Duke losing didn't surprise me at all, and I was mildly shocked at Gtown getting the boot. IMO Wisconsin should have gotten a #2 seed considering they destroyed the Big Ten, which down or not is still a good conference. I think they get past Davidson and will give Kansas a really good game.

In the South, I think Stanford has a really good shot at Texas. I would not be surprised if they won, though I'm sticking by Texas.

In the East, UNC has to be the favorite right now. I think Tennessee has fallen under the radar and will beat the overrated Louisville Cardinals (no offense to our Louisville fan here, I actually like them myself lol). I have North Carolina in the Final four to face off with Kansas.

In the west, I think Xavier will take out West Virginia (and man, I REALLY hope they do...) and will fall to UCLA (because let's face it, the Bruins most likely will not fall to Western Kentucky, though it would be awesome to see).

Also, don't be surprised is Izzo's boys knok off Memphis and their 15 made free throws out of 32 (so much for "we improve at the line in the tournament," eh John Calipari?) I'm So glad that over hyped Pitt is gone.

So yeah...this year's tourney has been awesome.

I don't want Tennessee to win. I'm so tired of hearing about their star player Chris Loften. But I guess that comes with having to hear about him all in high school because his team was in my hs region. So I'm going to say L-ville for the win there.

I know that UCLA won't fall, but I so wish they would. I'm proud of Western for getting that far!! But I have to say UCLA for the win.
And it would be quite nice to see Memphis fall. (No offense to anyone!!!) But I will stand by what I said before. As much as I want to see L-ville win, UNC is going to do it.

Remember the way I was, for me.

I think Texas will oust Stanford in a close game, and kick out Memphis to get to the E4. Then in an instant college classic, Texas and UCLA slug it out for 3 OT's with Texas getting the nod on a contreverisal play (ironic, huh?)

I love the idea, but the chances of the Horns winning all 3 games is pretty slim. Then again Siena blowing out Vandy...lol

But the flaw with your logic is that UCLA will NEVER get a call against them...lol. It's actually pretty sad :/ Another reason to hate UCLA though...or college officiating, whichever you hate more.

The two games I'm looking forward to them most are Stanford/Texas and Louisville/Tennessee. Those will be awesome games.

I can't wait for the Louisville/Tennessee game. I have some red ready to wear XD
I'm going to be attending there next spring. XD I'm taking a semester off in the Fall, and transferring from Morehead to there. I can't wait.

Wow, Xavier was PUNISHING West Virginia. They deserve it after the lol crap they said about Duke. Again, I hate to break it to them, but the Big East isn't all that great itself (cough Georgetown cough). Also I'm glad the Big Ten pulled out a win over the overrated Pitt team. Hooray! go MSU!

Anyways, I thought Washington State wouldn't be...rolling over to UNC the way they are :/

EDIT: That Xavier/WVU game...it was like each team wanted the other team to win. Wow. WASU got smashed by North Carolina...woah.

UNC rolled over WASU pretty badly. I thought it would be a way better game.

Louisville proved my pick of Tennessee wrong by beating Pearl's squad to a pulp, 79-60.

UCLA beat Western Kentucky and Xavier (despite many efforts to lose the game including blowing an 18-point lead) beat West Virginia in OT.

UCLA...I'm not feeling so hot about my pick. also, Wisconsin...WAY TO LAY AN EGG! Man, I understand losing, but getting blown out by Davidson just sucks. I guess I get another year of hearing how bad the Big Ten is. Joy.

Memphis 92, Michigan State 74: For those who thought Memphis was the most vulnerable of the No. 1 seeds, the Tigers delivered a message: Don't mess with us. The final score wasn't indicative of Memphis' dominance in a game that was out of hand early.
Well I'm still feeling extremely good about my championship pick.
Mmmm, how about Wisc? davidson bomb.... I didn't see that coming to be honest.

But anyways... Memphis is scary right now.

But now Memphis will have to play Texas IN TEXAS. A virtual home game for the Longhorns. In fact, if they get to the National Champion, the Longhorns won't have to leave their home state! Take that UNC!

Did you see Texas? Texas walloped Stanford. Memphis will give Texas a run, but it will come down to something Memphis isn't sharp at--free throws

Texas 78, Memphis 76
I saw texas, but they were not memphis, memphis OWNED the game.period.

Tigers holding a 50-20 lead over the fifth-seeded Spartans by halftime. They owned.

Ill give my prediction later...

Home court advantage is way, way overrated. Just ask roy Williams and Rick Pitino. Not to mention the Texas fans were VERY quiet during that Stanford game, my dad and I noticed. Listen, if the home court "advantage" really does propel Texas over Memphis, Memphis isn't that good...

...And we know they are if you saw what they did to Michigan State. My original pick of Texas over Memphis...I'm doubting that a lot right now. I really think Memphis will beat Texas, but it's too late to chage my bracket.

But really, if the home court is all you're clinging to,l Texas will lose for sure. I wouldn't say they killed Stanford's big boys either. Brook Lopez decimated Texas, but of course that wasn't enough. hope Joey "I am Goliath" Dorsey doesn't do the same.

Also, Memphis' poor free throw shooting is only showing how good they are...allow me to explain. They shoot free throws HORRIBLY...yet they manage to win all but one game. No matter how poorly they shoot free throws, they always win, and they often win big. Imagine what happens if they start hitting their free throws?

Also, the Little Ten took it on the chin yesterday. Wisconsin or MSU...I can't figure out which is the bigger disappointment.

EDIT: I wouldn't say Texas whalloped Stanford at all. I believe it was 52-51 at one point. The final score is quite misleading.

That's right Tennessee is out of it. And I'm happy Duke isn't there also.
Man, you guys sure are funny. And Carolina is winning right now with 3 min. still left in the first. Oh, how bad I want Louisville to win, they aren't.

I'm 6/8 for the Elite 8, I missed Davidson and Louisville (I knew I should have picked them!)

As far as the Final four goes, I'm 2/2 right now. I've gotten 75% right every round so far O.o

EDIT: I was really hoping UNC would lose...drat. Ah well, get 'em Kansas!
