What more do I have to say?

I am just wondering who actually drives here. And if you do, what do you do to save gas?

I deliver news paper as my job; I have to fill up twice a week, at 60 dollars a pop, Ouch!! And that’s in a Honda too.

I drive a Honda to save on gas, kind of hard to argue with 40+ MPG highway.
I really need a new signature.

I drive... but its usually my parents' car. So, really all I have to do is put a few bucks in it.
If I'm with my friends, and they are driving, I usually pay them gas money because the prices are so high. I'm just glad that the gas prices here (The United States) aren't as high as in other countries. :\

So you only put in like 3/4 of a gallon in their car. (you said a few bucks)

And it's seriously more in other countries?! I am definitely moving to Puerto Rico where it is $.69 for a liter of regular!

I usually use Public transportation, but I do have m own car. I usually only have to fill it once a month so while it's still expensive to fill it, it's not as expensive as having to fill it every week.

To save on gas I tend to only go to work and back most of the time. Its 3.87/gal here but I am in Oklahoma and out prices are usually lower than a lot of other places in the country.

But then you live in Puerto Rico....

I definitely have to pay for my own gas. I've been trying to get a decent job to cover the cost of it and let me put some money away, but it hasn't been going well. At the moment I just mow my neighbor's lawn. It isn't much, but it keeps my car fueled. Aaaand, it doesn't help that I drive a '82 mustang, and with a 4 barrel carburetor on top of it.

Well... actually, yes. I don't drive all that far. I live where everything is quickly accessable.
I'm pretty sure it's more than that in Puerto Rico. :P

Gas prices aren't really a problem for me, at the current moment. However; when I go back to school it could be. It's a ten minute drive.
Though I suppose its better than the 20 minute drive I had before I moved. :\

I'm definitely not driving with these insane gas prices. My mother has to for work, but I don't know what she does to cut back. (Driving a Chrysler Sebring by the way) We don't go on many long trips, I can tell ya that. :/ Summer is pretty short in that regard. I mean seriously, $4 here in Daytona, national average is $4.11 from what I heard on the news this morning. o_o So, I ride my bike everywhere, and I have everything relatively close so pretty fortunate unlike others.

I have to drive for my job, would be hard to deliver over 500 newspapers on a bicycle not to mention that college campus is fifteen miles from my house, luckily its all highway. Gas prices are at $4.24 a gallon here, and I live thirty miles form a refinery (WTF?!).
I really need a new signature.

I don't drive yet (I get my permit in a few months!), but when I do I don't see myself driving very often. I'd rather take the bus and spend my paycheck on other things.

Nonsense. Over here in the states everything is going up. Milk. Anything that involves flour. Gas. Taxi fares. Eggs. Everything!

If you have a bike, use it! I ride a bike and I love it. I feel good about it as I am a tad overweight and it is helping me lose some.

Speaking of gas prices, the Valero here sells unleaded for $5.27. Just keep in mind that it has gotten over 5 bucks already in some places.

Ugh, its too hot to walk or ride a bike anywhere when its 120F, but I'm lucky to be working so close to my house. Soooo, the only time I drive is when I have to, like to the grocery store or the bank. Or just use your friend's car, dur hurr.

I drive a 2003 Ford Focus LX, and it gives good gas mileage. Where I live I have to pay $3.95 per gallon(In Texas). Usually for a full tank I have to pay $41. Usually it will only take $20-$30 for a full tank. Not anymore, but I can go a month without filling it up.

If I do, it will be a half a tank. I am glad my car takes unleaded. I don't want to start paying gas if my car takes premium. I don't drive much anyway. The places I go isn't that far of where I live. I only have 10,950 miles in my car and it is five years old. XD

Why do the yanks insist on calling it Gas, when it's clearly a liquid?

As for the prices, the higher the better IMO because people will stop using cars for stupid journeys. Form that public transport will improve.

Nonsense. Over here in the states everything is going up. Milk. Anything that involves flour. Gas. Taxi fares. Eggs. Everything!
Pakistan is on the verge of suffering from hyperinflation at the moment.
