It's a pretty good Baton Pass team.

Mask (Ninjask) (M) @ Starf Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
- Substitute

Screw Liechi, Starf is where it's at. As long as it doesn't choose Speed, I'll get something excellent to pass on. This team is really flexible. It's not just one huge chain.

Luke (Lucario) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic

Special sweeper! A few Calm Minds, some speed, maybe both, and it's unstoppable. It's good on its own too.

Celestial (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Energy Ball
- Recover

Bulky Celebi is bulky. Hippowdon and Swampert can't Roar it, Skarm is a problem but the rest of the team takes care of him. Can pull off a mini sweep.

Vappy (Vaporeon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Roar
- Surf
- Wish

You know those people that stall Ninjask out of Substitutes and switch to a phazer as it passes? Yeah. Wish support as well, and it Roars away Gyarados since none Taunt it for fear of HP Electric.

Erureido (Gallade) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 228 HP/252 Atk/28 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut

This is the physical guy, EV'd to reach 406 speed after a +2 pass. For some reason people don't seem to expect Ice Punch I don't get it >_>

Drake (Gyarados) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 212 HP/16 Atk/180 Def/100 Spd
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall

Physical recipient #2. Doesn't have the coverage problems DD/Taunt Gyarados does and still lols at phazers.

I'd focus on either physical or special when making a BP team [which I did, btw, for UU]. That way you don't have to get all the boosts, and it will be much quicker, with less chance of letting hax occur.

Also, you'd be surprised how many Gyarados Taunt Vaporeon... excusing it because they "fear" HP electric, is very amateur. I wouldn't give it Roar.. Acid Armor is of much more value here, when the receiver (Lucario) need to be safe from priority attacks like Mach Punch which will 1hko him easily.

I'm not a big fan of Starf Berry when you can't control which boost you'll get. Not to mention I think Ninjask is kinda fail himself when he gets screwed by phazers. Ingrain is pretty much necessary for a successful BP OU team, and the only pokemon that can get Ingrain + BP is Smeargle. Consider using him instead of Ninjask. In the last slot, preferably dumping Gallade, try Gliscor for Taunt + Agilipass.

Ninjask has worked fine for me and I haven't had a Gyarados Taunt Vappy yet. If I ever do, Celebi can handle it, and most likely a Stone Edge Gyarados can too.

The problem with Smeargle is that other than BP, it's useless. Ninjask at least scouts things with its speed. I refuse to concentrate on an entirely physical or special chain, they're stopped too easily. This team doesn't get +6 in every stat before passing to Clamperl for a humiliating defeat. I typically pull off 2-3 mini sweeps per battle, which can only be accomplished if the chain branches. And because it branches, Starf works fine. Any boost is useful and I then form my strategy around it.

Gliscor sounds alright, I won't dump Gallade as he's been doing well. Gyarados appeals to me as well. I'll test them both.

Celebi won't be able to deal with a taunting Gyarados.. Energy Ball doesn't do enough damage to it while it keeps on dragon dancing.

According to your explanation, I wouldn't call it a BP team at all. You're basically hoping your opponent doesn't have Skarmory or any other phazer, so you can safely BP. That is not the case in OU where entry hazard damage is piling up, eventually killing your pokes. Once Ninjask is out, which won't take long at all due to SR, you have nothing to pass speed boosts and a simple Gengar or Yanmega will wreck your entire team.

Good luck, you're going to need it.

I don't have Skarmory troubles. The new Gyarados I have to edit in takes care of them. Swampert/Hippowdon/Donphan are Celebi bait. Maybe Perish Song Celebi? Yawn Umbreon? Articuno? I'm not seeing the phazer problem here.

Speaking of Gyarados, Celebi takes them just fine. I don't know what EVs they're running but I can't think of a single time I haven't been able to kill it with Energy Ball and Recover/Wish off later.

Yanmega, I haven't run into much, but I think Stone Edge Gyara is enough.

Gengar sometimes gives me trouble. I manage to take it down but I would like a better shot at it. Suggestions?

lol you really missed the point.

Ninjask got some speed boosts, now it wants to pass them around... Skarmory switches in and uses Whirlwind as you BP to Gyarados to supposedly "taunt" it. Same goes for other phazers, you won't be able to taunt them in time and your BP chain will be easily stopped. Nothing here can take sleep from common sleepers like Gengar or Yanmega (who both laugh at Celebi). IDK which Gyara you were facing, but if Grass Knot is barely a counter to one with Ice Fang, Energy Ball is definitely less effective, if any.

So then I kill Skarmory and Wishpass to Ninjask to start over. Not hard.

If you have a good idea to get rid of Yanmega and Gengar then please share it.

EDIT: I've been thinking about Zapdos over Vaporeon. I really want a Wishpasser but Zapdos would help the team more...
