you want to know what grinds my gears lately?

anti-american pricks.

por example, comments like:

"pth. American Idiot."
"you piece of american white trash."
"lol, if [such and such] happened where I live, we would have [such and such opinion]. Stupid americans."
"Americans are a bunch of steryotypical morons."
"F U, you yankie."

I'll stop there because I'm starting to throw up.

---

alright, first of all,
I would like to say one thing.

yeah, don't kid yourselves.
like your country is SOOO PERFECT.
no, no place is perfect.
hey, you want to shoot a anti-american comment?
I could just search up where you live and give you 10 thousand things wrong where you live.
how would that fell? Hm?
fell like telling me I'm a stupid american?

well luckily, I'm not going to.
because I don't want to fit into a sterotype of being a prick.

oh, BTW, before we continue, lets look at american media.
don't like it?
think it's garbage?
well then, why don't you just stop watching it?
problem solved.
*pants* that was SOOO HARD!

thinking that all americans are sterotypical pricks.
IS BEING STEROTYPICAL.

your becomeing the thing that you hate.
congratulations.

you deserve it.

---

basically, what I'm saying is,
there will always be pricks out there.
but there are always realistic exceptions.

thinking that an entire group of people are pricks, and telling them off,
and calling them stupid, your just joining the group of pricks.
growing the population.
way to go! (b^-^)b
I love America! I wanna go to NYC some day, when my family will take me! xD

I'm English though, and that means when I get stuff, in America, it's passed, and they are on the upgrade of it

Which brings me to my new complaint

-When games come out in America, and then in England two full seasons later! Once a game comes out in America, it's in English, they don't change any of the spellings, or change dollars to pounds, to y'know, why does it take so flipping long to even be advertised in England!

Bot don't get me wrong, I love America, so don't worry, I have nobody to blame, i'm just annoyed!

P.S It annoys me when people say bad stuff about America, and if Americans say anything back, they have a go at them for being racist! I'm English and it annoys me

I know I have already mentioned Racism, but I was at my Nans a few days ago, and she is a foster career, [However you spell it] and she had a foster kid there, and he was being racist to Chinese and Japanese people, and he was like
'I'm 1/4 Chinese, so i'm not being racist!'
I was like '¬_¬, it's still racism' and then he started having a go at me, saying that if you're white and you take the mick outta white people then it's not racism, but it is! I know it is!

Gah, I hate that kid!

Molly sorry, but she annoys me to no end.

OH NOEZ! I LOST THE GAME! SORRY!

Many things that have been mentioned...

I cannot stand it when teacher's will tell you what you did wrong but they won't tell you how to fix it :/ Like, I went to my math teacher to discuss what I did wrong on my test she would point out my mistakes and then tell me to just do practice problems to get better. I would LOVE to do practice problems, but I don't know how if you don't help me D8 I mean, that's the reason we were supposed to meet.

Another little pet peeve of mine, I'm not a big fan of girls who boycott Valentine's day. I understand if you don't support it, but don't rain on everyone else's parade by wearing all black specifically for that day and complaining when people get gifts.

Finally, people who act differently to just fit in with another crowd, especially if the people would like them for who they are. There's no need to treat one group of friends differently then the rest.

and yeah \o/

a couple of times like that and they get it right eventually. ^^

What really iritates me is people who judge others, who are thye so choose what's right & wrong? Sure I know if people do drugs and that, it's wrong but I'm not one to hate them or dislike them because of it.

There are sooooo many things I could rant and rave about. But I won't, for over bandwidth use. J/K. But really I'll just say three.
1. Ash Ketchum... I mean, is he completly BRAIN-DEAD??! Every single friggin thing happens to him! Allow me to state a few. the temple of the sea, woah, omg. He gets limitless power and does something like, "eehhh, no i'll just give it to someone else" AAAHHHH IDIOT! Another? All the awesome pokemon he had and STILL HAS! also pikachu, why doesnt he just evolve him already? I know pikachu is like, nintendo's mascot but....

2. people who think Canadians always say eh after every sentence. And that we live in -100000 weather, and we're addicted to hockey, and maple syrup, and this and that! ARG! It's not like that here!

3. Cocky kids....oh no, I mean, wtf? Like one time my school went to a track and field thing(we were in it) and after me and my friend were just hanging out at the playground there, thse three, like 9 year olds come up to us and started talking trash like: "oh you guys are gay, way do you sit so close to each other" and we're like 2 feet away. They said a bunch of other ****, and I was like, "if you don't shut up, I am going to kick your ass! THEN they started being cocky, "oh ya? Your so weak you coulding break a twig!" (one really said that) If they wouldn't have gone, I would have beat the CRAP out of them. I'm not just saying that. They also made cracks about my friend becuase he is a little overweight, so I really would have hurt them.

