YAY! I'm back in pokemon again! I made a new team expirimenting with Shoddy -- great program.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
252 atk/252 spd/6 hp
Adamant Nature
Swarm Ability
- Megahorn
- Stone Edge
- Night Slash
- Close Combat

Scarfer Cross. Takes on leads like Zapdos, Moltres, other counters like Alakazam, Salamence, etc.
With Scarf and 252 spd evs, I get an outstanding 403 speed stat and with a monster like Heracross thats hard to deal with.

Salamence @ Life Orb
252 S.Atk/128 atk/130 spd
Rash Nature
Intimidate Ability
- Dragon Claw
- Thunder Fang
- Hydro Pump
- Flamethrower

My mixmence with a twist, most of the elements in my team are needed here, this mence is a very important pokemon to my team, thunder fang for gyarados and other flying waters, dragon claw for STAB, H. Pump for any rock/ground/etc pokes, and Flamethrower for Ice types and coverage.

Alakazam @ Lum Berry
252 S.Atk/252 spd/6 hp
Timid Nature
Synchronize Ability
- Psychic
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

LumZam', no status is going on this poke. Psychic for STAB, Energy ball for bulky waters, Shadow ball for Celebii, and Focus Blast for dark types (Houndoom, Umberon, etc.)

Umberon @ Leftovers
252 hp/128 def/130 spD
Calm Nature
Synchronize Ability
- Toxic
- Wish
- Mean Look
- Baton Pas

Trap Passing umb. Toxic for annoyance, Wish for support + healing, mean look and baton pass for trap passing. Nothing gets away from this poke, except those damn shed shell Skarmorys.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
252 hp/252 def/6 atk
Impish Nature
- Drill Peck
- Roost
- Spikes
- Roar

Pretty self explanitory, except for the max def coverage for the hardcore def stats. I don't need atk stats much, I only use this for phazing.

Suicune @ leftovers
252 hp/252 def/6 S.Atk
Bold Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Mirror Coat

My last poke', carrys Mirror coat to suprise special grass moves, Calm mind too wall, Surf for STAB, Ice beam for Grass Types.

Summary: As you can see, I use the 3 physical, special, and mixed sweepers, and the same for walls. If theres a poke' with only good physical attacks, I send out skarm. If theres only a special poke', I send out Umbreon. And it goes on. This whole team is too set up a sweep for Either Heracross or Salamence.

If your team is set up to let Hera and Mence sweep, y do u have hera as ur lead?

I think you need to change some of your moves on your mence and replace zam with a pokemon that can cover gyara. I would run a mence with Dragon Pulse/Flamethrower/Hydro Pump/ HP Flying or Roost. Replace the EV's on attack for speed, you really can't sweep unless you get the first attack. Instead of Life Orb, run a Choice Specs/ Expert Belt on it.

As for your gyara counter, starmie would be a good choice.

Starmie @Leftovers
Timid Nature
Natural Cure
160 HP/132 Spa/ 216 Spe

T-Bolt
Rapid Spin
Recover
Surf

T-bolt is there for gyara, rapid spin to get rid of rocks and spikes, Nat cure to absorb status, and surf for STAB.

If you don't want to get rid of Zam, run Hp Electric on Suicune.

Umbreon cannot handle today's hard hitting special sweepers. He is no wall.

This is true. Umbreon's sported as utility, not as a wall.

You have no true late game sweeper so it's going to prove difficult in winning the battle effectively. I recommend you revamp Salamence's moveset to match that of the standard Dragon Dancing one w/ Life Orb. It's a nasty clean up sweeper if you use it correctly.

If you chose to go with my Salamence route, I recommend that you use Yawn in the place of Toxic on Umbreon. Trust me, it makes setting up 3+ Dragon Dances a extremely simple task.

Alakazam is outclassed by Deoxys-S in terms of revenge killing. Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Psychic/Recover makes for a potient check for the likes of Garchomp, Gyarados, and Infernape whom currently give you a lot of trouble.

And with that, you can then change Choice Scarf on Heracross for the sheer bone breaking power of Choice Band. Btw, why did you eschew the superior ability in Guts for Swarm on Heracross?

But...Guts increases all the pokemon's attacks, including Megahorn, by the same amount. I suppose, you could run Sleep Talk and see if idiot Bronzong leads will Sleep you, but I doubt that. I'm thinking Umbreon needs to be removed, and perhaps run Mix-Mence as your lead.

Really? Ok, thanks. I'll consider it. But can someone please tell me which wall I can use instead of Umbreon? Maybe dusknoir for thunder punch and will-o-wisp, but im not sure.

You don't need like 3 walls...

Change Umbreon for Bulky Starmie with T-bolt to counter Gyarados, assume it hasn't DD already.
I find DD mence quite useful and SpecsMence is also nice.

I prefer stealth rock on skarmory, but thats just me. you could also have brave bird instead of drill peck for more power.

im not really a big fan of alakazam in this generation. as flamehaze said, its outclassed by Deoxys S.
i think you should use a deoxys S instead of AlaZam or Gengar, thats if you don't use specsmence.

with suicune running mirror coat is kinda bad in my opinion. it has no recovery, except for the lefties.
If you manage to set suicune up with a few calm minds, it has the potential to sweep an unprepared team and you can't do that with mirror coat.

Alright, I thought maybe I needed 3 walls, but with proof I guess I don't.

And I might just use specs mence with Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Hydro pump, and ???? If I have starmie to counter gyara.

Where do I get Deoxys S?

Nah, not really. If some n00b tries to thunderbolt or grass knot, it usually kills it, plus other suicune (rest+sleep talk) try to wall it, but they are no match. They are seperate options (unless I switch out).

and one last thing, evs and moveset for Bulky Stamie? Thanks.

He's right about Suicune.

And I second Brave Bird on Skarmory. Gyarados sees it as set-up fodder.

Umbreon is more of a Sponge, not a wall =/. Also I'm not a big fan of Zam, as hes so dang fragile! I mean, theres not much he can switch into.

Also, I really do not like your Salamence set to be completely honest :(. I do not like thunder fang at all,

Why dont you try a Toy Mence set?
Salamence @ Life Orb
Brick Break
Draco Meteor
FlameThrower
Dragon Claw / Roost

Hope my constructive criticism helped a little

Here's suggestions:
Mence looks fine, switch T-fang for Dragon Pulse.

Bulky Mie set I think is up in my previous post on this thread. I would replace it for zam.

Umbreon needs to be replaced. My suggestion for a replacement is gengar or another special sweeper that isn't zam. If u go with gengar, let me know, and i'll post a good gar set u won't find on smogon.

Get rid of mirror coat on cune. It does nothing for your team, and it requires good prediction. I would replace it with maybe extrasensory, HP electric, or another move.

172Hp/120 SAtk / 216 Spd or 160Hp/132 SAtk/ 216 Spd
-Rapid Spin
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Recover

thats pretty much it... i love bulkymie, nuff sed. if your gonna use this as a gyara counter, make sure it doesnt DD more than twice, if its bulkie, otherwise don't let it dd at all.

Oh for Specs Mence the 4 attacks should be Dracometeor, dragon pulse, hydro pump and flamethrower/fireblast.

and deoxys-S can be traded from the trading section...if your lucky.

You know, if you don't get the Speed form of Deoxys, but get one in general, go to the meteorites in the city with the casino. Those meteorites change Deoxys into different forms I believe.
