Salamence does the same thing with intimidate, but I can take care of them with other Pkmn. After one Intimidate Blaziken's Att becomes 245, still enough to hurt Gyara and Mence with Stone Edge. Probably not KO, but hurt.

EDIT: I got sniped by teh sims =]
I just noticed it was special. Damn.

So, who should I breed with for Drill Peck, possibly Empoleon??

Male empoleon and female skarmory would work right?

And I do plan on getting impish btw.

Trust me, Drill Peck is a bad move on Skarmory. It doesn't do enough damage,& you WILL get set up on, while you do next to little damage to your opponent.

Any better suggestions? Iv'e seen many here dropping Psychic as it has poor coverage, so I did so as well. Shadow Ball is a OHKO on Banette, right?
Here you go...I actually used this in advance, and it worked wonders.

What works in Advance may not work here. Jynx is still pretty darn fragile, & Physical attacks hits much, much harder this generation. Her weakness to fighting & Pursuit, which are often on the same Pokemon, won't be nullified with reflect, so I highly suggest changing it. Lovely Kiss could shut down all couters, so there's a replacement

Psychic type means fight type moves are nuetral.

Still, it is fragile, & I'm sure that Jynx's fighting neutrality won't help her take a Close Combat.

Agreed (About the fragility, not the owned part ;)).

I myself have only used jynx once, and that was as a special sweeper, and had mixed success. I've hear posetive stuff about it's support sets in UU, but cannot see a reflect set working this gen. As sims has said, everything hits so much harder now, even with reflect it will struggle to cope.

That is where Roar comes in again.

They try to set up and I use Roar, when they switch in/out it removes all boosted stats.

Plus Roar forces the switch which means Spikes will do more damage to them.

But if you can still find a way that Drill Peck is not good, feel free to suggest a new move.

Taunt is all too common nowadays, you cannot afford to be reliant on roar to scare away your problems.

Ok,now here's a realistic senario.

Gyarados uses Taunt!
Skarmory can't use Roar after the Taunt!
Gyardos uses Dragon Dance
Skarmory uses Drill Peck
ROFL,LERN 2 PLAY, NEWB!!!

Sorry, always wanted to say that.

But without Brave Bird, you leave yourself wide open for Taunters, or even other bulky pokemon, like Tangrowth, who can just drain you of HP with Leech Seed.

EDIT:NOOOOO YAH BEAT MEH

What's his name, Staraptor.

If you're GONNA breed, I'd also advise you to breed Whirlwind on him. Roar cannot hit pokemonthat has soundproof for an ability. However, those Pokemon with SoundProof are few & far between, so it doesn't matter. Still, Staraptor gets both Whirlwind AND Brave Bird,so you could just kill two birds with one stone. Haha.

If I rememeber right, it onces took a Clefable's Meteor Mash without Reflect on.
Is it true that the mategame changed alot, but the fact it, it was me to use Flamethrower on Salamance all the time in advance, and today it's one of the most popular moves on it-even thought I would switch to Fire Fang if Draco Meteor is used.
And this is also a way to force a opponent to switch into one of the strong physical sweepers you are talking on and get 2 CMs. Then they will be OHKO, and if not, Reflect will prevet it from beeing OHKO itself.
So the set doesn't work against Sucker Punch Absol and other extreme-attack super-effective pokemon. No set would stop Sucker Punch Absol from OHKOing Jynx. There is no pokemon without counters.
But, anyway, I will look at different sets and choose the one that suits the rest of the team. Just answer me-do you think Shadow Ball over Psychic is good? Does it OHKO Banette and Rotom?

Clefable is hardly the most pessing attacking force you'll come against. Heck, most of the time it is played with no Att EV investment at all.
Using salamence, a sweeper whose competance has not changed for the worse this gen, as an example is completely irrelevant. Plus you weren't alone, we all were using flamethrower/fire blast on our special mences back in the day.
Absol is just one of the many pokes who rapes jynx, especially in UU. The majority of physical attackers existing in that tier are fighters (Hitmonlee, hitmonchan, primeape, toxicroak, poliwratch, and so forth) and will as such have strong fight STABs at their disposal. The point remains that jynx is too frail and lacks the resistances to take physical attacks this gen, even with reflect.
I would use shadow ball over psychic. SE moves put bigger hurst on compared to nuetral STABed ones. I'm too tired to run the calcs, but you can be sure they sting more.