Thats all for now.

My mom is getting on my last freaking nerve. I went to my dad's house for a week vacation, and almost the second I get back in the car with her to drive me home, she's getting on me and saying how awful I am and how I'm being snippy, and she doesn't even try to realize how snippy and awful SHE is being. I need to get away from her, fast. But I still have one more year of high school. My dad is too poor/far away for me to live with him. And nobody else would take me tn. *sigh*

Wanna know what really grinds my gears?

Sportscasters.
50% of the time they are stating the obvious or over-exaggerating how so-and-so was the best thing they've ever seen in their life. The other half of the time, they are yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs.

Sure, I understand it's a hard job and you need to think quickly and say stuff so you don't bore people... BUT! Maybe they could do a better job?

I think that people who act very cocky make themselves look and sound intimidating and tough for attention. :x

The last point you made about how they made fun of your friend because he's overweight also brings me to a point that's very similar to that of Магия's - judgmental people, especially when they voice their judgments to other people. I can't stand that. I have a friend who constantly judges and critisizes others, and it's annoying because she doesn't even know these people, yet she makes assumptions about them anyway. It makes me nervous, too, because I've seen the way she judges others - how do I know she's not judging me, too?

Coming from someone who does that on a near-regular basis...yeah, that's exactly it XD

Notice how people only do it when they're around other people? If you saw that same 9 year old kid by himself on the street, you can be damn sure that he wouldn't be talking to you or your friend that way XD;

Do you even realize what you're saying..? You want people solely to fist fight. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Verbal fights are the best kinds of fights because they only scar emotionally. Sure, it can be just as painful as a punch to the groin, but most people blow it off, just like that kid at school no one takes seriously. If that kid were to actually punch every kid he saw, he would be suspended or expelled from school, arrested for assault, and he would end up seriously hurting an unlucky kid.

If everyone fist fought if they ever wanted to fight, this place would be chaos. If someone with road rage who just got cut off in their car on the highway suddenly stopped in the middle of the highway to pick a fist fight with that driver, people could get killed. That's why people yell things and flip the bird.

Verbal fights are useful, but all fights are useless anyway, so it doesn't even matter.
Erm...that's not always true. Sometimes being hurt emotionally can be alot harder to just "blow off" then physical pain. Hell, there have been times I've fought with friends over stupid things, then we'd be cool with eachother again 20 minutes later =/

I'm not backing up the whole "everything should be solved through physical violence"-thing, I'm just saying that some things are better off resolved right then-and-there, rather then verbally fighting, and holding grudges against another person.

And not all fights are "useless," people just need to learn to chose their battles, and not just blow up over anything =/

The amount of Pseudo intellects in this thread is unbelievable.

Anyways, to rant properly and not just imitate Jack O' Neill by posting a comment to inflate my ego and never looking at the thread again; I hate the majority of people online. Why? There are certain people I know online who would be considered social outcasts in real life and because they have no respect in real life, they have to beat people up on forums to feel that they have a good life. It's pretty damn easy to insult someone on a forum because you know that the person you're insulting can't punch you in the face, isn't it? No one cares about how much of a failure your life is so stop taking it out on innocent people. No one respects anyone who beats people up online and thinks they're the greatest, period. The sooner people like you learn that, the better.

Another thing that really, really irritates me is when people online moan about their life. Look, no one is part of a forum because they want to hear you talk about how you were slagged earlier today by people that you hate. People join forums to have fun.

Dammit, why can't the majority of people online understand that? No one cares. Period. Stop taking things out on innocent members, stop expecting to get sympathy for every Livejournal entry you make in regards to your pathetic life. Look on the bright side for once and stop attention seeking.

Firstly, attacking another member kind of contradicts the point you were trying to make now, doesn't it?

I don't entirely agree with this. Sometimes, when a person complains about their life or rants on LiveJournal, it's not necessarily a cry for attention. It's an outlet. I've used LiveJournal many times to rant about aspects of my live that have gotten me down, and I'm not necessarily looking for sympathy. I just need a place to vent. Most times, I feel much better after posting the entry, and I'm sure other people feel the same.

EDIT// That said, I do agree that certain things are better left unsaid online.

...You don't see the irony the in what you just posted up? That was basically a massive contradiction just now, bro XD

I understand what you're getting at in the first part about people who flame other people from online because they know they can get away with it, but..that's basically what you're doing in the second part of that by saying "no one cares about hoe much of a failure your life is" =/

If hearing people complain is actually something that pisses you off that much, you're gonna have a hard time through life. Everyone has their bad days dude, and sometimes ranting about it to other people can help you get through those tough times. Plus...isn't that pretty much what LJ was created for anyways? XD;

But again, I totally agree with you about people who are constantly just whining to everyone else about how much their life sucks solely for attention and sympathy without really making any attempt at making it any better for themselves. It's just rather...irritating, actually. I suggest you just try and avoid those people if it really bothers you that much =/

Regarding the unprovoked attack on Jack O' Neill, it was deliberately hypocritical to show you all how easily people can attack someone without even noticing and put up an illogical argument when they are challenged. Yes, you might have to read that sentence a couple of times to understand it but the message is there.

