INTRODUCTION

So I took a photography course this semester and I thought I'd share my favorite shots.
These pictures were taken with a bad manual SLR camera with black and white films.
Those are the only pictures I plan to post, so there won't be any new photos [may this thread rest in peace].
Anyway, it was a fun course. Hope you like these pictures as much as I do.

MAN AT WORK

The title is self-explanatory. That was our first project and this little baby was hanged in my teacher's office all semester long.
Spoiler:

Portrait - Young Person

For this project, I had to find a homeless person and take a portrait of him/her. But I couldn't be bothered, so I put that THING on my sister's head and voila.
She likes to play dress-up so that's ok :3
Spoiler:

Panning

The panning technique is used to suggest fast motion. So the foreground subject in action appears still while the background is streaked.
That's my sister again.. you know, without that thing on her head. Yes I know it's overexposed, but panning is pretty hard to acheive, so I'm just glad it worked xD
Spoiler:

Selective Focusing

Changing the focus for the same shot.
Spoiler:

Architecture - Old Door

Spoiler:

Nature - Abstract

Basically, I just had to photograph something in nature, but it has to be abstract.

^^They all aren't necessarily supposed to be the best photos they can be overall, they're to show the different aspects of what was learned.

I think they're great. Sure would be nice to see more that are more just on your own time, but you say you won't be posting more. :(

Selective Focusing in my opinion, is the best of the bunch. They may be all black and white, but I feel SF hits it's point best, and really detailed. Man At Work is also incredible. I really like these, TwixBar, pretty interesting as well. I think you did an excellent job with these photos, I can't really critique them seeing as I fail in photography, but well done.
