In response to this posting on an anime blog, this news has been all over the place today.

I'm a little hesitant to believe it's true, but Bones has had some issues with leaks in the past. If true it seems that Seiji Mizushima won't be returning as lead director this time around since he's still busy with Gundam 00 season 2 and is supposed to have another project in the works after it.

I'm really interested in see where they take the story. People who have seen the document say that it'll go back to the divergence point and just continue on the manga's story. I think that would be the best way to do this since the movie put a pretty definite ending on the storyline.

And more Darker Than Black is always good. The ending to the first season was decent, but it still left a lot to be desired.

Alls I can say is it better give a more satisfying ending then the anime or first movie did...and Ed better get some sense and stop taking on the worlds problems as if they were all his own

I'd be more interested to see them instead make a new series of FMA, that followed the manga faithfully to where it is now and to the end, that be pretty damn awesome imo

As much as I HATED the ending of the movie... I don't know about a FMA2. I mean sure I guess I could go with it (the main reason being the movie, the series was spot on.... but the movie killed it for me), but we'll see.

Hmm, that is interesting. Season 2 for the both of them? And I thought one season is enough. XD Well I am looking forward of FMA 2. I want to see if they will follow the manga this time.
