WTF. XD If you ever go to Mexico City, you'll see how bad the crime rate is there and realize how much better the U.S. is in that aspect.
Well, seeing as I didn't go there, I was basing my opinion off of the part of Mexico that I did visit. >_>;

I'm sure that Mexico has its bad parts, what place doesn't? I know I feel safe in many parts of America, I was simply saying I felt safer in Mexico than Los Angeles. :/

Mexico has one of the worst crime rates in the world for a stabilized country. There's also lots of corruption in the police force, I can personally attest to that. Sure, some parts are nice, but those are hard to find and are usually in the more rural neighborhoods. Los Angeles is a pretty bad city itself though, I don't think I'd want to live there, or in most parts of Mexico. I'll just stick to the north.

I like it where I am in Georgia. Low crime rate (where I'm at), I'm not that far from a mall, form tons of stores and such. And if I have to drive then I'm not all that far off from Atlanta if I need something big (like drugs XD). So I'm good around here, and it'll be really really hard to pull me away from here (all my family is also here).

Wow... remind me to not ask you about GA...... ever.... XD

We're all land?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta
"As of July 2006, the city of Atlanta had a population of 486,411 and a metropolitan population of 5,138,223. Residents of the city are known as Atlantans."
Atlanta is 132.4 square miles of nothing but city.

We have no "congestion", no "streets"?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Atlanta_75.85.jpg
And what you see there isn't that bad for traffic... go there at rush hour.... you'll be bumper to bumper for hours and hours (when dad worked down there he was in traffic.... as in not moving... for 4 hours each day).

So yea.... you were saying? XD

Yeah.. but where's your actual city? Apartments? That's just a highway. Where can people hang out on the highway? A highway is not a place for gangs and etc.. unless there's a bridge where they can drug up and grafitti the walls.

:/ How many of that population is homeless or in less than a middle class situation?

Wait... wait... what?.... O_o;;

First off... where is the "actual city"?
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e0/PanATL1.jpg
I would think there.
And if you're asking for where people live... Atlanta has 5,138,223 people... I would think they live in homes.... maybe apartments but lots of people live in a subdivision (in fact I was in one today).

As for gangs..... heh.... downtown Atlanta is a death trap due to the gangs. If you want gangs go down there and you'll see them first hand.

And I don't know how many are homeless...

And what I posted before was you saying that Georgia is all land.... I pointed out Atlanta.... so if you're still trying to prove that GA is farmland and such then you're failing badly Kura. O_o

Okay.. well when I looked up the general area on Google maps it was EXTREMELY Rural. I thought there was LOADS of land and big-acre houses there.. So I'm just speaking on behaf of what I saw through the satallite and the fact that you hardly ever hear about high crime rates in Georgia..

:/ Not to mention that I've actually been to Mexico and I've seen the streets and I know what it's like. And even though I've never visited Georgia, I can say that the places in the US that I HAVE visited are EXTREMELY different.
Population doesn't mean as much as the actual like.. culture factor and the way people are generally brought up in the cities.

And.. when I google Toronto I get pictures like:

and http://www.torontoinfocenter.com/toronto_aerial.jpg
and when I googled Georgia, I mostly either got maps or stuff like this:

Basically what I'm getting from Kura, is Georgia is some spot of land with homeless people. o_o" Uhh... as Andy said, not really. XD I guess except for the gangs, I wouldn't know? Only knowledge I really have of Georgia is from passing by during trips to VA to FL. XD Don't know a ton about states I haven't lived in.

I'll admit when I was younger (This isn't directed at Kura by the way XD) I used to think every place outside my hometown was just land with random people. (Still could think this anyway) I was very young actually. Kinda funny when I look back at it. So many things change when you grow up.

No. I didn't say that Georgia had homeless people. I ASKED if there were a lot of homeless people in Georgia. If there are a lot of people without homes in a certain city, then obviously not everyone is from a different class so, oftentimes, there would less of a reason to steal and etc.
A lot of people who live on the streets live off of drugs.. therefore hightening drugrate in that area.
Georgia is not a bad place. Quite the contrary, actually.. yet I dunno why Andy wants to compare it to cities with bad reps..

Okay... that makes no sense. Toronto is a city in Ontario, yet you're comparing it to Georgia as a whole. When I google Ontario, I get this. So, by what you said before... Ontario is just big farm fields with homeless people... because, that looks pretty rural to me; but I know that Ontario still has big cities like Toronto. All states/provinces have rural parts, and those parts are what usually pops up on Google, since most people prefer looking at scenic landscape and not big cities. Just because those are what pops up, it doesn't mean that's all there is to that area.

Yes. Ontario, as a whole -IS- farmland. I know that. Part of our trade is making wood/paper/ etc from up north. And for that we need trees.

I dunno what everyone's hook is with this whole homeless people jive..
But I know that Atlanta IS a lot safer than many other cities. That is the main point that I'm getting at.
Andy shouldn't compare Atlanta to something like Mexico city. Just like people shouldn't compare Brazil with Japan. They both have a big population, and they both have cities, but both are vastly different.

Edit: Bedtime, night <3

Actually, no. I haven't eaten today. :D I should probably go make myself something to eat before I starve to death. I've had the weird habit of doing that a lot lately.

I tend to do that too. XD If I know I'm going out for dinner or something, I'll try not to eat much (if at all) that day. Stuff tastes better when you're starving. \o/

No, you sick, sick man. I cook pancakes, I don't actually eat them.

That's not actually helping is it?

Unless it was a salad packed with a bunch of other crap, I don't think I could do that. If it's the only thing that I eat, salads usually end up making feel worse. XD
