I already encountered this problem 2 times now. :\
Both were in the Emulation section;first was in the Simple Question's Thread, 2nd was in Shiny Gold's Thread... :\

anyways, in my case, a comment was the last comment in a last page, and if I reply, I will be making a new page on that certain thread, right?
So if the last comment was numbered 2999 outside the thread, if I view it after I enter the thread, it's number 3000, which means it's the last comment on the current page, which is page 120.

here's the problem...
after I made/sent a comment, suddenly, my internet connection hang. :\
after a while, I returned to the homepage.
I check on the thread where I posted, and outside I saw my nick as the last poster who made a comment, which was good, but, the post number was still 2999... :\
I click on the little arrow thingy which will direct me to the last post (suppose to be that I should be directed to the new page, 121), but I was directed to the page 120, and page 121(where my post was suppose to be located) isn't present. :\

I hope you get my point.
Sometimes, it'll be fixed after another poster makes a post...

Clarifications is what I need, though, thanks~

I know what you're talking about. I remember it happening months ago to me in Member Fanclubs.

Commonly called a "ghost post," simply means the database "ate" your reply from showing. Usually won't show up until someone else posts, like you said. I usually just move on and wait. In some cases I replied again later and simply deleted that previous post.

So basically, it should be fixed once another person posts. I don't know if this is the exact clarification you're looking for, but yeah... I suppose it's just another thing where a PC hiccup occurs.

Anyway, if you want to see that invisible post to reply, you can always select the "Go advanced" option in the reply box. That way, you'll see the last posts that thread received, incluiding the ghost one.
