Wow, that's just the idea I was looking for! I didn't plan on keeping them Gyms anyway...and the Ravine is just what Pagoda calls it so its not an official name. But the General idea was good. After getting the four medals in Spatia you're let in on a plan of attack. The plan will be to win the trust of Tempora by collecting the four medals and sabotage their base, factory, whatever it it'll be, after learning of their plan. Also, since my computer is a bit downgraded, it might be a while before I make this reality so I can reveal anything I want. Like, I plan on having another organization called the Nigiro, who know of the history of Suecra. There are 18 members;each specializing in each of the Pokemon types and the leader created his own Pokemon for the ??? type. But they do play a minor role, BUT they did create your Riolu. I got the names mixed up, Team Mettle[called that for now] is from Tempora, the more violent and industrial half of Suecra, and Spatia is the peaceful and agricultural half. And in case anyone hasn't noticedyet, Suecra and Nigiro is Arceus and Origin spelled backwards!

You are a 13-year-old Looking for the minun you had befriended in the forest near town and you see a something dark go into a castle and you follow it to see what it is you get locked in and trapped the only other person in there is the person from next door you to have to battle darkrai the other person gives you an eevee when he/she sees that you have no pokemon

To escape the castle.Fight darkrai, fight villains, and win tournaments to get the Space(palkia),time(dialga) and torn(giratina) artifacts

Once you gather the artifacts from the islands head back to darkrais castle and purifie the place so no one will be trapped there again

Then you head out of the castle To find out that the darkness had engulfed your home town

      to be continued ...

You know, there exist things like periods (dots). The reason you don't get reviews is because people are finding it hard to read your post. The text in the upper paragraph for instance. You say there's only one person in the castle: your neighbour. But then a bit further you say "the other person" which would suggest there are more people in the castle. And where do the villains come from if there's only one person in the castle? That puzzles me as well. Another thing: How the hell are you supposed to defeat Darkrai with an Eevee? The only thing I do like is that you're being thrown right into the action, with (hopefully) no annoying professor speeches and stuff. If you want storyline HELP (I'm not an insert coin-get story machine) feel free to PM me.

Actually, no, you're not supposed to. The guy that reposted shouldn't have, and really you shouldn't have either.

If people didn't want to comment on your plot the first time around, why would they want to just because you posted it a second time? And if anybody DOES comment when you repost your plot, it's probably because they find your repost annoying and think that by commenting on the plot, they'll solve the problem by ensuring you won't repost yet again.

            Hm OK my storyline.
You are a kid, about 14, living in a totalitarian controlled society, controlled by Team (insert). They have taken over, and they crush all opposition. They decide what you eat, wear, and do. Basically, you decide this is not the way to live and bust out of your town with the first pokemon you find, (insert.) Now, you're a runaway. Team (insert) has authority in every city, and sometimes they stop you. Basically, I don't want any gyms, the "tests" will be whenever you get caught by the team. I want to have it so there's an "underground railroad" of some sort in every city where you can heal, and get hints on where to go next, and eventually I was thinking there is some sort of ... hideaway, but the team has taken it over, and there's the E4 substitute.
            help?

Good start, I like the basic idea of resistance. Maybe you could feature an entire opposing organization, which you accidentally discover underground somewhere at about one third of the game/hack. They could have secret bases where you can heal your Pokemon. The Gym showdowns could be replaced with Admin battles, but you shouldn't include many of them, just a few. Otherwise the story will get monotone. E4 could be replaced with Admin Elites and the Emperor/Dictator/Boss/whatever title you want to give him (or her). The tension in the game will be maintained because the people are against you as well. At every corner you risk the possibility they can turn you in. Yes, I'd surely want to see more of it. Try letting the story get more depth than this. If you'd like I can help you out.

I'm a little iffy about posting anything here, but it's only so long I can bounce an idea around by myself before it dies, so here goes.

