Name: Arwen DeCaprina
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Personality: Arwen seems to have the cold, quiet, loner type personality of someone no one wants to be around, whether its because of the coldness in the air around her, or because of the way she talks to them, polite, cool, without a hint of emotion. Its just the way she is, she admits herself that she would like to act a bit differently, but this is the way she’s acted for twelve years, she guesses that this is the way she’s going to act for the rest of her life. So basically people just have to learn to accept her.
When Arwen gets angry, she rarely shows it, physically, at least, but you can tell that something’s wrong, because her voice takes on this icy quality that makes people get a chill down your spine if they’re sensitive enough. She also acts somewhat more polite than she already is, almost overly polite, in fact.
If Arwen gets sad, which she does, just not too often, she sort of damps down, but her voice takes on the same quality that it does when she gets angry. She’s probably going to forget herself and act like a totally different person until she gets over whatever is making her sad. When she becomes depressed, which usually lasts no more than a few days, her voice takes on a hollow and dead sort of quality, and its almost impossible to interest her in anything, anything besides pokemon training, that is. Otherwise, yeah, you win a prize if you manage to spark her interest in anything else. She doesn’t get depressed often though, because not much puts her down enough that she sinks into a pit.
Then there’s another side to her, which most people rarely see, but which most pokemon see often. Its sort of her kind, caring side, she’s shown a lot of kindness towards pokemon, injured pokemon or pokemon that need help, especially. She also sometimes feels the need to help others if they’re sad, or if they need some inspiration, and often manages to give them some hope, or to lift their spirits slightly.
History: Arwen was born in SunyshoreCity, and she had been born early, which nearly killed her and her mother, though, by some stroke of luck, both of them survived. Her legs were partly tangled, though, as a result of her being born early, and in her first year of life she underwent three operations to try and fix her legs, the doctors said that chances were slim that she would survive. Her parents, desperate to save her, agreed to do whatever was needed to save their daughter, and though Arwen grew weaker, it became clear that she had a will to survive, and she did survive, much to the joy of her parents. However, for the first three years of her life, she would barely be able to walk, because though the operations had managed to fix her legs to some degree, it would still be years before her legs could fully recover enough for her to walk. Some physical therapy sped up the healing process, and Arwen was often seen walking shakily up and down the hall, holding onto the rail that her parents had installed years before for her elderly grandmother, and when she was four and a half years old, she visited the doctors one last time, and he said that she had nearly recovered fully, though he was still doubtful as to whether Arwen would really be able to walk or not. Her parents worried that if she needed to be confined to a wheelchair as she had been these past years, she would be teased by others, and how would she follow her dreams of being a pokemon trainer?
Arwen, though becoming slightly impatient at the fact that her legs, though able to support her, refused to work like they should, but still practiced walking up and down the hallway. It became an extremely common sight for her parents, and they often saw her out of her wheelchair. She used her wheelchair less and less, finally not using it at all. Her parents, almost overwhelmed with joy, were nothing less than grateful that their daughter would indeed be able to follow her dreams. Arwen, meanwhile, feels she owes it all to the love and support of her parents. Though she didn’t attend the pokemon trainers school in JubilifeCity, she still wanted to become a pokemon trainer, and so, on her tenth birthday, she received an egg. She loved and nurtured it, and eventually, it hatched into a tiny Sableye, undersized, weak, and helpless, it could do nothing but cry out helplessly for the first week, though it soon became stronger. Currently, it follows Arwen everywhere, and she has already started teaching it attacks, mostly for her Sableye's benefit.
Appearance: Arwen is somewhat tall, standing at 5'4, and a little...different looking. She'g got natural platinum blond/white hair in a shade that most people would have to color their hair in order to acheive, with streaks of black in it, or some dark color that looks so close to black that you can't tell, at least. Her build is slim, bordering on skinny but not quite there yet, and her bones don't stick out, except on her hands. Speaking of her hands, she has these long, pale fingers, which are nimble and quick, but they appear very similar to toothpicks, which she hates, and she's got oval palms, one with a scar across it from a childhood accident. Her skin is almost white, and in dim lighting she may appear to be sickly, though it doesn't appear that way in natural or bright lighting. Onto her clothing, you can certainly say she's got individuality, well, her outfit is usually made up of blacks, whites, and grays, and other neutrals, though she often wears colored accessories. She wears, most of the time, black lace up hi-tops(you know, like the Converse ones, only I don't know if Converse exists in Pokemon), white socks that reach to her about three inches above her knees, and are free of any wrinkles and bagginess, black shorts, and a fitted black and white striped v-neck long sleeved t-shirt with a white scooped neck short sleeved t-shirt that is a bit shorter than the striped one. She also wears black armwarmers, though not too often, she more often wears black gloves (fingerless) that only reach about an inch past her wrists, and bright headbands and scarves, yes, she is very original, and somewhat odd, though she might dress her outfit up or down depending on the occasion, and, obviously, because she doesn't wear the same outfit for days and weeks and years, she does wear other things, such as replacing the socks and shorts with either black or white rolled up sweatpants, or changing the shirt color and stuff like that. Around her neck she wears a chain with a long feather hanging from it, most people take it to be the feather of a bird pokemon such as Pidgiot, but she believes it to be a feather of the ledendary pokemon, Lugia, who is rumored to reside in the Whirl Islands, who knows though? Her hi-tops and arch supports seem to be surgically attatched, though, and kept in prime condition, and she always has an extra pair of both in case something happens (she is very attatched to her hi-tops, almost like she has some sort of bond with it or something.) Oh, and the black beret, can't forget the beret, and the white, rhinestone studded belt with a silver buckle that has a picture of a the legendary pokemon, Lugia.
