Hi all,
Since I have recently lost wifi I have decided to raise a team in anticipation of when i next get chance to use it. However the next time i will get to use it is when i go on holiday on the worlds largest cruise (<<That's in bold because I like to brag :P). So yeah, I thought I'd raise a nautical/boat themed team, UU tier.

The Line-Up:

[email protected]**Teh Cr00z**
Jolly
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Shard
Body Slam
So yeah, DDLapras complete with 1337 speak nickname. It ferries people around so is the closest thing ill get to a boat. Needs help, I'm leaning more towards physical over special due to DD's boost to its rather average stats, but it still needs help.

[email protected] Orb**PrettyPolly**
Timid
252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
Hyper Voice/Chatter
Night Shade/Chatter
HP [Fight]
Nasty Plot
So yeah, this is supposed to be the parrot that sits on the stereotypicl pirate's shoulder. NastyPlot sweeper. This thing could really have done with air slash but meh, this is the best set i could see. HP recommendations appreciated

[email protected] Orb**ShipRat**
Adamant
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Return
Brick Break
Thunderpunch
Agility
Old boats always had rats running about on them, mine's electrically charged. This one's also fully-physical which is always a nice suprise, and makes a last-ditch resist at electircity. I will not use focus punch, brick break has the same power-per-turn ratio so it stays. I'm tempted to use a FEAR ratata to fill the same casting position, but i thought it cheap ;)

[email protected]**Barnacle**
Bold(Shell Armor)
252HP/204SpDef/52Def
Rapid Spin
Spikes
Toxic
Surf/Ice Beam
This looks like those shells on the bottom of boats and is just as hard to shift. Physical wall and spin support, with spikes and status to boot. Need help for the final slot.

[email protected]**Moby Dick**
40HP/192SpAtt/240SpDef/36Def
Calm
Discharge
Surf
Rest
Sleep Talk
Electirc whale from hell. Set courtesy of DA, and it suits the team very well. Volt absorb is extremely handy with my current electric weakness, and discharge's high paralysis rate doubles as a status attack :P

[email protected]**Flying Dutchman**
252SpAtt/252Spd/6 HP
Timid Nature
Discharge
Shadow ball
Will-o-wisp
Toxic
So yeah, this boat's haunted by a levitating, double status spin blocker. Never a bad thing I think you'll agree :) Courtesy of DA once again

Its stats are very average, but both of its attacking stats are even, so if you are running DD it makes sense to go physical lol.

this really is the best set, since chatot isnt overly versatile

Volt tackle over thunder punch. It will take a very lucky switch in to get off agility due to pikachu's horrible defenses. I prefer brick break over focus punch also, and I think a pikachu really should have substitute

That's good.

He's good as well.
Comments in bold. Overall its a very good team for the UU environment and you're electric weakness has been addressed via Lanturn (and to some extent pikachu and rotom). FEAR rattata is more or less a gimmick, and I don't think sacrificing a pokemon to ensure 1 KO is that useful.

Hmm i know what you mean about pikachu, but I'm reluctant to put sub on it. In my experience its subs are destroyed before i have a chance to set up, and combined with volt tackle it wil be harming itself very quickly. I'll consider sub though.

Whenever Pikachu comes up, I'm always reminded of the time I saw one when facing an old friend, and thought, "A Pikachu? Well, this'll be easy," and I didn't really plan anything against it, forgetting about Light Ball. Until he got in the first Nasty Plot... then things started to get ugly.

All-in-all, nearly my entire (OU/UU mix) team was swept by a Pikachu, simply with the element of surprise. However, he does have terrible defenses, so make sure you know how to use him.

Also, Rotom isn't that good, even for UU. His typing is possibly one of my favorites, but I think other Pokemon may fit the bill a bit better. I think a Ground Pokemon would do this team wonders, like Claydol (I use a Claydol in my OU team, and so far it's never let me down. I don't play UU, but I've heard he can be an utter menace in that arena).

Claydol doesnt seem to be do much for the team. Cloyster offers spin support, rotom offers fight+Ground immunity and lanturn offers electric immunity. Plus its completely unboaty :P
And i really wanna test rotom, it's one of my faves. WoW also helps cloyster wall fighting attacks, which due to their super effectiveness are still going to hurt. Naturally he'll stay out on them where possible but he still helps.

I would be inclined to not use Volt Tackle at all. The extra power is nice, but with a Base HP of 35, Pika won't be doing much before he dies from recoil. All it takes is for the opponent to switch in another pokemon with decent HP and Pikachu will cook itself.

Unless there is a threat that needs to be OHKO'd by VT, Thunderpunch is a better option.

Lapras is generally a defensive pokemon, and it's a waste to let it's HP down, so I personally don't like DD Lapras.
Chatot is good.
Pikajew is also good.
Cloyster should have both Surf and Ice Beam, give up Toxic.
Lanture is good, even thought without Ice it's type coverage is much smaller.
Rotom should pass Reflect/Light Screen (expecially for Cloyster), so put then insted of the status inducers.
