Lolz?
I wans't saying i wouldn't be affected if one of my family members got shot.
I'm just stating,
everyone is feeling sympathy for 1 kid that got shot.
One.
I mean you guys open this thread thinking, "Awww how sad."
I opened it thinking, "Who should care other then his close relatives/family?"
Who cries for every other countries in the world?
Who cried at the Armenian holocaust?
You guys probably have never even heard of it.
The government even blocked that one out,
saying "Hey, lets not even tell people about this and maybe it will go away!"
People really need to open they're eyes and see the truth,
see the truth about how when man kills itself,
there will be no one left to cry for them...

Zasz I feel sympathy for everyone who has died and suffered in this world, I don't cry for them because I do not know them but that dosn't mean I don't care. Stop turning this thread into another topic your making no good contribution and basically saying "meh, loads of people die, I don't care about this." From your posts here so far and your other topics it appears that your merely a troll.

Wow to be honest,
Its a little annoying how i can't even post my opinion without like multiple people going,
"Man thats not right"
And when,
Vendak my good boy,
did I ever say,
"meh, loads of people die, I don't care about this."
because if I had actually said that,
I would have been okay with you disagreeing with me.
But I didn't did I?
Just because you can't stop to read my whole post because its to long for your brain to comprehend,
doesn't mean you can just say whatever you want about me and assume its right.
I'm not spamming, I'm not flaming, I'm not doing anything wrong,
I'm voicing my opinion and you should respect that.

Thanks to Trap for agreeing

Even with the statement that he was recently robbed, one does not usually get the idea that when there's a knock on the door, someone is after his money (or whatever they ended up taking) and immediately gets out a gun to shoot whomever is at the door. In my opinion, I believe that he really needs to grow out of a shell that is clearly tightly closed. I honestly think he was just trying to cover up the killing, which may have been accidental or not, with a comment about something effecting him. Funny how he basically used to do the same thing not too long ago, yet he had "post-traumatic stress" when he hears a knock on the door. I'd love to see what he has when the house makes noise.

And then I noticed how Eden states: "It's going to put a dampening on Halloween, I would think twice about going to a door that we don't know who lives behind."

I find it strange how he would say that. It's Halloween. Kids should not be worrying about if they are going to get shot (or anything along those lines) when they go out for trick-or-treating. It's the one night of the year where kids can truly run around making noises without anyone truly giving a damn about what's going on around them since it's so common that that behavior occurs on Halloween anyway. But clearly Eden's suggestion should be taken to heart by Quentin Patrick.

I also find it strange that Eden stated that when later in the article, it states that it was a town in which everyone really knew each other. It seems to me that they are just trying to make excuses and not own up to the fact that the boy was killed because of a stupid planned out action. As it was planned out to begin with since Patrick states he didn't want to be robbed again and other comments not mentioned in this article, but mentioned in another article I found about this subject.

The guy shot 29 times and 13 of the bullets hit the boy. Something tells me he could have seen the boy by the time he shot the first bullet. Otherwise, he wouldn't be so accurate with his aiming.

Patrick had multiple drug convictions but police do not believe he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the shooting.

Police said they also charged a 19-year-old in his home, Ericka Patrice Pee, with obstruction of justice when she was caught trying to run away after the shooting with $7,500 in cash. Patterson did not give an explanation for the money.

He told police he had been robbed and shot in the past year.

So he has history with drugs, and has been shot before. He has armed himself and is obviously edgy and has shot through the door without answering it and also has a lot of cash in the house.

I think drugs might have something to do with this he was probably buying/selling and maybe has done something that would make someone want to attack him for the money and/or drugs.

Holy crap. O_O Wow, what an idiot.

A few kids were shot in Chicago too (where I live) when cops came to talk to some people at their house. One of the people in the house pulled out a gun, and some stray bullets hit the kids. What a lovely world we live in.

While I do feel compelled and impulsive enough to start an arguement with another member, I'm going to hold back for myself and other members.

On topic, I am unable to comprehend the tragicness of this. A child's life was taken away by a moronic man who deserves to be put in a terribly high-secure, life-robbing prison. Ironically, the kid was probably looking forward to the day. Little did he know, it would be his last. It makes you realize how precious and fragile life really is. :/

It's been long but we can do it; let's make this our dream

Look to tomorrow because it's all we have. Turn up the music until the walls shake. What do we have?
Is it hope? Love? Is it nothing at all? We won't know at all until we make something of what we feel.
When that happens, we'll find the truth. We'll find what we want. And we will find ourselves, finally.
