What is the proudest moment of your life?

Mine would be when I was seven years old and I won a piano competition. I practised so hard beforehand, as much as I didn't like to do it, and I gave it my all at the competition. I forget what song I played, but I guess that doesn't matter. ^^;

After I won, though, the local news came up to me and interviewed me. That was really cool because it was my first (and only) time on television. They just asked simple questions like how old I was, how I felt about winning, and stuff like that, but I was so happy.

...I never saw the broadcast, though. >.<

So, what's your shining moment of pride? :D

So far it's been finally walking across the stage at my graduation, but it will someday be replaced with the day that I get married, look at my child for the first time, and watch that same child graduate!

Well, I'm a hopeless pathetic failure who doesn't really exceed expectation in anything and will probably live the starving artist's life and be found dead of alcohol overdose in a gutter about twenty years down the road.

...But I DID make mashed potatoes that taste good and I DID get in the top ten percentile on the National Latin Exam. And I WILL get out of West Virginia and hopefully into a good art school. >:D

In Year 4, my school had arranged for selected students to visit a ceremony in London where the Queen was attending as well. Ten students in my class were selected to go on this trip, myself included. We had a lot of paparazzi shots and I actually shook the hand of royalty for the first time in my life. I felt really proud at the time, thinking back to it now gives me butterflies in my stomach.

The day I got my black belt, by far the proudest moment of my life. Sure, I was bloody and sore when it was all over, but none of that mattered. All that did was that I had worked for three years for it, and I got it.

Um. Honestly, I don't think I have one XD;

I'm not a very successful person, but I guess what I got a promotion at work was pretty cool. I'm not a bagger anymore, I'm a cashier.

I really don't know. For me, anything below a certain standard is not even worth a good moment of pride; for example I was upset when I got all A's and two B's on my report card last week. Good grades are just something that is expected. Instrumental wise, I guess getting six trillion solo's for stuff and being advanced for my age group. But that was expected of me as well, so I don't really see it as something to be proud of. Sports are the same as the other two.

Snap, I really don't know. I suppose it would be winning a writing contest or making a flawless persuasive speech in English class a couple weeks ago. As I said, I expect things, and yeah. s:

It's been long but we can do it; let's make this our dream

Look to tomorrow because it's all we have. Turn up the music until the walls shake. What do we have?
Is it hope? Love? Is it nothing at all? We won't know at all until we make something of what we feel.
When that happens, we'll find the truth. We'll find what we want. And we will find ourselves, finally.

I would say my most recent proud moment was on the 13th of this month when I graded to Green Belt in Karate, but that's easily gonna be replaced when I finally become a Karate teacher and when I get my Black belt.

Graduating high school third in my class, I suppose. Even though my class was small (120 kids), it's still amazing I placed so high. I graduated with a 4.05 weighted (I'd guess probably between 3.8-3.9 unweighted?), which I like. I was aiming for above 4.0. :D

...of course, since high school's so easy, that just means I did my homework and did okay on tests. I have a 3.2 in college right now. D: *sighs*

That time I went to Candy Mountain.
Ahaha. One of the best posts of all time.

Me? I don't know. Asking me to pick out something like that above everything else is one Hell of a challenge. Let's just say it was when I joined The PokèCommunity. Ahaha.
'It's been a prevalent notion. Fallen sparks. Fragments of vessels broken at the Creation. And someday, somehow, before the end, a gathering back to home. A messenger from the Kingdom, arriving at the last moment. But I tell you there is no such message, no such home -- only the millions of last moments . . . nothing more. Our history is an aggregate of last moments.'

OK, I think I have two moments of pride, one is pretty silly, but, meh...

The first one is as other people, when I graduated from my high school and got a badge for the "best average" (dont know if you people have something similar to that), because it's like, telling me "all that study was worth something" -_-

The other is pretty stupid as I said, but it was when I finished the game Tomb Raider 2. I felt so good because it was a hard game (for me, at that time), I never cheated or checked any guide, and I even had my school friends helping in the thinking of how to solve the puzzles (multiple heads think better than one...)

When I won $5000 at a Young Author's competition. They payed for my flight and hotel, and I got to fly to Seattle first class :3
...see...when I won nationals in the JAC/DAR writing competition, they came to my school, gave me like twenty bucks, and a certificate medal thing.

Now I feel like that was a failure. Thanks Heatran. Thanks.

My most wonderful moment is when I was a second year highschooler...
I was the contestant of our section in the Scientist Look-A-Like Competition in our school.

I participated in practice and such, yet I missed the general rehersal...
I argued against my science teacher at the moment as well.
By the time of the competiton, behind the curtains, I was practicing my lines...

First was the introduction of who are we immitating.
Then the question and answer portion.
The otehr contestants were fully prepared with their costumesand such, while me, meh, never mind...

By the time of announcing the winners, I have no thoughts of winning and I'm just oay with it.
The hosts announced the winners after they got the judges' paer sheets...
They announced the 3rd runner up, wasn't me...
Then the second runner up, wasn't we either...
ButI was surprised when I announced that I was the 1st runne up!
That was very unexpected and I was very proud... I stood all second year participants who haven't reached any positions of honor. I even defeated the higher class in second years....
The champion was a third year.

That was unforgetable for me. :)

Getting into my university of choice would probably be what I'm most proud of. I was pretty sick for a lot of grade 12 and missed a ton of school. My marks suffered and I had an awful teacher for one of my required math courses. Somehow I still managed honour roll, got into every university I applied for, and got an entrance scholarship too. n_n