Oh, I do know that Livejournal can be used as a way of venting your feelings (I do it all the time) but when it comes to the majority of entries I read, I can see that the writer of the entry is craving attention and sympathy because he or she doesn't receive it in real life. I wasn't actually bashing Livejournal users, I was more telling them that nobody cared about their miserable excuse for an existence. If I wanted to shove my opinions down people's throats with force, I would, but I prefer to state my opinion and move on.

Well, it depends on whether or not I was flaming the people I was talking to in my second entry. In my personal opinion; I wasn't. I may have been bluntly honest, but I wasn't actually bashing them.

And yes, I know, I'll always be surrounded by people who need to complain about their life. That is life. I accepted that long ago but I can still give out about it, right?

Even if it was intentional, I don't think it was entirely necessary to do so.

No, no, I understand that. I misinterpreted your post slightly, and I apologize. I agree with you here; the people who constantly use LiveJournal to whine about their lives irritate me as well. You're right; it's normally because they don't recieve it in real life. I do know people who act like that, although they're not on LiveJournal. It's still the same thing though, right?

Okay, I got another thing I need to get out of my chest. Here it goes....

Why does people don't want to work anymore?! It makes me wonder why most of them still have jobs! The place where I work, there are too many call ins! >:O And because of them...we have to work twice as hard!

And why people talk while on the job?!! I don't understand that! Well I was guilty of talking to people while they are working, but I don't do that anymore. Because last night while I was scanning groceries for this customer, doing my own thing...my bagger was talking to another bagger! It started to get annoying. And he bagged things so wrong! >.< But I didn't say anything. I don't have the guts.

I just one request, please while bagging please talk to the customer than talking the bagger next to you...ugh! x.x

That is all for now.

Poor old Utada. I thought that sometimes because once a lady in a store just let the till lady pack all the bags. How annoying!

OK, something's been on my chest for a while. OK, let's get it out. WHY IS HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL SO POPULAR? It's so cheesy! I'd rather watch my Mum boil some soup on an open fire in the middle of day than rather watch some cheesy American actors and actresses be so VAIN! I can't understand why people like it!!! They all like Ashley Tisdale aswell, because of her stupid pink dress.

It's so annoying!!! All I see in the Disney store up some mall is HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. A whole section of it. There is only like a few Lilo and Stitch stuff and you know Eeyore and Pooh and that. But I can understand for Wall-E, it's just been released here in England.

And you know what, if anyone thinks I'm critsizing them, I'm not. I'm just asking and letting out my feelings. Thanks for listening! XP

I can't stand how when a large mass of nerds (I'm half and half, I've got a life outside the web) start liking certain music (e.g. Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Queen, etc.), so normal people look down on that music.

Damn, this thread should so be renamed to Pseudo Blog for us commoners. And yes, you know exactly what I mean.

Another thing that really gets me is judgmental people. I know a lot of people think that I'm highly unfair all the time in regards to treating people and that I jump to conclusions about people for no reason with no evidence to backup my statement, but I'm just joking around. Some other people do that too and they're cool. What I can't stand, however, are the people that just look at someone and categorise him or her as a nerd because he or she listens to certain music or wears certain clothes. What judgmental people don't seem to understand is that when they put someone down and decide to not like that person, they could be rejecting a great friendship. That's just stupid. Why dislike someone when you don't know that person? In my world, you can't choose to like or hate anyone until you get to know them, and that's pretty fair compared to how I've seen some of my friends act.

Which brings me (indirectly) to High School Musical. I'm only touching it because someone mentioned it a few posts up. I know a lot of people, online and offline, and maybe three or four people that I know actually liked High School Musical 1 & 2. I can tell you all now, in complete honesty, the movies themselves aren't too bad. Sure the storylines may be cheesy, the characters may be over-dramatized and the songs may be way too catchy, but sometimes all you need is a cushy movie like that to relax. I'd say that the majority of people who hate it are just bandwaggoners who don't want to be treated like outcasts for liking something everyone else hates. Of course, that's pretty damn hypocritical, 'cause I've listened and talked to all my friends quite a lot, and the majority of them complain about other people going with the flow so they don't get slagged off for liking something. Makes you look like a hypocrite, doesn't it?

As for why High School Musical 1 & 2 were such a success for Disney: Everyone watched them. The people who hated them and the people who loved them alike. Curiosity killed the cat and when it came to these two movies, there was no exception.

