Fortunately for me, I live in the US so I have Brawl. I do not want to spoil anything for you except that I will say that Brawl is more slow paced than Melee. Although it takes a while to get used to it, your skill should be the same or even more than an equivalent. Also, many of the veterans got weaker, however there are some that became more powerful.

There's a lot of people here that are Brawl fans, I can simply assume that without any proof.

I love the idea and always will, but Nintendo still has not learned their lesson from Brawl: do not add Japanese-exclusive characters on overseas versions unless they are planning to release games overseas with those characters.

For example, why is Marth still in Brawl? Is the Fire Emblem III remake for the DS coming to the US? Lyn should have taken his place, and Hector should have taken Brawl's version of Ike. If you have played both FEVIII and FEIX / FE X you know why I say this. Of course, to represent FEIX / FEX, Soren should have been added to introduce mages onto the battlefield *: ]*.

Other than that, keep it up Nintendo!

*Still waiting for Mother 3's English release.* I second that, sweetie.

Anyway sweeties, I <3 the Super Smash Bros series to death. I played every version of it to till the point where I can mentally play out the game's physics. XD

Yah, Brawl is great... but two flaws. I think the online play is a bit outdated. Seriously, FRIEND CODES? Waiting? Gahh!

I also think the loading time is ridiculously slow. It takes 30 seconds for the game to first load when I turn on the Wii.

Brawl's cool, but Melee is still better in my opinion... Well, better by competitive standards anyways. I still enjoy Brawl, though, and plan on focusing on it, as I'm sure the competitive standard will become Brawl... But if you want a deep game, Brawl won't be THAT great...

Still, good though. Definitely.

I bet I am a larger fan. Since for the last nine months I played Melee competitively and still do.
Unfortunately, Pikachu is known as "Low Tier," so I usually do not do well especially against Marth, Fox, and the Ice climbers.

SSBM/SSBB tournements takes a few hours to drive there.

Also many people do not like Brawl competitively because it is slow though I think the game is fun.
and ever, and ever, and EVER!

You are a loser! unlike ME!