The key thing about the region is that it's under a feudal system. At the head is the King, who lives in the capital city. He appoints Barons to rule over the other cities, which they have absolute control of. In turn, Barons appoint noblemen to control the peasants that toil on the farmland surrounding each city. The routes wind between the settlements. They lead through wilderness that is filled with hungry beasts. Life for the average man is pretty much brutal and miserable and there is no such thing as justice. But! Things might get better?

The player is the son/daughter of one of the Barons. You have just come of age (16-ish?). To prove yourselves worthy of inheriting the family's lands and titles, you are sent on a journey to conquer a few of the smaller barons and increase your family's power. You have to do this sneakily, because if the King finds out that the Barons are fighting with each other he will not be pleased.

Before you leave your father gives you your choice of three Pokemon. Pokemon will be your main (okay, only) weapon. All Barons have a well-trained pack of Pokemon that they sic on intruders. Unlike Gym leaders, they keep a balanced team, but they only use local Pokemon, which may be to your advantage. When you defeat a Baron, you get a ring with their seal on it. This is proof of your victory (like a badge) and also gives you access to some places (also like a badge). Once a Baron falls, your father will quickly send in a puppet ruler to take his place.

Part way through your journey, you meet your older brother, who has been exiled for disgracing the family name. He asks you to join him on his mission of toppling all the heads of power and instituting democracy in the land. Presumably, you say yes. (Of course your brother wants to see himself elected a few years down the road!)

Much of the logic behind your changing sides depends on what you see as you travel through the region. Because you're undercover as a peasant, people treat you as one, and you get to see what the lives of the ordinary people are like. Hopefully you'll have some sympathy for their plight.

So you become a double agent, betraying your family and sparking a really epic war between all the major players that leaves the country fundamentally changed. At one point you'll have to chase the King through the wilderness of the central rainforest. Some legendaries might come into play, I'm not sure.

Now, I have some issues here.

                1. As I remember, in the Middle Ages, people didn't get around much. Travel was expensive, so they were clueless about what was going on even in the next town. This means that, as you travel the routes in the region, you won't meet anyone. That bugs me. It needs fixing.

                2. Likewise, the regular hobby trainers you normally meet everywhere need to be replaced. There isn't much of a middle class here, only the really rich and really poor. Pokemon are used as working animals or as bodyguards. So what kind of pseudo-trainer battles can you expect to encounter?

                3. Does it seem logical that the player isn't given a choice about switching sides? Should saying 'no' be an option, giving the player a rival and creating an alternate ending? I'm concerned that this would mean coding, basically, 2 seperate games.

Questions, impressions, suggestions are all welcome.

It's ok. But it seems like Septo Conquest . Maybe if you alter the storyline a bit , it can be good .

Hmm. I'm working on a big hack project right now, but we're still in the concept stage, since we're creating not only a new region but a new hundred-odd Pokemon to go with it. So I was thinking of doing something smaller on the side, by myself, just for fun...

The idea: You play the part of a Pokemon researcher. You and a team of fellow scientists have set up camp on a large island region that is populated mainly by Dragon and draconic Pokemon; humans are unheard of here, and the Pokemon themselves seem to have set up a primitive form of government, with certain powerful Pokemon holding dominion over each ecosystem. One day, your teammates capture a never-before-seen Pokemon - a small red Dragon. Sensing something amiss, you venture to where they found the creature, and find on the ground an odd medallion. Upon returning to the camp, you find that both your teammates and the mysterious Pokemon have disappeared.

Your quest starts as an effort to find your companions, but becomes greater as you become wrapped up in conflict between the Pokemon kings of this island and uncover information about the island's history. I don't want to reveal a possible ending, in case this ever get anywhere, but...how does it sound? Is it worth taking a stab at?

Yes , its a good idea . You should .

