Has anyone tried this Installers for the XP (these are for themes)

http://keznews.com/3153_70_Vista_Themes_For_Windows_XP_with_Installers

I was trying these if it's safe and no bad effects for my PC. I liked a Vista/Longhorn Theme for my XP, the current theme sucks.

ARGHH!!!!!
If anyone needs help in their hack, PM me, plus if anyone needs help in transforming their XP Computer to another OS PM me also.

You can change the current theme or visual style of XP to an unsigned one by patching uxtheme.dll you will find many guides if you google it but if you want to do it the easy way and install a whole transformation pack http://www.crystalxp.net/bricopack/

After Both of these methods uxtheme will be patched and then you can install custom themes and visual styles my favourite would be OminOS Final

I haven't tried it, but it looks fine. There is a "Vista Transformation Pack" somewhere on the net, that may prove more effective. They will both take their toll in your CPU, though.
what do you mean take toll? you mean this also?

"taking a toll" usually means that you would be sacrificing something, however in more recent versions of the vista transformation pack the amount of system resources used by the pack itself has decreaesed alot. so while you would be sacrificing a little bit of system resources you would be gaining a more vista-like user experience on your XP computer.
(please note that if you're computer has minimum specs, ei: 1.2GHz or lower CPU and 512Mb RAM, then it would be a good idea to lay off the transformation pack.)
