Greetings all, I recently encountered a problem with my hard drive requiring me to reinstall windows. Everything is fine again but...I can't view foreign languages anymore, and I lost Office 07 and my antivirus software, I emailed the Antivirus and now must E-mail microsoft. any suggestions?

By foreign languages I'm assuming you mean languages like Japanese.
It is actually very easy to get these to show up. all you need is your installation cd.

what you need to do is insert your installation cd
Go to your control panel and click on the regional options icon/category
If you were in category view, then choose Add languages. just make sure you are on the Languages tab in the dialog.
Next check the boxes next to install files for East Asian Languages. then you can click apply, at which point it will ask for your cd or just install from your cd.

Hope this helps!

Well there are some programs out there that can retrieve formatted data, so if you had the installer file for both Office 07 and what ever antivirus program you had, but those sorts of programs usually make you pay a small fee just to use the feature to bring it all back, but the best thing to do is to download the installers if you dont have the CDs of them

Don't even need that, in my experience. I seem to do fine by merely downloading a Japanese font.
