Alrighty. I'm planning on making a pokemon site called Keystone Challenges. Basically what it is is a site with various pokemon-related contests and challenges for the Advance Generation and lower games(sorry, im not personally into the new D/P/Pt versions). It'll focus mainly on the Advance Generation games, however.

There will be various types of challenges, ranging from one-pokemon game runs to graphic contests. I wanted to just see if there'd be any interest in a site like this before I went and spent time on it. The basic concept of this site comes from my 'pokemon evaluator' idea and of course from the various contests and such that are always run on the forums. Below is a very rough site map

Home
- Forum
- Challenges
-- Challenge 1
-- Challenge 2
-- Challenge 3
- Pokemon Evaluation
- Creativity
-- Fan Fiction
-- Art Gallery
-- Keystone Roleplay
-- Non-Canon Information
- Non-Pokemon
-- About Me
-- Horse Racing News
-- Links

Also, if anyone has any ideas for other content, please make suggestions. Please don't mind the random "Horse Racing News" page. I'm a freak about horse racing, so I figured i'd add some of my own personal interest into there.

Edit: Forgot to talk about how the challenges and stuff actually work. :X

Challenges:

Most challenges will involve re-starting your pokemon game and playing it a certain way. However, some will require an already-complete game or a specific save file to be used(on emulators). People interested in doing the 'official' contest will fill out a form that'll vary from challenge to challenge. Once they've sent it and I get it, they become a part of the challenge and can begin working on it. There will be graphic awards for people who complete challenges, as well as special awards such as highest leveled pokemon, fastest completion, etc.

Contests:

Most contests will be art contests of some sort. Perhaps a spriting competition, or a short story contest. These work the same way as challenges, except you send your entry in with the form. Again, there are graphic awards for winners.

Evaluations:

For Pokemon Evaluations you must show the evaluator a certain pokemon that he/she is looking for. Screenshots are the only acceptable way to show evaluators pokemon. (hit prnt scrn and then paste into an image editor) Usually the pokemon will have to have certain stats or moves. Obviously there's no way to tell if a pokemon has been hacked, so this goes on the honor system and is a continual thing. So when I get shown a pokemon that fits certain criteria, a new challenge will be posted for people to complete on their own.

Roleplay:

Roleplay plot is currently under construction. It will be made so that new members are always accepted. Will most likely be made as a trainer adventure

Non-Canon Info:

Just random facts and trivia that I've come up with about Pokemon that isn't directly stated in canon. All of this comes from a combination of canon and my own imagination. Considering creating a pokedex with a mixture of canon and non-canon information in it.

I recommend you keep the non-Pokémon stuff to a separate site, if you plan to make this a Pokémon site.

"One reason why mathematics enjoys special esteem, above all other sciences, is that its laws are absolutely certain and indisputable, while those of other sciences are to some extent debatable and in constant danger of being overthrown by newly discovered facts."
Albert Einstein

"What science can there be more noble, more excellent, more useful for men, more admirably high and demonstrative than mathematics."
Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."
Bertrand Russell

ANNOY ME AT YOUR PERIL. I am becoming increasingly tired of the unmanly elitism and closed-mindedness of certain members who shall remain unnamed.
