hmm would it seem too cliché if someone said they met their spouse in a pokémon forum? (actually it'd be pretty ironic here)

no idea how my parents met all I know is that they went to the same college

I have no clue how my Mum and Dad met unless I forgot or something... now that I don't talk to either of them I can't even ask them. But I do know that my Mum met her... other partners through her current partners at that time.

... I really do not want to grow up like her. XD

My parents met at a bar. (b")b Pretty sure dad was drinking with a group of friends, and mum was just hanging out with her friend. Well, anyway. Mum's friend saw dad and wanted to ask for his phone number but was too scared to ask, so my mum did it for her. Dad said he wouldn't give her friend his number, but he'd give mum his number. I'm sure her friend was really pleased about that. \o/ Anyway, dad was in a band and mum was a model. They married when mum was 18 and dad was 20. Then David came, and then I came 2 years later.

Such a wonderland story. :'D

Yeah, I'm Christian... but I don't go to church or anything. Bowling took over my sundays. Which turns out good... church was boring. I used to pray as a kid though, but now I just forget to do so, since bed is a time for thoughts, not praying. XD;

When I was smaller I thought church was really boring too, and I sued to pray religiously, and eventually stop going to church.

Eventually I was feeling lost and empty, so one day I went along to the church my Dad goes to, then sometime during that year I gave my life back to Christ finding that its about having a relationship with him rather than going to church and praying like it was a job. And you knoew what? Church is never boring. It can depend what type of church you are going to, for example, this video is of a church like mine but on a larger scale:

Church isn't interesting because yeah, we learn about facts about religion, but, those facts haven't even been proven... nobody has proof that God exists, or that the events of the bible weren't just bias towads God. Though technically everything in the world is bias... but I don't think that learning something in church could really help. By meeting/talking/communicating with God somehow, then that would be interesting, but church... it's just unreliable history.

-Had history today so can't stop thinking about reliability of sources-

And yeah, youtube links are allowed last time I checked... which was long ago, but yeah.

The whole "Church" has a relly bad image, mainly fuled by Regious church go'ers. Like I said in my previous post not all churches are "boring" take a look at the video I posted.

Yeah, I go to church, but I'm not sure if I can believe a book that claims the world is eight thousand years old.

I go to church and can certainly believe a book that's been transcribed a few billion times over the past 2000 years and still doesn't have anything missing from it. as for church itself I actually like going to mine, it's not at all boring. sure we play contemporary music and my pastor throws a few jokes into his sermon, but really you cannot judge all churches the same. that's like judging all Christians like that one weird Bullhorn guy at public events who stands and basically condemns everyone passing him unless they take his pamphlet. Not all Christians are like that, most just want to be your friend and show the love of Christ through themselves.

Mm, I haven't been to church in about 3 or 4 years. I was raised Catholic but my family isn't very religious at all anymore. I don't believe in the Christian doctrine, but I did go to a religious school and a fair amount of friends are religious, so I can certainly respect that. :B

I... I hate going to church though. I've aaaalways found it boring. XD;

I was also raised Christian. Everyone in my family is religious, except me.
I always find them praying and going to church and stuff.

I definitely don't believe in everything in the bible, or at least I'm not very convinced about some things.. but I do believe in god and jesus.. just not in the church.

EDIT: Btw, I haven't been to church in like 5 months now.
Before, I used to go because some my friends had to drag me there, but I would sit there, I wouldn't pray, just staring at the clock...

I was raised Christian up until I was about 9, then everyone in my family stopped going to church because, as my mom pointed out "Dude, it's lame."

I'm not religious at all right now, and to be honest I don't really believe in "God," so I could be classified as an atheist I guess..I'm not gonna go my whole life devouting myself to something that might not even exsist. There are so many religions out, all claiming to be "the right one," goin at war with eachother in the name of their god, mindlessly trying to convert people to be like them, threatening "Hell" in response to their rejection of a religion.

I remember once when i was about 8 and i went to CCD (Catholic sunday-school..which had taken place on a thursday xD) and the teacher I had was describing hell to a bunch of little kids, as if she'd been there. It was aweful, dude, a bunch of pre-adolescent kids in elementary school don't need to hear about how their flesh is gonna burn in fire if they don't agree with everything in the bible. Oh, then there was that problem with abortion later that year..Most of us at such a young age hadn't even known what that was, and the teacher was describing to us how it was when a doctor would "kill" in unborn fetus inside the mother's womb. Yeah, um..It was pretty effed up what happened there.

That was just my church, though, I'm not generalizing all Christians like that. Your religion is your own personal choice. if you believe in God, good for you, if not, it doesn't matter. I'll respect your opinion either way..just don't be one of those hardcore southern devout-christians who tries to mindlessly convert everyone they see, threatening them with "damnation" or whatever, and we won't have a problem :]

My family would do the same to me, and some of my friends too. They try and force me to go to church. Its okay that they have their beliefs and I respect that yet they dont respect that I also have my own beliefs
