Hi all,
Since I have recently lost wifi I have decided to raise a team in anticipation of when i next get chance to use it. However the next time i will get to use it is when i go on holiday on the worlds largest cruise (<<That's in bold because I like to brag :P). So yeah, I thought I'd raise a nautical/boat themed team, UU tier.

[email protected]**Teh Cr00z**
Jolly
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Shard
Body Slam/Sing/Confuse Ray
So yeah, DDLapras complete with 1337 speak nickname. It ferries people around so is the closest thing ill get to a boat. Needs help, I'm leaning more towards physical over special due to DD's boost to its rather average stats, but it still needs help.

[email protected] Orb**PrettyPolly**
Timid
252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
Hyper Voice/Chatter
Night Shade/Chatter
HP [Fight]
Nasty Plot
So yeah, this is supposed to be the parrot that sits on the stereotypicl pirate's shoulder. NastyPlot sweeper. This thing could really have done with air slash but meh, this is the best set i could see. HP recommendations appreciated

[email protected] Orb**ShipRat**
Adamant
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Return
Brick Break
Volt Tackle/Thunder Punch
Agility
Old boats always had rats running about on them, mine's electrically charged. This one's also fully-physical which is always a nice suprise, and makes a last-ditch resist at electircity. I will not use focus punch, brick break has the same power-per-turn ratio so it stays. I'm tempted to use a FEAR ratata to fill the same casting position, but i thought it cheap ;)

[email protected]**Barnacle**
Impish(Shell Armor)
252HP/204SpDef/52Def
Rapid Spin
Spikes
Toxic
Ice Shard
This looks like those shells on the bottom of boats and is just as hard to shift. Physical wall and spin support, with spikes and status to boot. Ice shard for priority hits.

[email protected]**Moby Dick**
40HP/192SpAtt/240SpDef/36Def
Calm
Discharge
Surf
Rest
Sleep Talk
Electirc whale from hell. Set courtesy of DA, and it suits the team very well. Volt absorb is extremely handy with my current electric weakness, and discharge's high paralysis rate doubles as a status attack :P

[email protected]**Flying Dutchman**
252Spd/252Spd/6 HP
Timid Nature
Discharge
Shadow ball
Will-o-wisp
Toxic
So yeah, this boat's haunted by a levitating, double status spin blocker. Never a bad thing I think you'll agree :) Courtesy of DA once again

I'm no expert, but how about a giant steel penguin?or a giant Manta ray?
Or even an oddly natured Dragonite? they're meant to live in the sea (as you can sea i'm obsessed with dragonite)
So yeah, thats the jist of it atm. I need a special wall though, something suitably nautical.
I was a bit bad and got told off, but i reckon my suggestions for the wall are ok

Poliwrath with water absorb can do some damage, especially if it has Thunder Punch.

Gofre, why is there no spacing anywhere in your post. It makes it look unorganized.

Nautical themed special walls would probably be something along the lines of Mantine, Empoleon (meh), or tentacruel. probably others.

Yeah they were what i was thinking off. However Im not keen on empoleon due to it adding to my already prevelant fight-weak and i dont like mantine's 4x electric either. Plus this is UU so tenta's ruled out. How would lanturn work? It benefits from my electic weaknesses, has high HP (moderate SpDef but yah know) and can restTalk, thoughts?

There's spacing between sets, but the sets themselves look like this:

DragonDance
IceShard
HydroPump

Everything is clumped together. And I can't really rate this team until it's put together.

Oh I get you now, sorry my wordpad reformats it like that (I wrote this few days ago) for some reason. I'll change it.

I have a Lanturn that works alright, although i have only used it against friends, and they're not that tactical, but i did manage to thunder wave an entire team and then finish off with my mixape, and this guy has Darkrai too. Dunno how this'll help you but meh, Lanturn seems ok.

Tbh that doesnt help at all. No offense, but you arent that tactical yourself, if you dont consider your friends tactical then they cant be great. Plus i need a set, just saying "its good" or "i got to thunder wave them all" won't help me when I come to using it.

Aha thankyou, I saw its base HP and volt absorb and thought it could fit.

Any comments on the rest of the team? I'm trying to find a better chatot set.

Earthquake
Aqua jet/ Ice fang

Or

Evs: 252 att, 240 spd, 12 hp.
Crunch
Swords dance
Waterfall
Rock slide.

Yeah, chatot really would've loved air slash. Maybe replace HP Fight with HP Ground to cover electrics. Also, maybe switch in on a ground/ghost move and use encore? Perhaps U-turn for a quick escape... Something like:

Chatot @ Life Orb
Timid
252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 6HP
Hyper Voice
Night Shade/U-Turn
HP [Ground]/[Fight]
Nasty Plot

I don't know a place to put up Encore.... what do you think?

If you're going to use Chatot, you're going to have to go...unconventional.

It's special move, Chatter, isn't that bad, and while confusion shuldn't be relied upon, it can help. Especially with fellow UU fighters. Encore allows easier Nasty Plot, and Feather Dance is always a good move.

Dude, i'm no expert, but surely you mean 4 hp on Sharpedo, as 6 is wasted EVs, and you could put 16hp for it to add up to 508 on Crawdaunt, am i right?!

It doesn't really matter: Wherever those 2 EVs go they're not going to count, so you might as well put them into HP anyway.

I too woukd have suggested Lanturn for a special wall, absorb Electric attacks that are undoubtedly coming your way and dish out some paralysis yourself.

Erm, i dont think this team has trouble taking water attacks, since two have a quad resistance.

Poliwrath has Close Combat, which is strong against Lapras and Cloyster, as well as Earthquake on Pikachu.

Ok thanks for the input. Lanturn is now up there and I plan on changing chatot. By including chatter's 100% confuse rate it can be a bit more threatening than it is now. I also need advice for the final slot, and before anyone suggests a poke, I'd like some reasoning. At the moment I'm leaning towards slowking to play the role of el capitano, what with the fight resist my team needs. Oh and he has a huge hat :P

Slwking is BL unfortunately, and if you used it, this team would be BL. Its the same as using Giratina in a team full of OU pokes.

Fighting immunity, Rotom maybe ?