The idea: You play the part of a Pokemon researcher. So you're not a kid? You and a team of fellow scientists have set up camp on a large island region that is populated mainly by Dragon and draconic Pokemon; humans are unheard of here, and the Pokemon themselves seem to have set up a primitive form of government, with certain powerful Pokemon holding dominion over each ecosystem. One day, your teammates capture a never-before-seen Pokemon - a small red Dragon. Sensing something amiss, you venture to where they found the creature, and find on the ground an odd medallion. Upon returning to the camp, you find that both your teammates and the mysterious Pokemon have disappeared. It seems here like you've pissed off the small red Dragon's mother

Your quest starts as an effort to find your companions, but becomes greater as you become wrapped up in conflict between the Pokemon kings of this island
In that case, do the Pokemon superiors act as Trainers and do they use the lower Pokemon as their slaves? and uncover information about the island's history. I don't want to reveal a possible ending, in case this ever get anywhere, but...how does it sound? Is it worth taking a stab at?

It seems like you are writing a story of survival in which the wild Pokemon represent the primitive inhabitants that have a tribe. Another question I want to ask is: How do you heal your Pokemon in the wild? And how do you get items like Pokeballs if you're on your own on the island? I'd like to see where this is going. Remember that you can use the 100-odd Fakemon not only for this hack, but also for any other projects, might this fail. But I'm confident it won't

ok i wanted to get this storyline off my chest for a while ok

You've just turned 10, you're living with your father in the **** region. You're excited to get your first pokemon so you rush over to Prof.***'s lab.
After getting your pokemon, you go back to your house finding that your father has disappeared. A piece of paper is all that's left. Reading it you find out that he was kidnapped my a strange new team,Team ****. It also says you have to find them if you want to see your father again, and it also mentions the legendairies. You've heard about the legends, maybe they could help you find your father. The paper indicates that the first legend location. So you set off on the journey of finding your father with help of the Legendary Dogs=).
Can you find your father in time?
What does this evil team want with him?

yeah the story kinda goes like that.
I had a much similar idea but i left out some parts =P

This story seems pretty generic. I suggest you make it a bit more exciting by mentioning the Team's intention, not all of it, but let them say something like this: "Now we have your father our new world won't be long, har, har!" It's that kinda stuff that makes people interested. Another thing is that it involves your house in a small town + some professor's lab = BORING. Make it more exciting by having lost all your memory for example and being imprisoned in Team ...'s basement right in the beginning

I've been scooping a little idea around in my head for several months, and so I would like to share it with you before it drives me crazy (and hopefully it is something not-generic)

Ahem. I've been thinking about a thingy that I'd like to call "The Legacy of the Unown".
To put it simply, the scenery consists of several islands that together is called The Ash Islands, due to the myth of how they were made (something big exploded and the ash from that explosion turned into islands)
However, at the moment the people that inhabit these Islands are under great pressure.
Terrifying folk-tales have told of the day when the sky did fall down, but when all hope was lost, two pokemon stood up, and eliminated the threat, of what turned out to be a meteorite.
This was thought to be only myths and not truths, until recently.
You see, sadly history repeated itself, and during the last few years several meteorites has crashed into the Islands. A study of the crash sites have also revealed that it did also destroy the very pokemon civilization that prevented this from happening before.
So someone have to step in to do something about this mess. And it's going to be you.

But all this is nothing but background description. What'll hopefully make this story rather interesting is the plot about the Unown. Have you guessed it, maybe?
The Unown are really aliens, that came down to Earth through their spaceships (the meteorites) and tried to adapt themselves to the human culture. However, they misinterpreted it quite a bit.
They saw how much power the written word had over the humans, and they decided that in order to rule over mankind without them noticing, (because if someone doesn't know they are being ruled over, then they won't try to rebel, right?) they'd transform into letters.. only to realize that they cannot transform back on their own.
Now, on these islands there are five crash sites, which also contains some old ruins.
During the game you'll interact with the Unown, and unknowingly help them to be restored to their former power, so they can use a more.. direct approach in their quest for power.
You'll also get to know the Genetic Pokemon Federation, and the D.P.P.; also known as the Drastic Plastic People.
Apart from the inevitable Gym Challenge, (which I personally think is a rather fun thing to do), a little old prophecy will also be fulfilled, part of which goes like this:
"..A body of two, with one mind and goal, will therefore arise, to cease troubles of old.."

