-exist. Let me explain a little more for you.
Pokemon are magical creatures, not like anything else on our planet. They possess abilities most animals don’t have, and certainly abilities people don’t have.
Since the start of time, Pokemon have had a certain understanding and respect for our planet, long before humans were around. They spent millions of years co-existing with the many non-magical plants and animals, and even though they had powers beyond belief, they didn't wipe them out. Instead, the plants and animals learned to live alongside Pokemon and adapt to their powers; although plant, animal, and Pokemon were all connected in the circle of life. Larger carnivorous Pokemon ate smaller plant eating Pokemon and animals, larger animals preyed upon the smaller Pokemon and animals, and some of the Plant Pokemon were eaten by animals and other Pokemon. It's seems unfair to the animals and small Pokemon, but every species had their own way of making sure they wouldn't be decimated, and used special tactics like quick reproduction or other abilities like being toxic or very aggressive. Even with these survival strategies, not all Pokemon and animal species survived. Many species of Pokemon, plants, and animals went extinct, gone forever never to be seen again. They were the one's not able to adapt to the changes, and were quickly wiped out. Certain Pokemon learned to evolve, making them stronger or better equipped to survive in harsh environments. Eventually most of the Pokemon kept this ability, being able to evolve by increasing strength, or coming in contact with magical elemental stones. Various species of animals also evolved, but very slowly, creating new species, not actual evolutions. Eventually, some of the animals evolved into modern humans. It's because of this that People today lack the magical power Pokemon have, we are in no way related to them, we’ve evolved from a second branch in evolution. Soon the humans started learning to use animals and Pokemon to their benefit. Animals were used for food, clothing, medicine, and hunting companions. Pokemon on the other hand were much smarter than the humans, and as we know had a better understanding of the world around them. Humans found it very difficult to hunt Pokemon for food, they were just too smart and powerful for them, very few ended up as a meal. So, while humans used animals and plants for food, and the occasional animal as a pet, they found out befriending Pokemon had much more benefits and rewards for them. While early man did develop tools, they started relying on their Pokemon for help. If man needed to catch a fish, he could have relied on his net, but his success would have been low, so instead he used his Pokemon's help for a greater success, ensuring he would have plenty to eat. But there was still one problem, when mating season came or a migration for the Pokemon, they would leave unexpectedly and the human would be without his Pokemon. It took many years to figure out a solution, but eventually the first Pokeball was created. Large acorns from trees were shaped into a ball shape and crafted with a lock on them to seal or open the ball. The ball was then thrown at a Pokemon, in hopes of capturing it, but only after it was weakened by another Pokemon. This solved the problem of the Pokemon leaving, because once they were caught, they never left their "master's" side. It's still a mystery how the Pokemon is sealed inside the ball, but some say it's by magic. Tribes or Clans of people traded or sold these Pokeballs for food, along with furs. Soon humans capturing Pokemon became popular and the first trainers appeared. But not all "trainers" used their Pokemon for good. Some had them steal food from other clans, others used them to destroy the homes of rival tribes, and some worked their Pokemon to death. It was this flaw with the Pokemon that gave them the potential to be dangerous. So eventually trainers taught their Pokemon to fight and become strong, this way they can protect the Trainers family and prevent theft. The stronger the Pokemon, the better it was, and soon trainers started having matches battling their Pokemon against another tribes Pokemon. The winner got bragging rights, evolution stones, and some food, and in return the other tribe or clan knew not to mess with that rival!
Fast foward a couple thousand years to today, and the technology along with the people have changed greatly. People and Pokemon may work together, doing various jobs such as construction, rescue, cooking, and so much more! But for Trainers who go to School, Pokemon are not allowed unless for a very special reason. Nowadays, great cities and buildings litter the Earth, pollution and crime are found everywhere, and very much of the land that used to exist and was ruled by animals and Pokemon is now controlled by People. But one thing remains the same, and that is the relationship between a human and their Pokemon.
Along with the world, many things related to Pokemon have changed.