By now you've all figured out that when I rant, I tend to leave on subject before I finish with it and move onto something that's barely similar to it. It's a problem I'm working on, but can you really work on your personality? That's a funny question, I know a lot of people who think they can work on their personalities and make themselves better people, but can you? It depends, really. On forums, it is easy. You change your posting style or you get a new account and when questioned about it, you just laugh it off and claim that when you posted like that, you were a n00b. That's not the truth; when you posted like that, you were saying exactly what you thought without a care in the world. Now, however, you've learned how to not be politically incorrect and how not to tick everyone off. See, on forums, all people want to do is have fun and live in a perfect, secluded world free of bullies and generally annoying people. Everyone realises that eventually. Trolls get banned, n00bs get infracted, people who don't mess with the order stay. That's the way it should be in real life; everyone should be equal and the people that are there to wreck everyone's fun should be treated below the rest. Instead, the people who nobody really likes think that they are the greatest things since sliced bread and convince themselves that they are the coolest people in school or work or just life in general. Once they make themselves believe that, they make their life's purpose become making fun of other people who are classified as nerds, and that's not right. But that's life, and everyone's going to have to get used to it. On forums, if you behave like that, you're out of there, because no one wants to know what happens in real life. Forums are like living in fantasy, because everyone's here to have fun, and damn, that's cool. However, it's really one person's judgment of fun that dominates all the rest, because forums don't stand for political incorrectness or n00bs. Sure, the staff on any forum can be nice to n00bs and ignore them for a while and the n00b either grows up and becomes a better poster, leaves or is forced to. So on forums, once a n00b grows up, he or she becomes accepted quite easily, because everyone is part of a forum to socialise. Well, the majority of people are, anyways. In real life, once you get classified as socially inadequate, it's pretty hard to change because you will always be yourself no matter what you look like or how you act. Deep down, nothing will change. I oppose to my friends attempting to change their personalities to fit in, because I befriended the people I'm friends with now, not the people they want to be.

Change is interesting. Change is the greatest and most terrible thing there is. A lot of people say that the truth is a terrible thing; change is more terrible than truth could ever be. With change, you never know what's going to happen. Could it be for the best? You'll have to wait and see. With the truth, you sometimes know what's going to happen, and that's better than not knowing at all.

Am I even complaining/ranting here or am I just shouting out my opinions to the forum? I have a feeling that it's a mixture of both but I'm not certain.
'It's been a prevalent notion. Fallen sparks. Fragments of vessels broken at the Creation. And someday, somehow, before the end, a gathering back to home. A messenger from the Kingdom, arriving at the last moment. But I tell you there is no such message, no such home -- only the millions of last moments . . . nothing more. Our history is an aggregate of last moments.'

I am so so so so so angry that some [insert bad word here that I would normally have no problem saying except that this is a forum where youngsters could see it] thought it would be cool to post the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun on the internet after Stephenie Meyer TRUSTINGLY gave it to them, RUINING the book for us Edward/Twilight fans, and making Stephenie Meyer so upset that she can't even finish the book! She's "postponing" it! AGH! I want to cry! And I probably will. XD But before I start crying, I am going to figure out if the PDF file she has of Midnight Sun on her website will be sustainable. If it isn't, the crying shall commence.

I hate how they use regular teaching methods on stupid kids in schools, know it doesn't work, and don't put any money or time into figuring out a way to help them. I tutored more than the teacher taught in math last year, for crying out loud!

you know what grinds my gears until they break recently?

my new spanish teacher.
HE'S A FREAKING PSYCHOPATH.
not to mention he's where gays got thier steryotype.

you see, I was placed in the dead beat end of the school.
his class is on the freaking top floor end.

I got 4 minutes (this includes the time to go to my locker and get stuff)
to get there, and he excepts me to get there on time EXACTLY?!

one of these days when he complains i'm gonna totally kick his ass verbally.
I'll get in trouble, though. Hopefully my dad will have my back.

and he excepts us to know every spanish word known to man.

wana know what else?
JUST BECAUSE it's a three day weekend, he gives us a truckload of homework to do and excepts us to study and memorize all spanish speaking countries AND thier capitals because he's gonna randomly quiz us on it next week.

wanna know the irony in this?
all his students from 7th grade say he's awesome.

It's rather they we're high when they took his classes, or tattooed eyes on thier eyelids so they could sleep and had someone get payed to to thier homework.

UGH! I WANT MY OLD SPANISH TEACHER BACK!!!1

I hate the idea of homework. I mean we go too school for....5-6 hours a day and we go home for like....8 hours and they expect use to do homework? I think NOT! it is unfair as. We get like no time to ourselves in this horrid world!