(I have also (accidentally) created a way too large map over the Islands, that's ATM stuck on a memory stick that I can't find, but if I can find it I will post it so that you'll see some scenery too it apart from my rather shallow words)
So, what do you think? Any help w/ the storyline would be rather great, if it is not too much to ask.

Hehe, thanks for pointing that one out. I meant THREAT, not thread, I can see how that is a rather grave mistake xD

                                  Spoiler:
But no, you are not the villain.
You just notice that the poor unown need you help, and after you're done resurrecting them, they'll do their best to get rid of you, by burning your body past what any human can ever survive. (Kind of like Darth Vader, BUT: )
This is where the "body of two" and the Genetic Pokemon Federation kicks in. Guess who you're going to merge with in order to get revenge? Hint - An artificially created purplish pokemon with a strong body and no heart at all....

                                    Pokemon 'Fossil' Version
I put apostrophes around the Fossil because it is stupid and should be changed.

                                    Basic Storyline:

You start in Alder town with your mom. The prestigious Professor Ginko invites you to his lab. When you get there, you see the Village Nurse Joy, Prof. Ginko, Gewitter (Ginko's Grandson), and Prof. Ginko's Granddaughter (You name her). He announces he has made a Time Machine, so that he can study ancient Pokemon lost to the Fossil record. All of those there enter it. The machine shakes and lands millions of years ago.

When the Time Machine lands, it breaks and its crystalline power source breaks into 10 pieces. Gewitter will fetch 5, whereas you must get the other 5. The Granddaughter says she'll get the five you want to get.

After you get your starter, the Granddaughter challenges you. After the battle, no matter the outcome, she storms off to the southwest. You must follow her.

Before you get each crystal, the granddaughter challenges you. When you beat her in the battle, she beats you up and you have to drag yourself back to the clearing to be healed.

When all the crystals are back again, talk to Professor Ginko. You must then release all of your captured pokemon EXCEPT for the starter, which came from the future. This is done to preserve the fossil record, making sure the past is altered as little as possible. You go back forward in time and meet with your mom. After doing so, you grow to become the mayor of your city. After seeing the inauguration ceremony, you win the game.

                                    Personalities:
                                    You: Classic mute hero.
                                    Quotes: Your character doesn't talk.

Gewitter: Quiet guy who doesn't talk to you much at all.
Quotes: "... I'll get 5 of them..." "Why are you talking to me...?"

Prof. Ginko: Classic Mad Scientist guy.
Quotes: "It worked! It really worked!" "Amazing! All these Pokemon never known before! This is my life's dream realized!"

Granddaughter: Proud girl who wants to be a pokemon master. She won't let you get the best of her.
"I WILL defeat you! I won't let you outdo me!" "How could you defeat me? It is impossible! (She punches you in the stomach and kicks your nose, and runs off crying.)"

I'm not much of an implementer, I merely hope for somebody who knows how to hack to pick up this idea and put it to good use.

Judging on the name "Gewitter" I'd say you're German, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, your story seems a bit short. Maybe it isn't, but to me it seems so. For instance you have to find 5 crystalline shards in the game and after that your adventure's over, so it's pretty short. You could lengthen it a bit by saying wild Pokemon have taken the shards and scattered them all across the region. Anyway, there are no Trainers except for the granddaughter and Gewitter, so you need something to fill up that gap. (With only wild Pokemon there's not much to achieve and the story tends to get boring). What if (and this is highly hypothetical) some evil organization broke into the Professor's Lab, copied the blueprints and made their own Time Machine. And what if they zapped themselves back in time a lot earlier (say a week or two). They messed up the ecosystem which changed the future directly. So, when you, for instance, have gathered all the shards and you think your adventure's over, think again, because the future's a whole lot different now. Anyway, it's something to think about. Overall the story is a good start. Good luck

I have another storylining idea. After all, what's the number one ROM hacker's credo?
                                        Spoiler:
HINT: It begins with "Don't give", and ends with "up".