Pokemon are now protected by law, that means your not allowed to eat, harm, kill, abuse, or torture any Pokemon species, if you do so and are caught you will either be fined or locked in jail. Accidental killing such as a car accident is reviewed by a Cop if you were at fault, and if found innocent you won’t be charged for it. Although laws exist, in many parts of the world such laws are broken illegally mainly because there are so many people and not enough law enforcement to keep track of all the crimes, so to this day many Pokemon and animals are still subjected to these cruel People. Another major change for Pokemon are the centers created to heal any injured or sick Pokemon. You can find one of these centers in every town, and if you own a Pokemon the treatment is free. You will also find Pokemart's, here accessories are sold such a various Pokeballs, medicines, and foods. Many Pokemon will eat the same food as people do, so feeding one usually isn't expensive, but for those picky species Pokemon chow is sold in stores for an affordable price, off course the amount varies where you live. Many different Pokemon inhabit the world, too many to count, but where you live affects which Pokemon your able to catch. There are many different Countries, each has different habitats, so the Pokemon you find in each will vary. To be the Ultimate Pokemon Trainer you must travel around the world to catch them all, which doesn't come cheap either. Depending on where you live, such as a city, you wont find monster Pokemon in such congested places, if a Pokemon such as a Magikarp evolves in a busy city pond, you can bet that Gyarados will be out of place, so it must migrate to deeper waters where it will find the living better. Another important change is for the Pokemon trainers. If your a Beginner trainer (ages 7-12), you are entitled to picking a starter Pokemon for yourself. You must have a contract signed by a parent that incase your not able to care for your Pokemon your Parent will assume responsibility. This ensures no Pokemon are neglected or tossed in the wild. To compete in a Pokemon League tournament, a Beginner trainer must earn all the badges for the Beginner level, and transportation cost to each Gym is covered by Professor Old, who also creates the Pokedex for all trainers. If you are a Junior Trainer (ages 13-20) you are given six free Pokeballs, that is because at this level you are not entitled to a free Pokemon, you must go out and earn the trust of your first Pokemon, becoming best friends with it. Once you accomplish that, your new friend will help you make more Pokemon friends. You must earn all the Junior Trainer badges to compete in the Pokemon League Tournament. The Expert Trainers (ages 21 and up) To qualify for this level, a person must have started out as either a Beginner or Junior Trainer, and be twenty-one years or older. They must also have won at least one Pokemon League Tournament. Trainers in this category already own at least one Pokemon. The Trainers may also try out for the last and final qualification, Gym Leader. On top of all the Expert Trainer requirements, one must also pass a difficult test made up by Professor Old, only then can a person be a Pokemon Gym Leader.
Our story begins with a Trainer named Keith, a Trainer who loves Pokemon, but also has to deal with life's issues and challenges.

Chapter Two
“A New Trainer”
It was a cold day on the twelfth of November and our main character; Keith, had just turned twenty years old. It was a very special day for Keith, for today he would be signing up to become a Junior Pokemon Trainer. For as long as he could remember, Keith had always loved Pokemon and wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer, but School had always been difficult for him, and because of this he had little time for Pokemon. Now that Keith had recently graduated a two year College, he decided now is the best time to begin his training, “better late than never” he thought to himself. As he opened up his Birthday present from his Parents, he discovered inside was his very own Pokedex, six Pokeballs, a Map of all the Pokemon Gym’s, and his very own Pokemon I.D. badge, he had gotten most of the basics to start his training! He hugged his Parents thanking them for this wonderful Birthday Gift they ordered from Professor Old, he could hardly wait to start his training!
Before we go any further, we should learn a little more about Keith and his life.
Our story takes place on Long Island; West Babylon to be exact, which is part of New York State. Long Island, thought to be busy like the City, is in fact much less crowded than New York City, and doesn’t have as much pollution. It is here Keith has lived his whole life, and hasn’t traveled to other places very often.
Keith is a tall and lanky 6’3” Caucasian Male with Dirty Blonde hair and Blue eyes. He has trouble seeing far away so he must constantly wear a pair of glasses to help him see well, and having big feet wears a size twelve shoe.
Keith would be described as the “Nerdy” type, being he is so thin, wears glasses, and in the past had braces, because of this he was never very popular in School. In spite of this, Keith does have one good friend named Joe.
Joe is a rather short eighteen year old Puerto Rican Male with brown eyes and black hair. Joe is also the “nerdy” type, but unlike Keith, Joe thinks of himself as a “ladies man”. Keith chuckles because all the Ladies pass Joe by being he is so short, he tends to ignore them, always searching for more “Hotties”; as he calls them.