Her backpack? Well, she does carry a backpack, its a sling backpack, which means its slung over one shoulder, and the strap goes around your chest and reaches to your waist, or your hips, depending on how low you wear it. Arwen wears it pretty low, and its (gasp!) black, with turquoise trim, a lot of turquoise trim, because that was the only backpack she had that hadn't fallen apart, actually, it hadn't fallen apart yet because it was nearly brand new, but whatever, she loves it.
Hometown: SunyshoreCity, mainly because Arwen’s parents wanted their daughter to grow up near the ocean, and because that was where both Arwen’s mother and father had grown up.
Preferred Starter Pokemon: Sableye-male-it has much larger and sharper teeth than usual, which often causes trouble as they can inflict bad damage, sometimes accidentally, and hates its pokeball, only willing to go in when extremely tired.
Preferred Starter Region: Sinnoh, but it as it is starting from Johto, I’ll start from Johto (Arwen will have traveled to the Johto Region by means of boat.)

Arwen walked up the road leading to Cherrygrove City, her eyes fixed upon the map she was carrying, and muttering to herself.
"I'm pretty sure its just up this road, at least, that's what this map says, I hope I'm not reading it wrong."
Meanwhile, her Sableye trailed behind her, almost running in order to keep up by now, because he was so much smaller than Arwen. Just then, Arwen glanced behind her, and picked up Sableye, placing him on her shoulder,
"come on, why don't you ride with me till we get to Cherrygrove?"
Sableye gently bit Arwen's ear to show his thanks, it had learned not to bite too hard by now, unless he wanted to risk getting his trainer angry with him, though so far, Arwen never had lost her temper with him, though she had gently scolded him before. She had a way of making him feel somewhat guilty when he did something wrong, without losing her temper at him.
"Oh, I see Cherrygrove City! Guess my map reading skills aren't as bad as I thought they were, are they, Sableye?"
"Sableye!" Sableye agreed, his eyes fixed on the small city ahead of them.
"Won't be long now, then after we pass through Cherrygrove, we'll be able to get to Violet City, where the first gym is. But let's first get to Cherrygrove City."
Sableye dug its claws into Arwen's shoulder to keep from falling off, as Arwen lifted the map up to her eyes once more, then heard a fluttering in the trees above her.
"Hey, Sableye, look! There's a flock of pidgies!" She exclaimed as a small flock of pidgies flew above their heads, chirping, Arwen stood there until their wingbeats faded into the distance before she began to walk again, getting closer to Cherrygrove City with each step. Suddenly, she felt Sableye's claws dig deeper into her shoulder, and then Sableye's weight was gone, it landed in front of her, grinning.
"Something wrong, Sableye?" Arwen asked her pokemon, who was still grinning somewhat mysteriously, although it always did grin mysteriously.
"Sable, sableye!"
"Ah, well, if you want to lead the way into Cherrygrove, then feel free to lead."
"Sableye!" Sableye ran ahead, and Arwen, laughing, ran to catch up with her pokemon. After a while, Sableye slowed to a walk, occasionally running for a period of time before slowing down again, meanwhile, Cherrygrove City was getting closer and closer. It wasn't that big of a city, but that didn't really matter, they had reached their first city....almost, and Sableye was at last going to lead the way. Somehow it didn't seem quite as shy anymore, which Arwen took as an accomplishment. She had been trying to help Sableye overcome its shyness, its willingness to lead the way into Cherrygrove was another step in the right direction. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes, and Sableye froze, eyeing the bush warily, but the bush stayed still, not another leaf even moved, and Sableye kept on moving forward. Arwen ran forward again to catch up with Sableye. Sableye turned to look at her, and made a gesture with its arm, just then, the bushes rustled again, Sableye stopped, looked towards the bushes, and approached them cautiously. Just then, a weedle emerged from the bushes and crawled across their path, not even noticing Arwen or Sableye, and quickly disappeared through another bush, Sableye glanced at Arwen, who laughed, and nodded for Sableye to continue moving forward. They reached Cherrygrove City in a matter of minutes, and Arwen stopped to read the sign by its entrance.
"Cherrygrove City" It said, "The City of Cute, Fragrant Flowers."
"Cute, fragrant flowers?" Arwen remarked, "that sounds interesting, come on Sableye."
Just then, Sableye ran back to her and crawled back up to her shoulder, perching itself there. Arwen wondered what people would think of Sableye, when she arrived in the Hoenn Region on her way to the Johto Region, some people had glanced fearfully at her Sableye, Arwen wondered what about Sableye could possibly have frightened them. But she kept Sableye on her shoulder anyway as they entered the city.
