Well, we've been trying to stay on topic (seeing it's the rule and all).

I'm pretty sure it's school from what I gather...just had two tests today and did community service with a school club and got back so I'm drained =_=; Then I have a test and girl's senior vs junior football practice tomorrow....;-;

But n00bs are cool! XD They exist solely for comedic relief, and that is something we are in dire need of. :D

Though speaking of n00b quotes, I need to make a new one....XD

Tests. Don't ya'll love it when it's REAL purpose is just to waste your time and drive you insane? ;).

...And speaking of insane, it's 12:55am, I was suppose to go to bed at 11:15pm, and yet the cat is walking around the livingroom and I haven't the faintest clue on what she wants ¬_¬'.

Standardized Tests in the US is way too overused. XD But certainly makes it way easier than other testing methods than Multiple Choice.
Eh..tests waste time but are a necessary evil. =P

Aiyh....two of my three exams are multiple choice. That's both a blessing and a curse in some regards, heh. My calculus exam isn't MC this year, but I've had math exams like that in the past.

In my religion mid-term, there was a question asking "Who is the father of Hindu aesthetics?" The problem I had was that during the course the professor had said that while he thought the father was Bharata, he also said that it was generally thought that Bhartrhari was. And of course, both of these guys were options. >_<

So instead of choosing based off what I learned in class, I based my choice off of how much of a [insert word I won't say here] I thought my professor was. Unfortunately for him, I got the right answer. XD

ROFL! XD Good one. If I ever think of a good one, I'll say it to you. Then, you can quote me, and everyone who reads your signature will recognize me, and I'll be popularrrr *cheerleader pose* :xx
XD thanks. And that quote actually comes from yours truly. >_<

I happen to prefer multiple choice exams....I just feel like there's more of a chance to do better on them. I can usually narrow questions down to a couple choices, then it's just 50/50. My history exams have all been written, but bio and chem are multiple choice.

Duuuude, you're sooooo wrong! I never said such thing. Just thinking I would have typed something like that makes me suspect the level of my intelligence.

Multiple choice exams are very easy, as you have a better chance of getting the question right. I used to ace multiple choice exams and struggle with normal ones.

I agree multi choice exams are amazing. I have an A level exam in January I have to start revising soon..
I hate multiple choice exams >.< Mostly because the teacher who makes most of them (biology) doesn't know how to make decent, understandable questions, so everyone end up confused and kinda make close-your-eyes-drop-your-pen choices instead of actually guessing.

But in the humaniora subjects, muptiple choices are definitely better, since then you don't have to write those creepy essay-length answers o___o

It depends...I suppose if I've actually studied, multiple choice is YAY. But when you don't even know which choices to narrow down, it's X_X.

Essay questions give me a chance to evaluate the question and expand on what I'm trying to talk about. I've always been decent at writing, so if I'm not familiar with the subject, I can still make it sound understandable.

Am I the only person that DOESN'T study and passes the test anyway?

I can't remember the last time I "studied"

Well if you're really only 13, there's a good chance that will change. XD I never studied in middle school and got all As and Bs (except math..), but when you get into 10th, 11th, and 12th grade, and especially college/universities, you'll have to study if you want the grades you need to get somewhere.

At least for me, I'm not looking for a "pass". I want straight As. Straight As need studying. Come to think about it, anything in university requires hard work and continuous studying. You're still 13, so the level of work you're given is not heavy; not even relative to your age. That's how I found it myself from personal experience, after all.

To the question that someone said that they never 'studied' when it came to important stuff..... I myself was like that when it was coming up for my exams in 2006. We were told that you'd have to revise for them (so that you'd get qualifications), me? All I did was site on my arse and browse the internet.

...That costed me my entire qualifications and I didn't pass a single exam :'(

I never study. The teachers always say "don't leave it to the last minute!" but that's exactly what I do. Studying in middle school is so overrated. I still manage to get A's and B's without study so why use it?
