None of those even come close to the second and longest running anime. The longest anime is Sazae-san with 1,820 episode currently and it's been on the air nearly nonstop since 1969. The second longest is Doraemon with around 28 movies and 1,095 episodes as of present.

Didn't the original Naruto end at almost over 200 eps? Shippuden hasn't been complete the last I heard.

EDIT: Oh, and I resized the pic I'm using to 130x130. @YunaDances

Dragon Ball Z- I quit watching because it was repetitive and I lost interest.
Naruto- I quit watching, and reading, because quite frankly, I didn't give a care anymore. It was getting ridiculous. X.x

That's about all I can think of.

I think Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! lasted way past their golden age. Some animes just don't know when to quit (well, these too actually had series finales).
Yuugiou actually had some great story structure in the Memories arc. I wouldn't say DBZ lasted beyond its golden age, its final episode still had ratings somewhere in the 20% area, most anime can't even get upwards of 7% and only the really good drama can get 20% or higher, so it could have stayed a lot longer.

There's no way DBZ over stayed it's welcome. People over in Japan STILL love that show. Not that we hate it, we just don't still LOVE it... as much *shuts up*

BLEACHbleak in my opinion. There's only like... around 160 episodes, right?

Inuyasha's manga needs to die already. That crap's ridiculous. Not saying it's bad, it's just getting to be annoyingly long. 167 anime episodes and O MAI GAWD 53 manga volumes. Jeebus ._.

Detective Conan seemed long too cause it was kind of boring at times, so it dragged on, but it really wasn't as long as I thought it was.

...or maybe I'm dumb... :/

Onegai My Melody's getting up there in episodes. Granted, the new ones are only 11 minutes now, but the show's still going on. Ok, the new Kirara OMM series is back up to 1/2 hour episodes now.

dragonball Z is one of the longest cuz after dragon ball Z is dragon ball gt and dragonball have several movies......and Ghost fighter or yu yu hakusho ....yeah doraemon is one of the longest
GT butchered the good of dragon ball and dragon ball Z, and its not even made by the same person so I would consider it like some kind of tribute to dragon ball Z.

Toriyama actually created the character designs and worked on the plot, he obviously didn't have the input he did in Dragonball/Z, but he had a presence.
