No, this is NOT a theme team, just some OU team.

Anyway, back to the team...

In my opinion, the Metagame has turned to Revenge Killers, instead of the old style Stall teams everyone used to have, like me. =[

Therefore, while I'm displeased with the current state of the metagame that's dropping walls, I have assembled a very offensive team of 6 on Shoddy, the testing for this team shall commence soon, just wait patiently.

Also, do note this team does not really counter much, it just Revenge Kills most threats that are not thoroughly countered. =)

~ The Crew

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly [ +Atk -Sp.Atk ]
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
Comments:
~ Yes, it is the Aerodactyl that has been the new trend lately, Lead SR Aerodactyl! Don't shoot me for using such a common Aerodactyl set, by the way. =/
Taunt is a lovely move on Aerodactyl, stops enemy leads from setting up Stealth Rock, which is such a popular move these days, while setting up its own.
Stone Edge and Earthquake also provide excellent coverage, which is obviously needed on anything in my opinion, I believe the majority of you people will also agree. ;)
Salamence @ Life Orb
Rash [ +Sp.Atk -Sp.Def ]
120 Atk / 176 Spe / 212 Sp.Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Brick Break
- Fire Blast
- Roost
Comments:
~ Yes, I love spamming Salamence on every team I have. ^_^
Anyway, this is the classic MixMence, a powerful bomb and most likely the most useful Salamence set right now.
Draco Meteor + Fire Blast + Brick Break provides an unresisted combination that we all just love, and it additionally breaks many Walls.
Draco Meteor is a lovely STAB, known for being a Dragon-type Overheat, except with much less resisters, all of which are hit by Brick Break and Fire Blast.
Roost in general, makes this last 10x longer then if it were to have no Roost, since Stealth Rock damage and Life Orb damage tends to add up quickly, yes?
One may also note that I use 216 Spe EVs not the standard 136 Speed EVs. That is because I find outrunning Lucario not just Heracross much more important now.
Gallade @ Choice Band
Adamant [ +Atk -Sp.Atk ]
64 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Spe
- Psycho Cut
- Close Combat
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
Comments:
Choice Band Gallade is much like a Choice Band Machamp, except 25 more Base Speed and the power to get rid of Weezing immediately, that method is called Psycho Cut. =D
Close Combat is what we call a blessing also known as Dark and Steel-types-be-gone.
Ice Punch, how I love you, and how you get rid of Batman also known as Gliscor.
Night Slash on the other hand, gets rid of Cresselia and Dusknoir.
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Timid [ +Spe -Atk ]
252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power Ice
- Explosion
- Earth Power
Comments:
~ Yes, this is a glorious Heatran, with Timid nature to outrun Weavile and all Pocket Monsters with 130 Base Speed, unless they were to run a novelty Scarf set.
Fire Blast is the main STAB, and cannot be removed for something like Flamethrower, it needs the extra power with Timid now, in my opinion, while being able to stay in for more then a turn, so no Overheat. =)
Earth Power hits the otherwise free to set-up or switch in Rock-types, which is always lovely, makes it much less set-up fodder for them. :D
Hidden Power Ice barely OHKOs Garchomp, but, you must admit it's still a OHKO.
Explosion, how do I explain it, is basically the big boom of a volcano, the end of its wrath for a while.
* Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Jolly [ +Spe -Sp.Atk ]
Arena Trap
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace
- Sucker Punch
Comments:
~ Dugtrio was one of the best Revenge Killers in ADV, and while it may be a bit weak by today's standards, its Arena Trap is a valuable ability, and with 388 Atk and Earthquake, it can be quite helpful.
Earthquake is the most scary move this Pocket Monster possesses, and for those annoying Flying-types, Stone Edge would love to meet them.
Aerial Ace may seem rather poor on anything, but considering it takes out Heracross and Breloom, you can't really complain, right? ;)
Sucker Punch catches those faster Pocket Pocket Monsters, mainly Scarf Gengar, a very common set for Gengar these days in my opinion.
Lucario @ Life Orb
Modest [ +Sp.Atk -Atk ]
68 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 188 Speed
Focus Blast
Agility
Hidden Power Ice
Shadow Ball
I'm so sorry Lucario, I left you out while posting this. =/
Anyway, this is a rather more offensive Agility Luke then the standard one.
One may ask why Focus Blast? Well, wouldn't you like to 2HKO Blissey?
46.93% - 55.21%
While it doesn't always 2HKO Blissey, it comes pretty close, and since Aerodactyl sets up Stealth Rock, it's a guaranteed 2HKO, basically.
Hidden Power Ice was forced to be used courtesy of Salamence.
Shadow Ball and Focus Blast hit EVERYTHING for neutral, so why not? ;)
Yes, 188 Speed outruns Timid Scarf Gar by 1 point, to KO immediately with Shadow Ball. <3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Excuse my font colors if even they're annoying.

Also, please PM me if you are displeased with the fonts representing each Pocket Monster, and kindly suggest a different color.

Yes, I posted this team on Smogon and just copied and pasted it here, so please don't shoot me or call me a poser of someone else. =/

*Also, I am really tempted to replace Dugtrio with something else, please do kindly suggest something.

LOL at the thread title XD

Love that Lucario set, as you most probably know ive used this set and it tears offensive teams a new one, thing has like 3 counters ._.

As for the team : - Big fat juicy seaworm Gyarados weakness, you cant even revenge kill it effectively =o. Maybe something over that Dugtrio which you seem to want to replace =p. Vaporeon, Porygon 2, HP Electric rest talk Cune or at least something to revenge kill it. You know the drill, Scarf Gar and what not =p.

I also think you have one too many evs on mence 120 att / 212 sp.att / 176 speed (280 speed)= 510 evs. (And its 176 speed evs + Speed nature to outrun + speed nature lucario iirc, if thats important to you.)
