Okay I have added you 2 to the first post:D
OK, first post updated:D
Ok I have updated the first post with your song:D
Er, Angela, you don't need to post just to announce this sorta thing. o_o;;

Everyone can read the first post and it's really not that necessary to add the links to their posts. People are perfectly capable of scrolling a little bit to see the posts.

And along with that, you're not really adding anything to the topic. The thread's for posting the song that describes you and while your efforts are valiant (somewhat), they're unnecessary and don't add to the discussion. ;x

Take It All Away--Ryan Cabrera. Hands down.

"So much beauty in life,
shining on the outside, empty on the inside,
I get lost sometimes,
blinded by the flashing lights, distractions always in my eyes,
So I'm following the sound, the sound of your heart,
beating...
You can take it all away; I don't need it,
It's not me, I'll still be the same..."

"What it all comes down to
Is that everything's gonna be
fine fine fine
'cause I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is giving a high five.
"

I dunno, there aren't really any songs out there that describe me XD But if I had to chose one, I'd probably go with Sharada by Skye Sweetnam. <3

That could be said about a lot of songs.

Linkin Park - In Pieces.

I remember a thread similar to this where I posted more songs… I'll probably link to that post if I can find it or bother to look or it.

I think I have two songs that describe me well:

The first is Living a Lie by Aqueduct
This song essentially summed up what happened to me after my parents died, I was merely moving through life (and high school) and i kind of wasn't experience life. When I first heard the line "It's Not Living A Lie If You're not Living at All" I was like wow, that's so true. And then lines "I just can't get it, I keep on forgetting how the past two years of my life has been wasted, golden opportunity that I could've tasted..." Completely identified where i was and how I acted in high school, not really trying, just doing enough to get by both academically and socially.

The second song is I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie
And this was like THE anthem for me. Because there was this girl i left behind in my old life, and I still love her, so much so that I would follow her into the dark. It documents how I was shipped off to Catholic School following the loss of my parents. I think the whole "i will follow you into the dark" part describes we well because I loved this girl so much that i would follow her into the dark, sacrificing anything just to be with her.

Actually one more on that same theme, Last Kiss by Pearl Jam (orginally by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers).
This makes me think of my parents, and how I hope to see them again once I've shuffled off this mortal coil. But also it makes me think about how I was ripped away from that girl i loved so long ago... And how i hope to see her again.

Well it is kinda nice to see a list of all the people who post here and then get a link straight to their post, esp. if you see people you know from the forum in the list. But you don't want to make the moderator mad :P. But he was right that you don't have to post that you updated your first post... That's just kind of pointless....

Why does Stars by Kylie Minogue describe you the best?

Why does Stars by Kylie Minogue describe you the best?

Because the text describes me so much, it says people have to be open to everything and that they can't judge until they try,

"When you look deep into the pockets of the universe
you never know what you find
because stars don't shine in singular places
open up your mind's eye and
light up familiar faces
because in time
you'll find life and all of it's races
so open up your mind's eye

and go tonight
begin to feel the light"
And that if you try it you'll find something you might like and enjoy.

"When you look deep into the pockets of the universe
you never know what you will find
because stars don't shine in singular places"
^
Shes saying that we all cant be the same, and all isn't black and white and happy.

And I feel that I was skeptic when I entered a pokemon forum, but after I stopped judging and looked past the flaws I started to enjoy pokemon forums.

And I feel the song is beautiful and sends a messages:D

Right now, The Real Me by The Who. I could pick any song off of the album "Quadrophenia" but this stands out as it's musically superior to the rest of the album.
Love Reign O'er Me and 5:15 stand out as well, though I agree it's certainly one of the strongest tracks on the album. I don't think it's musically superior personally but eh, it doesn't really matter lol.

For me, it's Hello Goodbye by The Beatles since I don't make any sense to anybody besides myself, lol
Why are the beautiful sick and divided like myself?

I'm glad you enjoy it here, I had the same skepticism when I first joined.

I have a new song that describes me pretty well. Thirty-Three by the Smashing Pumpkins, off of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (Twilight to Starlight). This CD was meant to be The Wall of Generation-X and it was an absolutely amazing album. I love this song, and the lyrics really speak to me:

"And for a moment I lose myself
Wrapped up in the pleasures of the world
Ive journeyed here and there and back again
But in the same old haunts I still find my friends
Mysteries not ready to reveal
Sympathies Im ready to return
Ill make the effort, love can last forever"

^It reminds me of how far I've traveled, but how I can still find my friends in the places that are familiar to me, which always gives me some peace. I'm away at college right now so for the first time in my life I'm unable to just walk out my door and hangout with my 3 best friends I've had since I was 3, and losing that kind of support system is hard. Plus I just love the fact hey say if you make an effort love can last for ever... That gives me hope for myself and for love.

Milkshake by Kelis, Toxic by Britney Spears, and Breathe on Me by Britney Spears. I'm a very... sensual person, and these songs get me going. I can't help but to dance to them whenever I play them: driving, in my bed, in the shower. I just have to move.

I'd like to think it's something awesome, upbeat, and cool, (not to say the following song isn't cool :P) but I always fall back on Switchfoot's "This is Your Life". Every tough moment in my life comes back to that.

The song that fits me best would be "Gotta Be Somebody" by NickelBack. It just... "fits me."

I changed my mind: "Stop and Stare" by One Republic.
I really need a new signature.
