I've had that slogan for three days now... Anyways, how do you know that Pokemon like the ball? We don't know what's inside the ball do we? How can we tell? Sure... they might like it, but there's also a chance that it might lock them in in liquid state. Until we know the insides of a PokeBall when a Pokemon is inside it, then we do not know how cruel (or nice) it is.
Also, I didn't say they didn't fight alongside humans, but by making them fight, they are attacking their own kind (generally, not just say an Eevee vs an Eevee or something similiar). They might not want to fight, but they have to, to protect their trainer, who just keeps it inside a PokeBall all day.

I'm not that serious am I? *realises that he does seem to be* Eh he he he... *hides*

But, around where I live, no one actually likes Pokemon. So... no one really says it's too violent, since they haven't played on it. I'm not actually sure what other people would think if they played with it. :/

I sadly say it's true. Once, many years back, I little boy wanted to be like Scyther, so he grabbed two butcher knives from the kitchen, put one in each hand, and 'battled' his little sister. He didn't severely injure her, and he didn't want to...but still, it scares me. I can't stand the thought of a poor little kid killing themselves over Pokemon.. ;-;

Any person in their right mind will not do something so stupid. That'st eh mother's fault for not keeping an eye on teh little lunatic. :\ The pokeball is designed to contain a habitat that is comfortable to teh specific pokemon inside it. I read that somewhere, but where I don't know what. And the pokemon may be abttling each otehr, but they see it as a form of enjoyment, as no one gets truly hurt from it unless someon goese too far, no different than a good game of football.

Nothing Causes Violence, its the way people think. Like I said previous times, Japanese People (whether 8 or 88) are less likely to copy STUPID stuff off TV as Americans (or just plain stupid people) would.

A way to sum it all upin a nutshell. People who try to be a pokemon that are crazy enoguh to go around swining butchers knives need to be committed, not pampered and then sue whomever they were trying to imitate.

I have had that slogan, for 5 or 6 days now, thank you.

Pokemon never complain about the ball, and if the Pokemon doesen't want to protect you, have you noticed what it does in the game? 'Onix decided to take a nap', and stuff. Part of the storyline, is that Pokemon naturally like you. I don't know why they did that, they just did.

Anyone that seriously committs any crime, or does anything dangerous because of Pokemon has a serious mental problem.

This is Dateline NBC
Later in the news; has the Pokemon phenomenon gone too far...

...

"Pocket Monsters" by Connie Chung

Last nite police say 5 year old Kyle [Bleep] tried to physically force or stuff his 7 year old yorkshire terrier into whats being called a pokeball, fataly wouding it several times.
To you and me its obvious that this would never turn out as portrayed on the popular kids television phenomena, Pokemon. ...
^ come on that was funny

^ too bad i disclaim all uses of Connie Chung and Dateline stating that it was never true.

Hell yeah.

I can say hell right? Cause i can't say damn or muk or psyduck or rattata or bastard.
