I used to stare wide-eyed at my brother when he talked back to my parents, but now after all these years and I'm in his position, I see where he was coming from. Parents think they're ALWAYS right, even when they know what they're saying makes no sense whatsoever. Sometimes, talking back is the only way for me to get my point across.

My mom isn't very strict so I never really had to for real.

I don't use "uber" Pokemon, I don't calculate stat values,
I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about
natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them
like individuals instead of brainless drones. If you use this
philosophy, copy & paste this into your signature.

I feel the same....even though you know for a fact that you're 100% right, they still bash at you. ;;

But you gotta remember, they gave you life; without them, you would not be here.

Please elaborate on that reasoning (j/k).

Yeah, I talk back to my parents MANY times, but not too much to be considered a "bad boy". It's just that parents get EXTREMELY annoying in my house. I feel like I just wanna skip 2 more grades and Get the fat cow to Berkley.

Oh, yes. :/
Unfortunately, my youngest sister does it as well, especially to my dad. And I yell at her about it but of course, that's hypocritical so I'm trying to stop.

...
At least, not in her presence.

But... ugh. My mom's the worst because she NEVER admits she's wrong. NEVER. And I keep trying OVER and OVER to tell her that she IS wrong and trying to tell her what's right, and I don't mean just a fight. Like... it could be where something originated from or what a word means and I end up yelling at her because she infuriates me so much and then she gets all snippy asking WHY on earth am I yelling at her for no reason? <____<;

My dad... ugh. I feel bad cuz I snap at him for the littlest reason, and all he does is look at me in a warning way. I'm trying to stop. :/

Uh....I never really have a need to. My parents were strict back in the day, but once I went off to college, they eased up a bit. Now, my mom and I are like...best friends in a sense. haha.

Even when I do talk back, it doesn't matter. I'm an adult, so they treat me like one. That's all there is to it.

I'm slightly stuck-up and aesthetics-obsessed, so it's highly unlikely you'll see me use anything but shiny Pokemon.
Deal with it. :]

My dad and I are very much alike because we're both quite combattive, so we do butt heads very often, resulting in me talking back to him a lot. My mom and I get along better because we're kind of opposites. For the most part, no, I don't talk back to my parents very often, but it does happen from time to time.

I don't really talk back to my parents because I would get trouble and it is disrepectful and usually I'm the one who's in the wrong, but my parents have been really edgey and blaming everything on me lately, so I get sick of taking all their bullcrap so I do talk back to them occasionally when I know I've done nothing wrong. :(

Yeh, I always talk back to my parents. I hate it when they boss me around. I'm just like nope, screw you.

i wanna be the wind that fills your sails,
& be the hand that lifts your veil.
& be the moon that moves your tide,
the sun coming up in your eyes.
be the wheels that never rust,
& be the spark that lights you up.
all that you've been dreaming of and more,
so much more, i wanna be your everything.. <3

considering I live away from home....
anyway, when I am home there's really nothing that goes on to warrant a fight, I just drop political stuff just because it bores me when they start discussing it, other than that. When I was alot younger I could remember getting a good butt whupping from my mom, can't remember what for though >.<

Back when I was growing up, I always fought with my Mom. I was THIS close from attacking her.

As I got out of school and been working since 2004, we've calmed down a lot. Mainly because she works mornings and I prefer shifts during the day.

Considering my dad has the tendency to act like an overbearing upstart who feels as though he's above everyone just because he's the man of the house, yeah. I tend to get in a lot of disputes with him. Though my mother does as much as I do. Most of my disputes tend to start with me defending my mum, because he seems to think that just because she's easily frustrated and tends to have attitudes when agitated suddenly means she has a mental illness. >_>

Unfortunately, I do. D: There are many times when my mother and I just aren't on the same page, sometimes in completely different libraries, if you get what I mean. D: Do I prefer talking back? Of course not. Some cases I just have to be defensive. >_>

Not usually. The most I'll ever do is get annoyed and get on mom's case when she makes me clean up her messes. Honestly, I don't mind doing dishes, but when she uses EVERY DISH IN THE KITCHEN in every meal, it's quite tedious. XD Now that I know how to cook, I also know that using everything is just impractical and not needed. Dad gets on her case about it too so when I talk back all annoyed, I know my opinion isn't unfounded. Doesn't change that I have to do all those dishes though; it just makes me feel a little better. :P

Other than that I can't think of when I might talk back unless I'm being a little sarcastic in a mean way. My brother's AWFUL for it though. x_o He and my mom get into shouting matches all the time until my dad or I (or both of us) come and tell them both to STFU. 8D;
