The first and second are too bright for my tastes, and for the third that white pops out just a bit too much. The fourth is the one I like the most as it's got contrast, but it's still unified.

New line art: 1959 Cadillac Eldorado

This is one of my dream cars. It's officially the production car with the tallest tail fins ever produced! It's a beautiful car that owns the road, since it's wide as a boat!

My dream caddy is one of these in a cherry red laquer! Below i have the line art and the preliminery coloration...

My July Pixel Art Contest Entry: Daytona Beast

It's based off the Sprint Monster Moment Ads...
The cars have glows that form monsters... in this case it's a gyarados!

I redid my old Hot Shot sprite to make him more GM brand... he's a chevy stockar now...

Anyhow, got rid of clumpies, redid face and some parts here and there...

...also included orgin form...

And for fun?

I made him in Mark Martin Colors!

As always, Hot Shot look's good in Yellow. (Darn you Bumble Bee!) Anyway, I'm glad you redid it, the Stockar overworld like thing looks really plain though
The stock car ow is based off of my NASCAR sprites template... i just threw it in so people knew what he was supposed to be... the white temp is so i can just paint it up...

... and yes, he looks marvelous in yellow! >Hoping and praying for him to be TF3<

After much work... and time... i have finally created a new fakemon!

Spoiler:

Eidoleon

Lost Soul Pokemon
Ghost Type

Eidoleon are the spirits of long passed Eevees that had died in a tormented state.
These ghosts roam the world looking for someone to mend their souls.
It is said that these Pokemon cry tears of gold that evaporate on contact with air.

So what do you guys think? Yay? Nay? PLEASE GIVE GOOD CRIT... not just "I like it"... Please...

Keep Spriting Everyone!

*Disclaimer: I based my design slightly off a picture from benzophenone-4 on dA but this is entirely my own work.

The outline is just a little bit jaggy... more importantly, where the neck meets the body is kind of lacking in definition. You should add shading to that area to better show how the neck is bending; use sprites with a similar pose as a reference, if you can find them.

everyting he said is what i was thinking, listen to him.
oh wait also i think you should changes the colors to make the shading look a little more difined. idk if that makes sence. haha.

Now that looks excellent. I really don't have much to say about the Fakemon you made. The Concept is great and It even moves 0_o Ha ha very nice. Oop one thing it needs Is a bit of black...like for instance It could use a bit of black for the front two legs right where they look like the split off...Sorry If that doesn't make to much sense.

Do you think i should use a fourth tone of the purple? Or just darken it and then highlight the necks natural curves with the middle tone?

And where does the outline look jaggy? Granted it's a supposed to look a bit ragged along the tail, feet and ears... that was the purpose...

I like the purple... although it's a bit overused for ghost pokemon... what color would you recomend?
wow you may just have something there or to much. But dang keep it up and over the top!
??? I... have not the slightest clue where you're going...

Supportive as ever... THANKS!

I did animate it, but the final pose, the closed mouth one, is the regular sprite... as for the black, i can see what you mean, i think the dark purple outline isn't dark enough down there...

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED! IT'S SOOO GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Alright, here is the revised version:

Toxic, Crimson, Ebony, Slate, Marble

Redid the outline along the belly... it's smoother now and makes more sense. I also extended the arm's outline upward into the body. As for the shading, i redid the neck a bit, but am still unsure exactly how to "define it". Finally, i added some black along the chest, between the legs, and also darkened the outline on the feet a bit.

WHAT COLOR DO YOU GUYS THINK IS BEST? YOUR RESPONSE WILL DETERMINE!

I really like the Crimson and Ebony palettes. But the back right leg looks a little small. And in between the back two legs there is a random pixel. I don't know if you want it there or not but I thought I would say it. The concept is nice and the shading looks great. Good Job and I hope to see more.

Slate. The way the legs go out from the torso is way weird on the back, it might look more natural if it's legs were elongated. IDk really.
IDK... i was thinking more or less, that he doesn't walk, so he really doesnt need the back legs... he floats around... he's a ghost... but like i said, IDK... if you think he needs longer legs, i could do that...

the back two look to short... you're the second person here to say that, and i've had other people say that as well... FOR SURE I'LL ENLONGATE THEM...

I will also reevaluate that random pixel... it was supposed to be the base of his tail...but it does look strange...

i really like Marble, but any of them would be a good choice.
Point for Crimson
Point for Ebony
Point for Slate
Point for Marble
No Points for Toxic... the original...
It's a fourway stalemate... the top two will be chosen; as primary and shiny...

Thanks guys for replying! I APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH! I WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON HIM! THANKS!

I've been busy with college stuff all week... so i haven't had time to really sprite...

I did make this though... it's a "trainer card"... but before everyone starts freaking out, let me explain!

- The entire background, border, and Lance Layer text is all SCRATCHED by me
- the lance layer walkie is made by me
- the rips are those i made long ago...

I figured that there's enough originality in this that it can constitute a spot in my thread...

It's funny, i've been trying to make this for so long now... but i could never get the positioning of the pokemon right... so they danced around...

This is really only a four frame animation...

Thanks for taking the time to look at my stuff!

Keep Spriting Folks!

BTW I AM NOT MASS PRODUCING THIS!!! A.K.A. NO REQUESTS!

edit: i'll be putting up the new eidoleon soon...
