Ive been wanting to improve on my old SS team, and ive come up with this, its ok, but it needs help, such as possible better replacements.

The team Overview.

The team in depth

Munch on you !, The Tyranitar.

//
-------------
[email protected] Band
252 HP / 56 Attack / 200 Special Defense
Careful Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Acting as my special wall, this takes special hits surprisingly well, Draco meteor fails to 2hko and with support from Celebi's Leech Seed, it will last long me thinks. Pursuit punishes Starmie and Azelf who cant do ass to me =) with SS.

------------------------------------

Buzz, The Yanmega.

//
-------------
[email protected]
6 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED
Modest Nature
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Protect
-
Hypnosis / Hidden power [Ice/Ground/Fire]

Ah, this thing is annoying and capable of running through entire teams thanks to Speed Boost. Its also good for revenge killing random stuff. Last Slot needs Help....
------------------------------------

Vlad, The Gliscor.
//
-------------
[email protected]
252 HP / 188 def / 72 speed
Impish nature
Trait : Sandveil
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stealth Rock

I wanted AA on this, i hate bulk up and SD Flame Orb hera, but im more worried the dragons, so Ice Fang here, no questions asked. 72 speed outspeeds Timid Magnezone, Jolly T-Tar and breloom so i can hit first =). i feel better about walling chomp with this, as i have Sandveil also mwahahahahahah !!!
------------------------------------

Buff, The Machamp.

//
-------------
[email protected]
252HP / 252 Atk /6 speed

Adamant Nature
Trait :No Guard
- Dynamic Punch
- Stone Edge / Ice Punch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

This is my Weavile counter, which it does very well, infact its a good tank in general. Takes Status.
------------------------------------

Time Legend, The Celebi.
//
-------------
[email protected]
252 HP / 220 DEF / 36 SPEED
Bold Nature
- Leech Seed / Reflect
- Heal Bell / Reflect
- Grass Knot
- Recover

This provides team support with leech Seed, My Cleric and it beats up Gyarados, it takes ~40% from a Grass knot, factoring SS aswell. 36 speed outpaces max speed Jolly t-tar. Im
Considering Hp ice for Dragons aswell somewhere on this.
------------------------------------

Squidward, The Tentacruel.

//
------------------------------------
[email protected]
252 HP / 72 DEF / 60 SP.ATT / 172 SP.DEF
Trait : Liquid Ooze
Calm nature
- Ice Beam / Sludge Bomb
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes

Kthnxbai Mixape, this sets up T-Spikes AND spins, which is cool. I may use Sludge Bomb to counter other bulky waters and Grass Types such as Ludicolo, etc

The thing that annoys me the most is that Garchomp is an idiot to me, i can handle scarf Chomp, but CB and SD are a whole different ball game....Gliscor had sandveil itself, so meh.....

Suggestions ?

My head hurts.

Well, that's how my day is going. About your team, I can't see the harm in swapping in Heatran. I love that Metal Sound version. Despite it's performance against Grumpig. He told me to say that, I didn't want to. He's a jerk.

That Tentacruel's nickname makes me give this team 11/10. This could sweep an uber team :)

All praise for Spongebob references aside, I wouldn't lead with DDtar. The whole idea of it is to bring it out as a total surprise at the end of a battle and beat all pokemon remaining (when things have opened up enough for a sweep). If it's to start the weather, fine, but you'll have to be kind of careful.

anyways, Dugtrio is an annoyance here. It poses a threat to Celebi and Regirock (not instant kills, especially with Celebi, but be careful) and Tar and Tenta are just finished. Be wary of it is all, I'm not saying it's this huge ZOMG problem, but it is a problem for sure.

Also, the special walling is very strange for this team. Regirock relies an awful lot on Celebi and Tentacruel, but of whom are at least moderately threatened by Dugtrio. With Celebi, Duggy isn't really a problem, but weavile is...my point being that trappers alone can wipe out your special walling against many threats totally.

Otherwise, I really like this team. Just be wary of trappers, as they have potential to cause a lot of problems.

Yeah, i knew you'd come in with Duggy lol ,

Weavile cant beat Regirock, a CB Brick Break sint even a 3hko =0, it kills Celebi though, with Pursuit. I was going to Put Reflect on it aswell >>leech Seed, but meh, im unsure.

You think i could Shed Shell all my duggy weakz ? XP J/K

Squidward ftw !

@Sims, stupid Grumpig is going to feel pain when i battle joo lator on !!! lol

As for Heatran, ill try it and zappy to see whom performs better. ill Shed Shell it though lolDugtriolol

Oh, you're not Weavile weak with Tentacruel resisting all of its attacks and Regirock who laughs even at Brick Break, just pointing that out :P

Also, I know you're into 2HKOing Swampert and all with Blackglasses, but is it really necessary? Life Orb is better...IMO having the glasses just for one pokemon isn't worth it. Besides, you have Toxispikes and whatnot to wear it down, by the time you bring it out to sweep the boost probably wouldn't really matter.

Also love the UU choice of Tentacruel on this team ;)

Low blow, punk.

I agree with Anti on this. Dread Plate makes more sense.

That or Expert Belt, or even Life Orb.

