not really, it's just a "faster" way to say something, but since a lot of people use proper use of grammar, it doesn't fare too well with most.

Leet speak is not fast, lawl. Chatspeak, sometimes; definitely not Leet speak though.

It's not a different language. It's basically symbols replacing the alphabetical letters of the english alphabet. All the words are pronounced exactly the same and mean the same thing. Letters are just replaced with another symbol or a group of them, but the pronunciation or meaning of the word isn't changed.

And I wouldn't use it. It consumes more time and makes your post look retarded and hard to read. No one likes it. ;>

It is a real language. But it is abandoned now. Like Latin! You don't see an Italian Hobo speak Latin anymore, do you?

No, because you're trying to spell something differently and make it sound like English at the same time. It's not a language; just an example of English being murdered.
'It's been a prevalent notion. Fallen sparks. Fragments of vessels broken at the Creation. And someday, somehow, before the end, a gathering back to home. A messenger from the Kingdom, arriving at the last moment. But I tell you there is no such message, no such home -- only the millions of last moments . . . nothing more. Our history is an aggregate of last moments.'

Well any sort of abbreviation towards vocabulary can only really be a variation of a language, not an actual language itself. This topic actually falls under one that's currently active in Other Chat, plus it's something quite prone to discussion between members rather than it being a simple poll for simplistic answers.