Pokemon Odyssey of Dreams (It's a name that sounds like it's been taken, but it's the only one that fits)

Okay, you play as a 39-year-old man (Instead of boy/girl you choose fat/bald. I always hated how you're always a teenager who is good-looking and physically fit, and how the games never pay attention to how the other half lives) who's always wanted to be a Pokemon Master and to go on an adventure, similarly to many people. The problem is, you've already settled down. You have a wife, Mona, and a daughter, Gracie, and your new adventure is taking care of them. Nevertheless, you decide to leave, and you recklessly abandon it all to make your childhood dreams come true.

You find a boat pulled up to the little island village where you live. On it is a ship captain whose goal is to find the treasure of the pirate captain Fearow Fly. Identifying with this man's dream of glory, you join his crew.
A Drowzee is found having stowed away on the ship, and you catch it with a PokeBall found washed up on the beach. The Drowzee, attracted to your dreams, joins you.

However, on your journey to Kanto to get to the Pokemon League, you get... sidetracked. Everything that can go wrong, does go wrong (It's like Murphy's law, only the protagonist is named Murray). The ship steers too closely to the Kerfluda Triangle, and you wash up on the shore of an uncharted island. It's filled with prehistoric Pokemon. You're on the island of Milagus, otherwise known as the Island that Time Forgot. On the island, you find a Celebi, who's trapped on the island, because it's a time traveller. No time, no travel.

Celebi never joins your team, but when the Captain catches a Lapras which carries you and Celebi off the island, Celebi appears in many places in a "Celebi's Healing Hut", which replaces the Pokemon Center.

Milagus isn't the only detour you take, however. You keep trying to get to Kanto, you really do, but certain events, genuine bad luck, and people ridiculing a middle-aged dude trying to become a Kanto Champion get in the way constantly.

Think of this hack as a cross between the Pokémon Animé, Homer's Odyssey, and... Part Pixar's "Up", 'cause he's an old guy who goes on an adventure. But just a little.

For instance, you and the ship captain are all set to go to Kanto, but you see an island with a Gym, and you decide to challenge it. However, the Gym Leader, while technically a Kanto Gym Leader, was assigned the gym on the remote island of Tenne just so that the Kanto League would be rid of him. There, he bred the native Pidgeys on the island for size, power, speed, intelligence, and ferality. When you challenge him, he becomes so paranoid that he commands his Pidgey army to attack. This attack scares away the Ship Captain, leaving you to find your own way off the island.

There are much more story arcs than that, though.

The main story involves an evil team that started out as a biker gang, and aptly named itself Team Sprocket. Eventually, they branched out and became a full-fledged criminal enterprise. Giovanni was once their member, but he left and decided to create a cheap rip-off of the team. He picked a name that makes no sense and is only a knock-off of the word "Sprocket". Seriously though, the Sprockets are glad for this sudden underestimation. Everyone thinks the Sprockets are as lame as the Rockets, when, in reality, the Sprockets make the Rockets look like Clefairies.

Their ultimate plan is to summon a being called Dakurai (described as being "a Pokémon that shouldn't exist... from a dark future... where Eevee has seven evolutions... and the grass one looks ugly..."), and amplify its sleep- and nightmare-inducing powers to wreak incredible havoc and gather enough wealth from fitfully sleeping civilians to create a new Weapon Pokémon.

