What the title says. My first one was Aladdin way back in 1994.
That was a really kick ass movie. <3

lol, the only really old movies I remember seeing in theaters was Toy Story and the Lion King. I can't remember any other movie I've seen. D: [/fail]

I think my first drive in movie was was the perfect storm. lol, I fell asleep half way through the movie and when I woke up it was over so I was all...sdgdfhgdfh wut.

How you can all remember such distant memories is beyond me and very impressive. The earliest movie I can remember going to see is Scooby Doo. The one with actors; not the cartoon, and that wasn't even that long ago. About, six years ago-ish. But I'm nearly positive that that's not the first movie I've seen in theaters. Most of the early movies was in the phase when my family rarely went out. So we have them all on DVD and all that good stuff. But, as I'm typing this I'm thinking Lion King. So that may have been the first movie I seen in theaters. But, like I said, I can't remember so far back.

I don't have vivid memories of it or anything, but I do vaguely remember seeing An American Tail: Fievel Goes West in theatres with my parents when I was really little. They bring it up a lot, though, so maybe I'm mistaking my imagination from what they tell me for memory. Regardless, whether it was the first movie I saw in theatres or not, it's the earliest I know of. :D Now that I look it up, though, it was released in 1991 so I doubt I have real memories of it. XD I DO remember because scared of the spider in it, though.

edit: I remember my brother's first movie. We took him with us to see The Lion King when he was like... a week old. XD

I'm awfully sure that was my first too. That's at least the earliest one I can remember.

Oh gosh @[email protected] I don't remember. I was taken to the theatres long before I was old enough to understand what was going on. The earliest I can remember is Toy Story, back in '95. But I know for certain I saw ones before that, I just can't remember them XD;

Wow, I don't really know for certain, but I seem to have 101 Dalmatians popping into my head.

The live-action movie, not the cartoon. ^^
Same here! But we had to leave the movie theater half way through because Cruella de Vil scared me and my sister!

Wow. Half of you guys are making me feel old. I was like ten or eleven when you all saw your first movie in theaters. xD I'm glad to see a few Lion King here since I think that was like the third or fourth movie I saw in theaters. Disney moves defined my childhood.<3

I was a Mario fan when I was little, and in 1993 a Mario movie was released (do anyone remember that? :P), it was... ehhhhmmmm... weeeeeell... ok back then, but, looking back now the movie was HO-RRI-BLE! Almost nothing worth of Mario and Luigi.

Took me a while to do a research but that's the first movie that I can remember watching in a theater.

Monsters Inc. It was the first movie I watched, I didn't understand half of what they say since back then I don't understand much English, but I still loved it.

From what my parnets told me, it was the french version of Toy Story.

God, thats a good movie.

And as for DVD/Video or whatever, it was Sleeping Beauty.
