Er..yeah, you posted some spoilers and that's clearly against Other Games' Rules. :| Especially when I haven't completed the game.

But on topic, I love the game. Haven't had much time to play it lately, or any game for that matter, but it's a superb addition to the franchise. :D

Yeah, this one game made me fall in love with the sea! Though I didn't like the idea of taking this to a totally different thing other than Zelda...

Spoiler:
@ Aurafire:
You mean temple of the ocean king? That was the main reason why I loved Phantom Hourglass. It was the most heart stopping dungeon in the game! It was like playing hide and seek, only difference here is that you die if you lose!

Short and ridiculously easy, but a whole lot of fun. Like every other Zelda game since A Link to the Past, really. I'm not keen on Phantom Hourglass' style, because I don't like the cel-shaded Link, but for a DS game it was extremely impressive. Its also the first - and, come to think of it, the ONLY - game I've played that PROPERLY utilizes the touch screen. But the fact that it is both too short and too easy lets it down tremendously.

I loved Phantom Hourglass. Little Toon Link/Cell shaded Link won my heart over since Windwaker, and when the DS game came out, I was hooked. <3 Going back and forth to the Temple of the Ocean King was repetitive and annoying. I always ended up having to rush through it because of the time limit and the Phantoms. Other than that, the game was pretty fun. Captain Lineback became a favorite character of mine.

The comedy was funny as well. That one point at the end that involves the sword and the old man made me laugh quite a bit.
Spoiler:
You mean the part where Oshus says "Give me the Phantom Sword" to Link, and he does the twirly thing, but about halfway through
Oshus just takes it off him, leaving him standing there with a dazed look on his face?
Yeah, that was funny ;-) I also like the part where
Spoiler:
Linebeck is stuck in the Ocean King Temple and says he has a sprained ankle, and then you let him out and he runs for his life... lol.

Too much information. Annoying huh? Welcome to my world. :-S

I still feel that game had the best use of the DS's features to date. It's right up there in my favourite games for the console. The only thing I have left before I can set it aside as complete is to grab the rest of the ship parts and I'm only missing... maybe 11 more? It's the first Zelda game I've come so close to gathering everything in.

The Temple of the Ocean King did get repetitive but for me, the rest of the game more than made up for it. ♥

I loved it but its not my favorite Zelda gamee. i loved how I got stuck on that part where you had to combine a map at the top with one at the bottom, I was stuck on that for at least 3 hours. Its a fairly decent game, but the bossess are way to easy, am I right.

The only full set I have is the... tropical set, I think? Or maybe the bright set? x_o Augh and it took me forever to get all of that one.

I have most of the gold pieces though, and they're supposed to be the hardest to collect. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get the rest.

Overall a good game, but I absolutely hated the Temple of the Ocean King. Screw time limits and screw stealth. Zelda isn't about that.

If it wasn't for that incredibly disgusting piece of crap, I'd have actually really liked the game. But that just ruined it for me.

Wow you gous really hate the temple dont you. I acually found it the best part. Also wackachamo. Time limits and stealth have been used before in zelda. Majoras mask and ocorina of time had em. I might be aged the same age as you but ive been playing zeld since 4 years old. The par that ruind it is the sea.I hated it and without that northwest portal its a pain.

I didn't like the game. I love the others in the series but I generally hate stealth sections and time limits in games, so the Temple of the Ocean King just annoyed me. I actually got up to the second to last section of the Temple (for the Northeast Sea Map) but just got so sick of going through the same dungeon that I haven't played it in months.

I might have enjoyed it more if the controls were normal. Just because the DS has a touch screen doesn't mean the game couldn't have given an option to use normal controls. I hope the next DS Zelda game (which I believe Nintendo have confirmed) returns to normal controls with a wider election of weapons and weapon upgrades.

Compared to PH, other Zelda games have very few stealth sections and you don't have to do them over and over again. I also hated MM by the way.