(The first weapon Pokémon created was Slowfoe, created by having a Cloyster bite Slowpoke's tail instead of a Shellder. The second one is Slowtwo [pronounced slow-TWOH, to rhyme with Slowmo and Slowbro], a Mewtwo parody involving a Cloyster biting a Slowpoke's head. Brains and Power. It uses PSI powers to hold up its head, similarly to Alakazam, only Slowtwo's Cloyster makes him have a heavier head, and, thus, greater power.)

Along the way, you encounter your "fan club", which really consists of a bunch of kids who love to laugh at how foolish you look, trying to stand up for your dreams (You also look foolish because I've replaced the bicycle with a super hero cape, as there is a super hero story arc in this hack too).

THIS SPOILER CONTAINS STUFF THAT MIGHT RUIN THE HACK'S GAMEPLAY IF I EVER MAKE IT. CLICK WITH CAUTION.
                                        Spoiler:

When you finally get to Kanto, you find out that the Pokemon League was disbanded, and that Pokemon Battling is considered unethical by the Kanto Pokemon Rights Comission. Your dream is a shambles, so you decide to go home. This also takes a while.

On the way back, you get abducted by pirates. More specifically, the crew of the supposedly long-dead pirate captain, Phillip "Fearow" Fly. However, upon closer scrutiny, the captain is actually... YOUR DAUGHTER?! Yep, it's true; Fearow Fly passes his title on to whoever he finds worthy of the title, "Scourge o' the Seas". With you gone for so long, Gracie, devoid of paternal guidance, decided to become an amateur criminal who unknowingly killed a member of Fly's crew. Surprisingly, the Fearow Fly was ecstatic. He was thinking of retiring anyway.

When you get home, you find out that your wife gave up on you and remarried. When you left, she was incredulous. Then incredulousness turned into exasperatedness, exasperatedness turned into fury, and fury turned into hatred. There's nothing left for you to live for. Your dream, your family... even your starter Pokémon. You don't have any real Pokémon training skill; Drowzee just followed you because it likes the taste of fresh and futile dreams.

(There is a secret happy ending, though. To find out what it is, click the spoiler.)
                                        Spoiler:
You go to Celebi's All Natural Herbal Tea Bar, talk to Celebi, and get it to take you back in time to battle the Elite Four. However, the badges you got (all eight from one shady trainer for the low, low price of ¥9800) were counterfeit. The security guard stops you and you explain who you are. The security guard is impressed as she had a dream to be a Pokemon Master, but she never acted on it. Turns out you and the guard have a lot in common, and you start going out.

That's a nice story, Regigiygas. I saw the spoiler... neat.

                                          As for me:

You are a boy or girl on a small island. You and your sibling (the other player character) go to the temple on the island's mountain, where you witness an evil team make off with Regirock. A professor stops you and gives you a starter Pokemon. You return home to see the professor, who gives you a Pokedex and sets you off on a generic journey to collect badges and a not so generic journey to collect legendary trios. It's basically standard Pokemon with a very heavy and restrictive plot.

                                            Nice story Wiimeiser.

                                            My story:

You, Ash Ketchum, have just recently arrived in Hoenn. At Prof. Birch's laboratory, an older looking Jesse, James, and a Persian appear from a green portal. They claim to be from the future and they had come back to the past to steal the most powerful pikachu of all time, your Pikachu. They steal it and jump back into the portal. You follow them, after Prof. Birch gives you one of the starters.

You arrive at the Littleroot City Pokemon Center 20 years in the future. You have found out that a lot has changed. Team Rocket has taken over the region, and it's new leaders; Jesse, James, and Persian, rule it as dictators. Sootopolis City has been changed into the Dictatorial Office, where the dictators reside and rule the region. It's gym has been relocated to Lilycove.

You meet an older Prof. Birch who tells you to head to Sootopolis and recapture Pikachu. But you must make yourself stronger by taking on the Elite Four Challenge first. You decide to take the challenge, and heads to Petalburg City where Max (Norman, the former gym leader's son) is the new gym leader. He battles you and you won. He tells you that the gym leaders have formed an opposition group against Team Rocket and asks you to join them. You agree and the two of you set off to the other gyms. You arrive at the Rustboro Gym to find it empty. All gyms are empty. When you arrive at Meteor Falls, you find all the other gym leaders fighting Team Rocket grunts. You and Max help. The grunts retreat and the gym leaders welcome you into the group. You battle them one by one to gain experience and make your pokemon stronger.

