Um, no...you would only get 50% of whatever is left over. So, if you used Hydro Pump (120 base damage), its power would be cut in half for not being effective (so 60 base power), but then you would get half of what's left back for the STAB, leaving you with 90.

100% x 2 (SE hit for Kingdra's Dragon-type) x 1.5 (STAB) = 300%.
And the opponent's typing doesn't affect STAB. Only the attacker's.

1. In your mind, how was this going to be different from your first "example?"
2. Aurora Beam is an Ice-type attack. Suicune is a Water-type. They're not the same.
