Maybe Evanescence was influenced by Lacuna Coil? Just because two bands have similarities doesn't mean one is a rip-off of the other. -_-; Lacuna Coil seems... heavier than Evanescence to me (although I've only heard a few of their songs), although I do see your point in that they sound alike.

I still prefer Evanescence over LC. =\

What really annoys me is the lack of underage shows. Two of my favourite bands, Evanescence and Blink 182, are touring here over the next three months, and since they aren't playing any underage gigs I can't go. It's sooooooo annoying.
They are two of my favourites too. Blink 182 is my favourite but their new album is kind of... Well I didn't like it like their past albums. O.o

Blink 182 is great, but I do agree with you on their new album. The songs are too... different when compared to their other stuff. =\ Although I LOVE track 3. XD

This topic is kinda dying with the club going at the same time. Maybe we should just pick one or the other and discuss the band there?

The self-titled is the only Blink 182 album I've heard the whole of, although my friends tell me that "Cheshire Cat" was excellent. I really like "Feeling This", and my other favourite by them is "All the Small Things".

"One reason why mathematics enjoys special esteem, above all other sciences, is that its laws are absolutely certain and indisputable, while those of other sciences are to some extent debatable and in constant danger of being overthrown by newly discovered facts."
Albert Einstein

"What science can there be more noble, more excellent, more useful for men, more admirably high and demonstrative than mathematics."
Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."

ANNOY ME AT YOUR PERIL. I am becoming increasingly tired of the unmanly elitism and closed-mindedness of certain members who shall remain unnamed.