Once strong enough, you and the gym leaders find out that Team Rocket hs stolen the two legendary orbs and plan to take over Kanto, Johto and Sinnoh as well. You arrive at the Underwater Cavern too late, Kyogre and Groudon have been awoken. They fight the battle inside the Cave of Origin. The gang try to find Rayquaza to stop the fight only to find out that it has been captured by Team Rocket. The team, along with the Elite Four and the new Champion, May, head towards Sootopolis but it is surrounded by a very strong wall. All of you send out your pokemon, then <name>, the legendary pokemon of unity appears. He destroys the wall and you go inside. Inside, you find Mewtwo who senses your power and tries to battle you. <name> battles Mewtwo instead telling you to free Rayquaza. You do and when you return you see that Mewtwo has defeated <name>. Rayquaza battles Mewtwo and wins. It brings Kyogre and Groudon back to sleep.

Team Rocket is overthrown and sent to jail while you are reunited with Pikachu. The gym leaders, knowing of your dream to become the greatest pokemon master, gives you the badges that you earned when you defeated them at Meteror Falls. You battle the Elite Four and win. You battle and win against May as well. After being the Champion, Steven (the Champion at hte present time) appears. He has travelled to the future using Celebi. He knows everyhing that has happened. He challenges Ash saying: you have defeated the future champion but can you defeat the present one? You win and using Celebi, Steven teleports you back to the present.

                                              Spoiler:
4 Years ago- One day when you are on your way to school (the real world), you trip over a rock (man, your pretty clumsy). You hit your head on something on the way down. When you finally wake up, you don't know where you are, but you couldn't see the road anywhere. You look around, then start walking up the hill you thought you fell on. When you get up the hill you see a person. You ask him where he was, and to your surprise he says route 401. He sees that you are all dirty, so he takes you with him to his mothers house... You where 10 back then...

Present day- You are turning 15 today, the age that you are supposed to get your pokemon. The problem is, only people that are citizens of the Pakira region can get pokemon from Professor Yew. Since you live with RIVAL (the person first person you met) and his mother, she makes you work and pay off a sort of rent. You are an employee at the local poke-mart. One day on your way to work, you see an abandoned castform, and it looked like it was in bad shape. Since you are not supposed to have a pokemon, you hide it in a crevice, and lay it in your blanket. You sneak into work, get a potion, and sneak out again. You give the castform the potion and it wakes up. It gets up and follows you to work. When you get to work, you say you were late because of a storm that popped up. Your manager believes you because all around the Pakira region, which normally is cold and cloudy, but never rains. But ever since a couple of months ago, it has randomly gone from rain, to sunny, to having a sandstorm, to nothing, in less than an hour. When you leave work, you get a premier ball, and put castform in it, so you can hide it, and it will still heal.

The next day your foster mother has a surprise for you. She told you that the finally the request for citizenship through. All you have to do, is beat the 8 gyms. Since this happened, you decided to show her the castform. She said that was perfect and that you
should go to professor Yew, and get a pokedex. You do and he sends you off with a pokedex and 5 pokeballs. When you leave town, you run into your RIVAL and he has a lvl 5 Psyduck (They can only have cloud nine, not damp. Same with Golduck).

Later in the game you encounter the evil team- team storm, whose aim is to capture the 4 legendaries with the ability to control the weather (Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, and Tyranitar, who I change to have the same base stat total as Kyogre and Groudon)

Ok this is for my hack, pokemon storm, is there anything that i should change?

Why do you start out in the real, Pokémon-less world? Does that tie in to the plot frequently? Is the entire plot a dream?