What?

You mean the Cleable with piss poor attack, used an unstabbed Meteor Mash? Must have also been a poor trainer.
Is it true that the mategame changed alot, but the fact it, it was me to use Flamethrower on Salamance all the time in advance, and today it's one of the most popular moves on it-even thought I would switch to Fire Fang if Draco Meteor is used.
What's your point? Just because a few things stayed the same, doesn't mean the metagame did't rapidly change. This is what I mean by getting used to it. Sure, Mence still uses flamethrower, so what? That doesn't mean that physical moves doesn't run crazy.
And this is also a way to force a opponent to switch into one of the strong physical sweepers you are talking on and get 2 CMs. Then they will be OHKO, and if not, Reflect will prevet it from beeing OHKO itself.
Uh, no. I switch while you use Reflect, you still get KO'edby most physical attackers. I also don't see how you got two CMs. You use it, I switch. You use it again, I wipe you out. Or, use Reflect while I switch. I'll still wipe you out.
So the set doesn't work against Sucker Punch Absol and other extreme-attack super-effective pokemon. No set would stop Sucker Punch Absol from OHKOing Jynx. There is no pokemon without counters.
And you point? As said, this is exactly what I mean by studying more. Reflect DOES NOT help Jynx survive much, it is too frail. The major game is physical attacks, and there are many more "extreme attack" pokemon. Lovely Kiss, or even Substitute, wil at least help you get those/
But, anyway, I will look at different sets and choose the one that suits the rest of the team. Just answer me-do you think Shadow Ball over Psychic is good? Does it OHKO Banette and Rotom? After a CM, yeah.

That is all very flawed logic.

But, personally, I find Calm Mind very useful on it and want to abuse it as much as I can. I needs protect from unexpected hits while setting up. Notice I said unexpected.
And do you think Shadow Ball is a good idea? It is somewhat a mimic of the standart Mewtwo set-even Mewtwo doesn't use Psychic anymore:
http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/mewtwo
Quote:
NameItemNatureCalm Mind + Taunt

Leftovers / Expert Belt / Life Orb Timid MovesetEVs~ Calm Mind
~ Taunt
~ Aura Sphere
~ Ice Beam / Shadow Ball
42 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Mewtwo can Calm Mind up and Taunt away any attempts to phaze, Psych Up, status, or otherwise interfere with its setup, thanks to its blistering Speed. Taunt's new and improved duration of two to four turns makes a Recover-less Mewtwo better than it used to be, as you are no longer forced to Taunt every other move. Ice Beam and Aura Sphere hit the vast majority of the Uber metagame, but you'll need Shadow Ball to badly hurt opposing Mewtwo, Deoxys-D and Ghost Arceus.
Leftovers is the safe choice, although you may need a boosting item to OHKO Tyranitar, as many of them are designed to survive a +1 Aura Sphere. Expert Belt offers a very good chance of a OHKO, while Life Orb guarantees the kill.
On a second thought, I could just as well try Taunt on Jynx...

We never said Calm Mind was useless, we said Reflect was useless. & Magicarp is unexpected. My point? Uexpected doesn't=sucess, not by a long shot. I love unexxpected sets, but they should still work.

We said Shadow Ball is fine. Jynx is in a different tier thanMewtwo, so she can't afford to mimick Mewtwo.

Jynx does not take well to taunt, because as already said 20,000 times it's too frail to take attacks.

EDIT: Sims beeted me lol

I see this happening a lot :P

~Wish? Lovely Kiss? Psychic?

And I'm still not sure how can it even CM without Reflect and defense EVs...even with 31 IVs, it will have a stat of 106 defense-less the Blissey!

That is why Smogon gave Substitute to Jynx over Reflect. Plus, you could put the supposed counter to sleep with Lovely Kiss, & then set up.

But as we said >9000 times, it does not matter whether or not you use Reflect, you are still frail defensively. At best, non stabbed moves are barely a 2HKO. And when I say barely, I mean 70->99.99%.

But when I tried this set it didn't fell so quickly...3HKO weren't so rare...I just don't get it...what kind of sweepers are you reffering to?
My plan is to breed Smoochum with a Sableye for Calm Mind and Shadow Ball. Is there any other useful move it can pass it?
And can I know why do you call Jynx "she"? When I learned English, I was taught all non-humans are to be reffered as "it".
