Just completed this game last night, it's great! If you don't have it already, you can buy it off steam for $19.99 or in the orange box for $39.99, and if you don't have a good enough PC to play it, it's available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 too!

So basically, just discuss Portal in this thread. Post videos, screenshots, whatever.

I absolutely loved it! It took me a while to actually get off my butt and shove some money into Paypal so I could buy the game, but once it downloaded I pretty much sat there and finished the whole game in one sitting. Couldn't even be bothered to take a toilet break... my bladder pained by the time I finished. >_>;

Can hardly wait for Portal 2. :)

I picked this game up after hearing all the reviews earlier this year. :'D I'm so glad I did. I loved everything about it, though I think I might have enjoyed it more on a console because it didn't play all that well on my computer. :[ It doesn't play at ALL on my laptop so it could be worse; I'm currently very deprived of it. ;_;'

The gameplay was amazing--just what I'd expected. :D I just wish it were a little longer, since I zoomd through it pretty quickly. It was still worth every penny I spent on it, and I'd recommend it highly to absolutely anyone.

This is definitely a great game. A bit short, sure, but it still leaves a satisfying feeling after beating it.

I do kinda hate how the first half of the levels was really just introductions using no shots, or one shot of portal, but the final stage is so long it doesn't really matter.

good game indeed

i think its good that it isnt too long, some games i play i can never beat because I have to do other things, but portal i play a good, imaginative game.

and of course you cant talk about portal ithout talking about the end credits song....so beautiful (but strange lyrics)
"Listen,Simon...don't forget. Believe in yourself. Not me who believes in you.Not you, who believes in me. Believe in you, who believes in yourself."

Ahhh, Portal. Strikes the perfect balance of unbelievably fresh gameplay, a feel both scrupulously clean and disgustingly grungy, an atmosphere at once comedic, happy, and downright sinister, and a soundtrack that encompasses all of these things.

Undoubtedly one of my favorite games, ever. And I have a PC that can actually play it well, so that's a big boon.
