people really need to stop running togekiss with overly defensive sets that expects her to take hits and shrug it off. that's why she's really lost popularity lately. she just ends up being a disappointment and dies. max HP is always a given with togekiss, but her natures should either be modest or bold. having two special walls (which btw, togekiss is a tank) that are vulnerable to tbolt is not a good thing.

Thank you!

A personal story. I used to think Torterra was a hard wall to play as. Until I stopped using him as a straight up wall, and more as a hard hitting tank.

Tanks are the opposite of real sweepers. While a sweeper, like Weavile, its hard & fast, but can't really take a hit, a Tank is slow, so it will take hits, but can still cause pain. Like Meta.

What is Brick Break doing on ScarfChomp when STAB EQ does just as much?

BTW I don't really consider Metagross much of a tank since it can't stall, something I kind of define a tank to be, but I kinda define it differently so never mind me.

BTW Metagross gets really fast with Agility :P

I tried a mega-bulky Togekiss and it sucked ._.

Allright so we are saying Togekiss wont do well as a wall. and since Milotic is weak to thunder bolt we have a problem here. I want to add another special wall, yet I'm not sure what. PLaying the much OU Blissey would kinda of fit, but I don't want to play it because that would make my team and Electivire Pwnage zone and because I really don't like it.
Also about brick break, I thought it would be better to have that move just to counter things like Blissey and Snorlax.

earthquake hits them just as hard as brick break because of STAB.

and uh togekiss is even MORE electivire vulnerable than blissey. i mean really, it boosts its speed with twave then gets a STAB, SE, 100% acc tpunch in the pooper.

i say try out uxie. it has a nice ground resist, can paralyze and do much more. oh and cresselia. forgot about cressy.

Please explain
Weavile only needs that speed, anything more and all it does is give you speed ties. Same goes with Garchomp, it only needs those Spd EV's to outspeed what it needs to with Choice Scarf.

As for Togekiss, I never intended it to be his Special Wall, he wanted Wish support, so I gave it... :\

@Anti: HP Electric perhaps?

I would use cressy, but I don't like using legendaries, and yes I know Cressy is not an uber, but I want a poke with good sp.def I can only think of Cradily and Bronzong

Cradily is only good in a Sandstorm. Are we forgetting Blissey and Snorlax?

I'd rather play Snorlax than Blissey actually.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Bold
252 Hp/172 sp.def/86 Def
Sleep Talk
Rest
Body Slam
Crunch

Would that work??

That isn't true at all. Cradily is great even without Sandstorm support.

As for that Snorlax it needs more Special Defense.

It'a a beast in Sandstorm, but very much underapreciatted outside. A damn shame, really. I might use Cradily. Once it arrives, it can use Barrier, on top of is crazy SP.DEF.

He's the reason I might have weather control on my team.

Cradily is crazy good in sandstorm but in ADV when the sandstorm boost didn't exist Cradily was still a staple on one of my old teams. It's seriously pretty good.

Cradily sounded nice in the first place. Anyway I think I got 3 choices

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Relaxed or Impish
252 Sp.def/196 Hp/ 60 Def
Rest
Sleep Talk
Body Slam/ Return
Brick Break/Crunch

Crunch seems to fail against Nape, Weavile, T-Tar, common sweapers now a days, yet, Brick Brick does well against Lucario, Tyranitar Weavile. I'm not really sure. Return has 102 power at full happiness, why not? Paralysis? I was Also thinking about earthquake.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Relaxed
252 Sp.def/152 Hp/104 Def
Power Trick
Earth Power
Explosion
Gyro Ball

Allright this how I thought about this, start it off with power trick on a sweeper, gain immense advantage in all stats except speed. Gyro Ball is in case they have a poke with ok sp.def. Earthpower for a poke with ok defense. Explosion for critical conditions.

Cradily, I have no idea how to run that.

Never EVER use that Claydol set, EVER.

Brick Break on Snorlax is just silly. Crunch/EQ and Bosy slam should be that attacks on ResttalkLax, every time. Notice Earthquake hits everything you mention Brick Break hits, but harder.

honstly I'd go snorlax.

I cant stop for a full rate, but this line stood out. It's not too much of a problem, everything has its weaknesses and boltbeam just happens to be common. If it wasnt T-bolt it would be something else.

This team still needs something that can stand up to Heracross and Gallade.

Thinking on that Cradily set lol, I was a bit too optimistic. It would get hit after power trick then get hit again and die most propably lol.
all right
it's Snorlax then.

Alright but I'd really get something that can defeat Heracross and company, because wow do they slaughter you or what.

Gallade is also a load of trouble as Choice Band Leaf Blade is simply the end of you.

Yanmega built to take hits from Heracross and Gallade? Are you serious?

Nothing can really counter both but I'd really consider Spiritomb. Then agian Megahorn would still be a huge problem but meh.

Oh you ment someone who can take hits.
Simply, Dusknoir with Fire Punch, Shadow Punch, Will-o-Wisp and Pain Split.
That should work right?

It's good but Night Slash will hurt from Gallade. A lot. It does solve your Heracross problem though.

I dunno your team doesn't have many handy resists.