This unlikely Friendship started one day at Lunch when Keith sat by Joe and they started talking about computers. Joe is also obsessed with them, learning anything he can by cramming all the knowledge he can find. Keith on the other hand at the time was a Novice with computers, he knew zero to nothing about how to maintain them. Joe quickly taught Keith about all the Antivirus’ available and how to protect his computer, and after taking his advice they became instant friends.
As of now Joe isn’t a Pokemon Trainer, nor does he own any, but that just might change sooner or later.
One of Keith’s greatest annoyances in life is his enemy, Jeremy.
Jeremy is also a twenty year old Caucasian Male, he’s got Blonde hair, Brown eyes, and is very muscular from being on the Football Team. Both of them graduated from West Babylon High School the same year, but have known each other their entire lives. Keith and Jeremy used to be friends in Grade School, playing video games and reading comics, then in Junior High Jeremy started finding Keith too much of a Nerd, so he dumped him as a Friend and started picking on him in School and out of School.
It was at this age Jeremy became a Junior Trainer, catching his first Pokemon; Geodude. Jeremy and Geodude trained together for Football, helping Jeremy become a strong player. Eventually Geodude got strong and Evolved into Graveler. By this time Jeremy was well into High School, and was a big Troublemaker, using his Graveler for bad things like beating up his enemies or breaking into a store one night and stealing items. It was this one particular night Jeremy ran into a rogue Gastly, who haunted the people at night as they walked the dark streets. Jeremy saw this as a great opportunity, Gastly were hard to find around here, and with the power this Gastly had, he could really have a powerful team! Jeremy took his expensive Masterball and threw it at Gastly, catching the ghostly Pokemon. From that time on Jeremy stole many expensive items like jewelry, selling them for a profit. Since Gastly could easily slip through buildings, the local Growlithe and German Shepherds on the K-9 team had trouble sniffing out the culprit, so Jeremy got away clean. Eventually Gastly too evolved; into a powerful Haunter, but not being satisfied with mid evolution, Jeremy to this day has set out to find a trusty Trainer whom will trade his Haunter and Graveler so they can evolve into Gengar and Golem. Keith avoids Jeremy at all costs, not wanting to have to face his powerful Pokemon, at least not yet!
Keith’s family is composed of his Dad, Mom, and eighteen year old Sister Tiffany. He’s also got two pet cats named Flash & Stinky, as we know animals and Pokemon both live on our Planet. Keith’s Sister is very popular in School, the exact opposite of what Keith is. She’s got lots of Friends and plenty of good grades to show, she is currently still attending College. Keith and Tiffany fight quite often, like the usual Brother/Sister relationship, but even with that said they still care about each other.
Keith’s Family currently doesn’t own a single Pokemon, that’s because owning a Pokemon is a big responsibility, and with a small house there isn’t room for many. Keith is hoping to be the first to own a Pokemon, at least in his household.
With his Birthday through, Keith now has to think about what he will do first to become a great Pokemon Trainer. He has yet to catch a Pokemon, so before he can start battling he must accomplish this. He must also map out the areas for Gym battles, and locations of his favorite Pokemon, who live in every part of the United States. Only he can decide what he will make of his Pokemon experience.

Chapter Three
“Keith Gets A Pokemon”
Today was the big day, it was the Thirteenth of November and finally Keith would go out in search of his Pokemon, but which Pokemon to choose?
“There are plenty of Pidgey’s around, but with the cats a Pidgey wouldn’t be a welcome houseguest, then again maybe a Caterpie would be nice?” “Oh wait, there are no Caterpie’s around in the Fall”; thought Keith. “What am I going to do, I just can’t decide on which Pokemon to choose?”
Frustrated and confused, Keith sat down for a few minutes to think of something he could do, there’s got to be a Pokemon out there perfect for him! After some time pondering, Keith came up with a brainstorm; “Instead of finding a Pokemon here, why not travel to a different State and look for one, there must be a good Pokemon somewhere for me.” Keith reviewed his map, looking over each State and it’s Pokemon available, and after some searching, he found what he was looking for!
