Maximum Ride is a book series by James Patterson. The books was inspired by When The Wind Blows and The Lake House but the character(s) aren't the same (even though they have the same name). It is about 6 children that are called the "Flock" that is 98% human and 2% avian. They have wings and can fly. They were created by a evil lab called the "School". The Flock was only 1 of the 2 successful experiments the School created. The other being Erasers half-men, half-wolf. But it is a very cool book. James Patterson is making a 5th book that will be released in 2009. Have you read it?

Sorry if in wrong section.

Well it is about 6 kids called the "Flock". They were raised in a lab called the "School". They kept them in dog crates. They have always thought they were test-tube babies. One day a guy that works at the School kipnapped them and took them to a cabin in Colorado. Then he trains them to fight and fly and stuff for 2 years. Then he goes missing. Then Angel (the youngest one in the flock) is kipnapped by Erasers and taken to the School. There she finds out Jeb (the guy who kipnapped them 2 years ago) is there probally betrayed them. Now the rest trying to save Angel then they get kipnapped trying to save Angel and taken to the School. Then Jeb tells Maximum Ride (the main character in the book) that she (yes Maximum Ride is a girl) that she has to save the world. Then they escape and Maximum ride gets a voice in her head. Now they are running from the School and Maximum Ride is supposed to save the world.

The plo is much better if you read the books. Also if you do check them out look for The Angel Experiment that is the first book of the series.
