Those are the current nominees for next year, Metallica among them. Jonas Brothers have only been around since 2005, so they'd need to last another 22 years before even being considered. They'll probably have disbanded and been forgotten about by then, so no chance of them being inducted any time soon.

Ohh, no no no no. They sound whiny and constipated when they sing. or at least one of them does, I can't tell the difference. I will throw myself down a flight of stairs if that happens. I mean.. COME ON. ><;

But I guess now any group could if they just get alot of money from those little girls, meh.

Where did you hear this? Some JB fansite? They're not even on the nomination list Ben Kenobi provided. Also, they're not even rock and roll. It's called pop, people! I hate that Disney is marketing their crappy pop artists as rockstars.

WTF! Was my Gay Edit at Uncyclopedia not early enough!?

Disney is turning into a Pandemic for little children, seriously, every night after doing my... Business... I get some water and hear the Mutafriggin Television in my brother's room on Disney Channel.

Jonas got my brother zombified and now their moving up a step?

May the Jee-man himself nuke them.

You have to actually be... you know, good to be in the Rock and Roll HOF.

Look at the inductee list. Their not even on there, and the bands/musicians that are have been around a long time, and are all talented. Metallica and Jeff Beck, among others, were making music long before those losers were even born, so the fact that they are even being considered in a rumor is bad enough.

I will never, NEVER, find the appeal in Disney musicians. In fact, the overall appeal in Disney itself has gone so far down the toilet in the past few years. They saved face a bit back in the late 90's/early 2000's when Toon Disney still had decent programming, but they even took that away, and replaced it with the crap their feeding people now (and, for some reason, kids are eating it up, and enjoying it).

Back to the subject on hand, there is no way this can be considered anything more than a rumor. If they ever want to be considered, they'll have to, for one, magically obtain some talent, and two, still remain a band for about, oh, I'd say 10-20 more years before they will even be anything more than an afterthought among people not into the crap that Disney is producing today.

ACK. I ACCIDENTALLY VOTED YES. So if no more than one vote goes for yes, you know that this thread is 100% against the JB induction. That's ridiculous! I haven't seen the inductee list but seriously...they haven't been around nearly long enough. I'll admit, I like them as a band and a few songs maybe, but there is just not a single teeny eensy weensy possibility that they should be considered. It's gotta be a joke or..something else.

I also agree that Disney tries way too hard for kid stars. Apparently, not a single girl is permitted to do a disney show nowadays without coming out with an album 1-2 years later. It's pathetic. Why do they do that to their actors/actresses? Can't people just leave well enough alone?

IF the JB's were in the HOF, I would actually believe that the world was coming to an end.

I actually really like them. And Miley! It's fun to listen to something that doesn't have "serious", "deep", or "dark" lyrics. Just because they're geared towards children doesn't mean that they lack talent. I'll admit, they don't sing spectacularly, but their songs are catchy and insanely fun to drive to. No, none of them are attractive - they're much too young. Besides, would you let your ten-year-old listen to Slipknot? Ludacris? Brokencyde? I wouldn't.

That said, I voted 'no'. To put it simply, they are not Hall of Fame material. It doesn't matter how catchy their songs are, they aren't cut out to be in the HoF.

Honestly though, all the talk about killing them is sort of immature. I'm not singling anyone out, I just noticed it twice in the thread.

I'm slightly stuck-up and aesthetics-obsessed, so it's highly unlikely you'll see me use anything but shiny Pokemon.
Deal with it. :]

Good music doesn't have to be dark or bear deep lyrics at all. I mean, look at the Beatles. I'd certainly let my children listen to them instead of a bunch of kids with no talent whatsoever.
