Ruby: Torchic
Sapphire: Mudkip
FR: Charmander
LG: Squirtle
Emerald: Treecko.

Notice that Ruby is red and Torchic is Fire which is red, Sapphire is blue and Mudkip is Water which is blue, and then Emerald is green and Treecko is grass which is green!
Silence is a virtue, however sometimes it needs to be broken.

On Sapphire(which I can't play anymore, I broke my GBA!) I chose Mudkip, because I always choose the water starter. I like how they always evolve faster, or at least seem like it.

Wait, why are you even reading this? It's just a random thing at the bottom of my posts!

I've restarted numerous times so I've used all of them. For my current Emerald file, I'm using Blaziken.
Looking for an avatar because I ain't good at making them.

Well for a trainer like me... xD the strongest pokémon is the best pokémon. I don´t prefer Treecko or Mudkip because Treecko won´t have any good attacks and Mudkip´s attack stat is just so horrible so that´s the reason why I choose always Torchic. It has the highest attack stats and whit Sky Uppercut and Blaze Kick you are able to beat e4.

In LG and FR I prefer Charmander because its attacks and its moves are much more better ones. Venusaur I think is pretty useless peace of junk and Blastoise is way too easy to beat.

In every single game that I've ever owned except for Diamond (Where I picked Turtwig) and Yellow (where you were Pika-Screwed), I've picked the fire starter. Now all I have is FR and EM, with Charmander and Blaziken. After I migrate them to my Diamond, I'm going to restart and get the waters.

As always, thank you, PC'ers, for tolerating the crap that comes out of my mouth.

For me, it was:

Ruby & Sapphire: Torchic & Treecko (respectively)
Emerald: Torchic
FireRed: Charmander
LeafGreen: Squirtle

For RSE, I chose what I did, because I wasn't, and still am not, keen on Mudkip; despite the advantages it holds. Torchic was the first Fire type I chose from first playing a Generation-based game, (since Generation I & II had me choosing Squirtle and Totodile, respectively) Treecko, again, was chosen over Mudkip because of my disliking for it, and currently, I still have never used Mudkip, except for Marshtomp; its evolution, in a Battle Tent.

I obtained LeafGreen, first, and thus, continued my choice of starting with the Water type Starter, since other than Generation III, the Water type was a high-stander for me, above the other types for that Generation, but due to the different Legendary dogs you could obtain, in FR/LG, when I obtained FireRed, I chose Charmander, to obtain the next Legendary dog. (as I had obtained Raikou, from LG, and already restarted with Bulbasaur)
