My computer at the moment sucks, so I don't really have as many programs as I would like to. But what I use:
Firefox; iChat; iTunes; Limewire; Photoshop CS; Illustrator CS; Cyberduck FTP; and this great little tea timer called Cuppa. I love it.

Gimp. I love that program.

I bet 80% of everyone who says Photoshop in this thread has a pirated copy.

As for me, I use WLM, Edit Pad Lite and mIRC quite often. :\

You could be right. Gimp is free. 100% free.

Okay, in no particular order, for my Mac:
  • iTunes
  • TextEdit
  • Activity Monitor
  • Safari
  • Photoshop CS3 (genuine)
  • Illustrator CS3 (same)
  • Firefox
  • Terminal =p
  • Quicktime
  • iCal
  • iChat
  • Microsoft Messenger, when I have no choice
  • iWork (Pages/Keynote), sometimes
  • Colloquy (formerly used ircle)
  • easy beat (by ergonis... they don't update it anymore, though, I don't think. But Finale 2008 is too expensive! *whines*)
  • Garageband (sometimes)
  • Xcode for those Objective-C moments in life
  • Script Editor because Applescript is evil
  • Virtual PC for those emergencies (never tried darwine, though)
It's a bit different on my Windows:
  • Photoshop Elements (also genuine)
  • mIRC
  • project64 (since I *STILL* haven't finished Ocarina... ;_; )
It's fun playing Ocarina of Time with a Wii Controller. ^^

I know emulators are programs but do you actually own the game though. It's okay if you don't but its illegal if you don't have it. How did you get the Rom to work with the Wii. Unless it's a Game Cube game. If it's a Game Cube game then why do you have the Rom to began with?

This is off-topic, but Wii Controllers are simply Bluetooth HID devices. Search it up on the internet. ^^

And since I'm using project64, I could only possibly be playing a Nintendo 64 game. ;)

Not really because it all counts as software. Software comes in 3 flavors. OS, Applications and Data.

How was I going off topic? 3 flavors of programs. I could talk about Linux and remain on topic. Linux is a Program, docx is a Program, Jpeg is a Program, Photoshop is a Program, etc everything in the computer is a Program even virus and worms are Programs.

Anyway. I really like Open Office though. Firefox is my Favorite Program as I use it the most.

I've used Photoshop and Gimp.

Gimp is much easier to use but I don't use it much.

S-Tails, this is a thread for naming off your most used programs, not discussing them.

Any way I've been favoring Handbrake, Quicktime, iWork trial, photoshop, and VMware Fusion lately.

The rest of the Adobe CS2 suite -- mostly Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver
Outlook Express
Windows Media Player
Sony Vegas
Microsoft Works
Wordpad
Windows Live (MSN) Messenger
Skype

I bet 80% of everyone who says Photoshop in this thread has a pirated copy.
I'm not in the eighty percent either. :]

Cause you're only meant to state your favourite programs, geh.

docx and jpeg are file types, just so you know. Now don't go off topic anymore.