“There it is, the perfect place, i’m going to Las Vegas baby!” Keith finally found the perfect place for his first Pokemon, but why go to Las Vegas, Nevada? It was the casinos he was after, here he could get his chance to acquire his first Pokemon, Porygon. Keith quickly called his Grandfather, he had promised to take Keith anywhere in the United States to get his first Pokemon, but when he heard Las Vegas was the destination he couldn’t believe his ears!
“Why on Earth Las Vegas Keith”, asked his Grandfather. “Grandpa, at the casinos, one of the prizes at the slots if you get enough money is a Porygon, it’s my favorite Pokemon in the whole World, and what better way to start my training than with my favorite Partner.” You have to admit, Keith seemed pretty determined to get himself a Porygon, and after thinking for so long about it, who could said no? “All right Keith, if this is what you really want, then I’ll take you to Las Vegas, are you sure about this Keith?” “Oh yes I’m VERY sure about this Grandpa”, said Keith. “Ok then Keith, get your things packed were off to Las Vegas, make sure you bring enough clothes since we may have to stay overnight.” “Will do Grandpa will do, Thank You very much I love you Grandpa.” Keith hurried upstairs to pack his belongings while his Grandfather booked two plane tickets to Las Vegas. He gathered his Pokedex, Pokeballs, I.D. card, Drivers License as proof he is old enough to gamble for a Pokemon, a few pairs of clothes, and two-hundred dollars he also got for his Birthday to use as money for the slots, he was all set for Vegas!
Hours later Keith’s Grandfather arrived with his luggage to pick up Keith and drive him to the airport. Keith hugged his Mom and Dad before he left, thanking them for helping him to become a Trainer. They waved goodbye as Keith and his Grandpa headed for the airport to board the plane.
The drive to the airport was tense, Keith was happy to have the opportunity to go to Vegas, but winning his Porygon wasn’t a sure thing, he would have to do really well to earn enough coins. Before he knew it they had arrived at the airport on this cold day, and ready to board the plane. The flight was very crowded, Keith wasn’t the only one planning a trip to Vegas, the others had the same plan, except most were going to win themselves some money. Keith and his Grandfather settled down for nap, it would be a six hour flight, but being Keith woke up early he hadn’t slept much from all the excitement. Keith looked over the brochure to see the prices of the Pokemon. To win an Abra would cost one-hundred coins, a Clefairy five-hundred coins, a Pinsir two-thousand coins, a Dratini four-thousand coins, and finally, a Porygon six-thousand coins. To win one the quick way, he would have to get two wins of “777”, three-thousand coins each win. Or, six “RRR” wins, one-thousand coins each win. Three Pikachu or Slowpoke would get him one-hundred coins, it would take a lot of those to win!
After the six hour flight, Keith and his Grandfather finally landed in Nevada, they would have to take a short limo ride to Las Vegas, the ride cost his Grandfather two-hundred dollars, if Keith does win he should really give some of his win to his Grandfather to be nice, or at least buy him a drink.
The long, white limo appeared, and their luggage was loaded up, they rode in style to Vegas, this was the first time Keith had ever been here, he was very excited! The Driver had a pet Chatot, it kept saying “Pay up, pay up” to Keith, him and his Grandpa both had a good laugh. Before they knew it they had arrived at the Vegas Casino’s, it was a magnificent sight, bright lights lit the sky, and sounds of people talking filled the air, Keith couldn’t wait to go in!
First the two of them checked into a nearby Hotel, if all goes well they’ll be leaving tomorrow morning. Then they hurried outside to the entrance of the Casino, the sounds filled the air! Keith and his Grandfather were greeted by a huge Man asking for I.D.’s, Keith’s Grandfather showed his and was let in, then Keith was asked. He handed over his Driver’s License and Trainer I.D., the Man asked “So you’re a Pokemon Trainer eh, what brings you to Vegas on this fine night?” Keith replied; “I’m at Vegas to try and win my very first Pokemon, a Porygon.” “ Ah; Porygon, fascinating little Pokemon don’t you say, I wish you the best of luck that you win”, said the Man. “Thank You very much”, replied Keith. He was then given back his I.D.’s and slowly walked into the gambling room.
Inside were thousand’s of People, all trying to win it big, you could smell the excitement in the air, and Keith too knew exactly how they felt. He followed his Grandfather to the slots, walking past some Poker tables, BINGO, and a Magic Show, what a sight!