Actually it was a reference to my VM about Tenta's tier status. It is UU!!! Of course it's good in standards ;) Anyways...

Expert Belt sounds viable. I have only used DDtar once in this generation and it was when I first got shoddy, so I don't really remember :0 Expert Belt sounds awesome though :)

I suggest Earthquake over Hammerarm on Regi, it is an amazing Heatran counter, and you'll also be able to hit TTar SE.

I'm not sure about Black Glasses, if Swampert comes on the DD, he'll be able to Earthquake you anyway.

I'd slap U-turn on Celebi instead of Heal Bell, the only pokemon who really minds about status here is TTar, and he has Taunt.

Overall, team looks good. Beware of Kabutops and other rain dancers ;p

A few notes:
- Having 3 pokemon owned by Dugtrio isn't the best thing to have.
- TTar actually makes a better special wall than Regirock. His base HP is higher, not to mention he actually brings the sandstorm with him, so you don't have to worry about boosted Surf in case some pokemon used Rain Dance previously. I'm just saying you could use TTar as a special wall and get a different pokemon than Regirock to help your team better, because he is pretty much a set up fodder.

Tenta is not............ whatever im not arguing cus you'll shoot me XD.

I dunno, T-Tar is bulky and i dont like the recoil on it, ill put Life Orb on near anything else, but i just dont like Life Orbing Tar for some reason. I just like the power up on Crunch in general, not just for swampy, it helps with 2hkoing Gyarados after intimidate and other stuff.

Ive been thinking, would Reflect be better on Celebi ? It might help some of my guys deal with Duggy and Chomp better...

EDIT:

@Syaoran, i was kinda thinking about rain dance rape tbh, thats why i have Tenta and Celebi aswell to some extent.

EQ i will consider on Regi.....

As for T-Tar as a special wall, i have no clue on the set, Rest-Talk ? Ill probs get a fighting type, such as Machamp if i take out Regi.

As for Duggy, think i can get away with Shed Shelling some of my pokes ?

I suggest you read my VM. Tenta is SO UU :P

Also, remember most things you're worrying about can kill you before you 2HKO them...like Gyarados, Waterfall HURTS.

Reflect sounds decent enough on Celebi.

I would also be wary of starmie, the little rascal can rip through Regirock and can cause you a mess of trouble. Kingdra can do the same, I'm sure Syaoran is dying to say that :)

Ive read the Vm, but i choose to ignore it XP

Nah, Gyarados gets beat up by Celebi, even with ice Fang it still looses, Grass Knot does like 40% to it.

I know about starmie, it cant ohko anything apart from Gliscor. I agree its a problem though. Ughhhh...

Yes, Kingdra will hurt, i was hoping to wall it with Tenta n Celebi....

This is the part where i go "Im kinda stuck"....

Are you planning on having Ttar as the lead?

Oh, I know you're not Gyarados weak, I was talking about what you wanted to 2HKO with Tar ;)

Anyways, most teams lose to Kingdra (<3) so I wouldn't freak out too much. I'd worry about more common threats that can beat you (like Specs Vaporeon :P)

Special defensive TTar usually compensates for the ATK with Choice Band, but you don't have to do that.. try this: Careful / 172 HP / 84 ATK / 252 SDEF. Pursuit or Crunch [or both], with Earthquake and Stone Edge. Taunt is good for Blissey and Bronzong I suppose. You could slap Focus Punch if you're good at predicting.

Nice, ill try a CB then, so i can get starmie with pursuit etc. I think ive seen sp.def t-tar somewhere before, it rings a bell from somewhere, i think it was on a smogon thread, im not sure...Anyways : -

[email protected] Band
252 HP / 56 Attack / 200 Special Defense
Careful Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Does that look ok or do i need more att ? I dont like that it doesnt have recovery move, but meh..

Also would you think i need a end game sweeper now that DD Tar is gone?

However, i know i need a weavile counter now, i was thinking a bulky sweeper like machamp, but my team is slow, like really...

You could try Yanmega for the last slot. With Rapid Spin support and speed boost, it is quite an awesome pokemon.. I personally hate it because it has decent defense and it can be a huge pain to take down. x_x

Air Slash / Bug Buzz / Hypnosis / HP Ground with Life Orb is a force to be reckoned with!

Weavile still rapes it with ice Shard =[, my team has problems with Weavile tbh. Think it would be better to use that >> Zapdos and put Machamp >> Regi ?

I'm sure Hammer Arm from Regirock will take down a weavile, and Sandstorm will wreck it if it has a focus sash. That's if you keep Hammer Arm > Earthquake.

If Yanmega switches on a predicted Brick Break [for TTar], it will barely do anything, and Ice Shard won't 1HKO. You'll still lose Yanmega tho because of Life Orb recoil. =\

hmmm.. you COULD try a Restalk Gyara instead of Zapdos. Waterfall will kill it quickly, AND you also have a pokemon that can take status now. =]

Machamp is very slow and unlike Gyara, he can't Intimidate. Gyara's electric weakness is covered very well by Celebi and Gliscor.. even TTar won't mind the T-bolt. Sleep Talk DD Waterfall is very dangerous.

Rest-Talk,DD, Waterfall 0_o only one attacking move ? Seem weird, but ill consider it.
