PS3>360>Wii, imo. Which is kind of ironic coming from me, seeing as I own both a Wii and 360, but no PS3...yet >_>
Then again, I don't really know too much about the actual hardware of any of the 3 systems. Hell, I'm really just saying this based off the games, and the fact that the ps3 has a built in blu-ray player. Oh, and the fact that everyone around me at this point seems to think the PS3 is better, and I just sort of..believe them ._.
As for those people who feel it necessary to run around the room, flailing their arms in the air while playing Wii...I'm one of those people. I'm not intentionally trying to make myself look like a total douchebag while playing, it just...sort of comes naturally.
I mean, I realize that a simple wave of the controller infront of the screen would suffice, but...y'know...
The only thing that the PS3 has going for it at the moment is the blu-ray player. Right now it's the best valued player you can get. But prices should drop on normal players so people won't even need to get a PS3. Everyone around you is obviously a dedicated fan, and while Sony may have some games lined up for next year, none interest me enough to purchase their console.
You know, there's only one game I have that requires any "flailing" and that's WiiSports. Anything else can be played just sitting back and relaxed, haha.
Said random gibberish has been abolished and the user banned. :D WHOO.
Wii is.. ehh. Some good games, but for the most part it seems there are more things interesting me on the 360 and PS3 these days. >_> Kinda sad, since I used to like, be in love with Nintendo.
It's that whole ~going for the casual market~ thing they're doing. Blagh.
Everyone wants the casual, it's making them buckets of money. I don't know why people think Nintendo has abandoned their err... more dedicated fans, I suppose. They've released heaps of good games and have more coming up. You all just like to moan and complain.
Besides, it's the third party support that's providing most of the shovelware and crap that we all despise - you can't blame Nintendo for that. No one blamed Sony when we saw it all on the PS2.
Personally, I think Nintendo is too high on themselves nowadays. xD;
They think because they've been successful for so many years, that they know what they're doing. Hopefully the response to the Wii brings them back to earth.
The response to the Wii has only been outstandingly positive o_o