Soon he had finally reached the slots, he could feel the sweat pour off his hands, he was both nervous and excited all at once! He had exchanged his two-hundred dollars for one-hundred coins, now to start the gambling! He inserted two coins and pulled the lever, here goes nothing….
The slots stopped, no match, time to try again. He inserted two more coins, hoping for some kind of win, the slots stopped and he looked, he had gotten three Pikachu’s, he now had one-hundred more coins to use! Again he tried, this time the machine started to shake, Keith didn’t know what was happening, then the slots stopped abruptly, he peered at the slots as a siren went off, he had gotten three seven’s, the Jackpot! Three-thousand coins popped out, he was only another three-thousand away from winning his Pokemon! Keith moved to another machine, he had played out the Jackpot on that one, time to try another. Again he played, nothing, so he quickly inserted two more coins as his spirits were set high. One more pull of the lever, and he watched the pictures appear; seven……..seven……Seven, he had won again!!! The siren again went off, Keith had gotten his six-thousand coins for his Porygon, and some to spare! The crowds quickly gathered, how could someone so young win twice on their first night? Keith was an instant star, he was interviewed on the news that night, this was the best night ever, but it wasn't done yet!
After the news got through with him and he got a pat on the back by his Grandfather, Keith headed to the prize redemption counter. “How may I help you?” asked the man at the counter. “I would like to redeem my six-thousand coins for a Porygon, i’m a new Pokemon Trainer and this is my first Pokemon.” Keith showed the man his Trainer I.D. and coins, and the man asked Keith to follow him into the back room. Inside were dozens of Pokeballs, the ones at the top were Porygon, there were many as they were the hardest to win. The man picked up three Pokeballs and released the Pokemon inside.
“Porygon, porygon, porygon”, said the three Porygon. “Wow this is amazing, my first encounter with a Porygon!” said Keith. “Which one should I choose?” Keith observed the three Pokemon. The first Porygon bullied the other two, trying to get Keith’s attention, Keith didn’t like a bully Pokemon so he moved onto the next one. The second Porygon was very Poised, it was in perfect condition and looked strong, but it was too strong, as it used to belong to another trainer, for such a high level it wouldn’t obey Keith. The last Porygon was shy but not like the other two. It wasn’t a bully, yet it wasn’t all that powerful, and it seemed well mannered. It slowly approached Keith, and gently rubbed against him saying “Porygon” in a soft tone. Keith had found his Pokemon, this was the perfect Porygon! Keith handed in his coins and after Porygon was put in it’s very own Pokeball, Keith and his Grandfather left Vegas to go in their Hotel for the night.
That night Keith and his Grandpa rested, it had been a long and busy day, but it was well worth it. Keith was too tired to do anymore, so the both of them decided to head into bed for the night, tomorrow morning they would fly back home, and Keith could learn more about his new Pokemon Pal; Porygon.

Chapter Four
“Let The Training Begin!”
“Keith wake up, it’s time to go!” said his Grandfather. “Huhhhh, uhhh, is it Morning already?” asked Keith. “Yes Keith its Morning already, and if we don’t hurry up we’ll miss our eight o’clock flight, I set my alarm an hour late accidentally, you’ve got to hurry up and get dressed!
Keith leaped out of bed and hurried to his suitcase to retrieve his clothes, his hair was a wreck and after throwing on his clothes looked like a bum, but he didn’t want to miss the flight home! Him and his Grandfather quickly gathered their things and hurried out of the Hotel to meet the limo waiting outside. Their luggage was loaded and they stepped inside to sit down and be driven to the airport.
Their ride was rather short, and they arrived at the airport by seven fifty-five. “Whew we made it, and with five minutes to spare”, said Keith, exhausted and out of breath. Keith and his Grandpa loaded their luggage onto the plane and took their seats, but Keith’s stomach was grumbling out of hunger, time to eat! “Excuse me Ma’am, by any chance you wouldn’t happen to have any bagels for breakfast?,” asked Keith. She replied; “Why yes Sir we do, which would you like?” “I’ll take a plain bagel with cream cheese and apple juice to drink, and my Grandfather here will have a cinnamon raisin bagel, with margarine please”, said Keith. “Your Breakfast will be here soon, and enjoy your flight!”
A loud snoring filled the plane, and boy was it noisy, it was getting louder and louder. Keith turned around only to see his Grandfather sound asleep on the plane snoring loudly, he nudged him gently; “Grandpa you’re snoring, wake up breakfast will be here soon, Said Keith” “I must have dozed off, wake up you Old Man”, he said to himself, Keith chuckled.
Suddenly a loud roar stirred up the Passengers, the plane’s engine had started, it would be taking off soon. Keith and Grandpa were handed their bagels and drink, they scarfed down the food like animals as the plane took off down the runway and into the air. Once they got fed up and settled in, they could relax for the rest of the flight. Keith gazed out the window, it was a beautiful November Morning, the sun was out and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Below them was the last glance at the many buildings of Las Vegas, which slowly got smaller and smaller as they gained altitude.
Keith was bored, he realized he had forgotten all about Porygon! He couldn’t release it on the plane, but he could do some research on what moves it knows by aiming the infrared sensor on the Pokedex at the Pokeball containing Porygon. Keith pulled out the Pokedex from his pocket and opened it, he went to the menu for Pokemon attacks. Then he aimed the Pokedex at the Pokeball, and waited for “Searching” mode to pick up the data. Finally the search was complete, Keith listened to the data: “Porygon, the Virtual Pokemon, four attacks known; Conversion, Tackle, Conversion 2, Sharpen.” “Hmm what does Sharpen do?” the Pokedex replied; “Sharpen, Normal move type, reduces the polygon count and raises attack.” “So that’s what it does, i’ve always wondered about it”, thought Keith. He closed his Pokedex and put it away, then shut his eyes to take a nap, maybe when he wakes up they’ll have landed?
“May I have your attention please, this plane bound for West Babylon will be landing very shortly, please gather all your things on the seats and wait for further instructions”, said the Pilot. Keith and Grandpa slowly woke up and stretched, they had a few good hours of sleep and felt refreshed after the long flight. “So are you ready to start your training today Keith?” asked his Grandfather. “I’m more than ready Grandpa, Porygon and I will make a great team, I’m already learning it’s attacks so we can be ready for our very first battle!” Before they knew it the plane had already begun its decent, they will be landing any minute now. Soon Keith could see the runway from his window, and then the bumping of the plane’s wheels could be felt as it skidded on the runway. Finally the plane stopped and the engine shut off, they were back in West Babylon.
Keith grabbed his luggage and his Grandpa’s and they walked out the plane into the airport. There his Grandfather found the car and loaded up the luggage.
Shortly after Keith arrived back at his house, he couldn’t wait to tell his Parents about his great adventure at Las Vegas! Keith walked in the house and was greeted by his Mom, Dad, and two cats. “Hey Son how are you, how did your trip go?” asked his Dad. “The trip was fantastic, I had a great time with Grandpa!” “We had a great time, but my wallet didn’t since I emptied it out on the trip,” said Keith’s Grandpa always joking around. “Well I better head back to Syosset, I’ve got to take a bath tonight”, said Grandpa. “Ok Grandpa thank you for taking me I had a great time.” Keith’s Family waved as his Grandpa drove off home.
“So Keith did you win anything while at Vegas, tell us about your day”, said his Parents. “We’ll, we got to Vegas fine and I was amazed at all the lights there, it was so crowded and a lot of the people were having so much fun.” He continued… “Grandpa and I decided to play the slots and at first I had no luck, then I started winning a few bucks, but then the most amazing thing happened, I won the Jackpot!!!” “That’s amazing Son how much did you win?” “Wait, there’s more!” “I won the Jackpot once, but then I moved to another slot machine and won again, it was the most amazing thing, I was on the News and everything, and if you must know I won around six-thousand coins, which allowed me to win my first Pokemon; Porygon!” “That’s amazing Keith, were so proud of you, do you mind showing us Porygon?” asked his Parents. “Sure, come out Porygon!” Keith tossed the Pokeball and a white light emerged followed by Porygon. “Porygon”, said the little Pokemon. “That’s so cute, we’ve never seen that Pokemon before” said his Parents. Keith’s cats on the other hand did not like the new houseguest, they hissed and growled at the little Pokemon, but all Porygon wanted to do was be friends with them, eventually they’ll come around to it. “We’ll I hate to break up the Family meeting, but I really must go out and start my Pokemon training, I can’t wait any longer”, said Keith. “Ok then Keith we won’t hold you up any longer, Have fun!”
Keith put on his jacket and after returning Porygon to it’s Pokeball, headed out in search of some Pokemon to battle. Looking around on this cold day not many Pokemon were to be found, then he discovered a tiny Rattata rummaging through some garbage.
“Porygon Go!” said Keith. Porygon emerged from it’s Pokeball, ready to fight. “Now Porygon, this is your first battle, let’s see what your made of, don’t go easy on the Rattata.” “Porygon, use Sharpen.” Porygon’s body glistened, it’s body armor got a little tougher. Rattata turned around, it’s body hairs stood up as if to show it’s fear, it was observing Porygon. “Porygon quickly, use Sharpen again.” Porygon’s body was even tougher, now it was ready for some action! “Porygon use Tackle!” Porygon leaped into action racing head on for the tiny Rattata, then right before it could strike, Rattata used its Quick Attack to avoid Porygon by running behind a tree, Porygon missed Rattata and like a dart being thrown Porygon hit the tree head on, getting itself stuck right in the trunk. Rattata used Tail Whip on Porygon, an unfair hit, and ran off before Keith could come over. “Porygon are you ok, I’m so sorry for this.” Porygon wasn’t hurt, as a matter of fact it was ready for more! Keith tugged on Porygon to dislodge it from the tree trunk, then they went in search for another opponent.
Keith held Porygon and walked around the corner to the nearby Park, it was a large place where the local kids played Soccer and Tennis, it also had a small forest, which hopefully had some Pokemon. Keith searched through the baron forest covered in recently fallen leaves, he spotted some squirrels gathering acorns, and noticed this one particular squirrel having trouble moving a large acorn. Keith moved closer for a better look, to his surprise this squirrel hadn’t found an acorn at all, but instead a Seedot! “Ok Porygon we’re going to try this one more time, are you ready?” “Porygon” it shouted with excitement. “Ok Porygon go for it, Tackle!” Porygon raced towards the Seedot, the squirrel raced away up the tree chattering, angry Porygon was attacking it’s “nut”. Porygon hits the Seedot head on, sending it flying into the air before it hits the ground. “Seedot”, yells the angry Seedot who is having a very bad day. Seedot uses harden while Keith tells Porygon to use Sharpen. Seedot then uses Bide, uh oh, better hurry before it unleashes it’s attack! “Porygon Tackle again quickly.” Porygon hits Seedot for a second time, slamming it into a nearby tree. “Porygon Tackle one more time, that should do it!” Porygon rushes towards Seedot, but glowing, Seedot unleashes it’s Bide attack, who will come out victorious? Seedot’s Bide attack hit’s Porygon before it has a chance to nab Seedot, Bide sends Porygon slamming to the ground and it faints, another battle lost.
Seedot, weak from battle, rushes off to find a safe hiding place. “Porygon are you ok, you did excellent I’m so proud of you!” Porygon barely responds, so Keith knows what he has to do, he must get to a Pokemon Center. “Porygon Return!” Porygon goes back in it’s ball. Keith runs a block to the nearest Shopping Center, he quickly runs into the Pokemon Center. He’s greeted by a Women with blonde hair, she’s the Nurse, and she became one after going to College for four years learning Pokemon First Aid. “Welcome, may I please see your Trainer I.D. Sir?” “Sure here it is”, said Keith. “Ok here you are, my name is Ashley, what can I do for you Keith now that your registered here?” “My new Pokemon Porygon fainted from a battle, I need it healed please.” “May I please have your Pokemon, it’ll take only a minute.” said Ashley. “Sure here it is” said Keith. A little tune played as Porygon was healed, and soon after Porygon was completely healed! “Thank You very much Ashley!” “Your Welcome have a nice day!”
As Keith walked home he realized who he just met, Ashley graduated High School with him, he thought she was very cute, maybe he should visit here more often, but not for a bad reason. Keith walked home as the day was flying by. His Mom’s Parents were stopping by today to celebrate Keith’s Birthday late, he wonders what they’ll be getting him as a Present, he’ll just have to wait and see!
